Superchefs

I went with a group of friends and everyone loved what that had. Most of us had the veggie omelette and it is really big and delicious. I also had the candied bacon and it was a bit greasy but tasted sweet. One had the waffle bites and they looked amazing and she loved them. Another had a pancake which she said was great .. she couldn’t stop raving about the delicious marshmallow roasted on the plate. I hope to come back again soon!

Found this gem on Sunday morning and got there at open. Greeted with friendly service and sat right away, but by 9am most of the tables were taken. Looked like an old bar turned kitchen/diner with superhero theme. Good, creative menu with great choices for breakfast. Big cups of coffee and ingredients were fresh on the breakfast. Loved the waffle bites and may get it fir dessert next time instead of appetizer.

When I tell you that you HAVE TO try this place, I'm serious!! From appetizer (Breakfast Nachos) to finish The Juggernaut (Red waffle, candy'd bacon, fried egg, pepper Jack and American (i subbed cheddar) and fried chicken breast, with spicy maple syrup sandwich) it was an awesome taste experience! Quaint, yet hip atmosphere. Nicely decorated with a very friendly staff! Can't wait to go back!!

They told us we would be waiting almost an hour for our food, but they were efficient enough to get us seated in under half an hour. I was very impressed by that especially when it's followed by such an amazing meal. I mean the rumors are true... The food is incredible That's no surprise. I just thought I would be another voice in the wind saying yes absolutely go here. You won't regret it. The candied bacon is phenomenal, The Sub-Zero pancakes are a must get and the red waffles with their fried chicken is an absolute delicacy. Anyway. You got to eat here if you're in town

Was in from Ohio visiting family and went here for breakfast. Heard it was really good from the family we were with. But really good was not what it was, it was omg the best breakfast I have ever had. I had the granola stuffed french toast and tried a bite of everyone else's breakfast and everything I tried was hands down amazing. If you are local or out of town visiting you must try this place for breakfast.

The place is inviting. Seems it is getting back on. Ultra friendly service team.
Every plate is worth a picture, all the ones I had were super flavorful and might not look huge portion but they are very satisfying.
Easy street parking and great walkable location.
They close at 3pm but they are not turning the lights off on you at 2.59. Did I mention they are super friendly? ✔👍🙌

The food was delicious. The waffle bites with blueberries or strawberry will satisfy anyone craving of crispy waffles. The southwest eggrolls were also delicious in a savory way. Everything we ordered was delicious, however the Subzero needed more of the lemon marscarpone cream to flavor the pancakes. However, that was the ONLY thing we could find negative. It was commented that the syrup saved that dish. I could go on and on about the dishes we got but suffice it to say you will not be disappointed.

Loveeddd this food. At first was worried that the portions wouldn't be very fulfilling but i was clearly wrong. Next time I'm in town first place ill be hitting up! Great combination of delicious and amazing to look at!

This is one of the best restaurants we have been to for awhile! Very comfortable, great service and amazing food. It was ashame we couldn't eat more. The banana pudding french toast was so flavorful and unique. The eggs benedict had a great twist of sausage and pepper grits and was so tasty! We will be back!

I got the vegan flash and side of grits, my man got the juggernaut.

The food was so good and the menu is really fun. The service was also great.

I think the outside of the restaurant was clearly superhero themed and decorated but the atmosphere inside is pretty plain. I recommend ownership add some hanging decor and more fun superhero theme to the tables or ceiling.

Excellent Breakfast & Lunch Spot!! One of the Best in Louisville!!

Me & My Wife had the day off and enjoyed this place around lunch time. The variety of items on the menu along with the fun atmosphere of the Superhero’s on the wall and great music makes this the perfect spot.

The food was super good, took a while yet definitely was worth the wait. We will be going back again soon!!

Oh man this place is fantastic! I'm visiting from out of town and my friend recommended this place and I'm so glad he did! They offer breakfast and lunch and the food was awesome and the price wasn't too bad at all. The art on the wall was really unique and cool and I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. On a side note, I'm super jealous we don't have this place in Seattle.
The entire staff was super friendly and focused on the customers and the whole experience was just pleasant. Thank you :)

AMAZING!! Wide array of options, and everything was so flavorful. I ordered the waffle sampler. As well as a side of their grits(not just any old grits though, these were FIRE) and yes I used the word fire. Everything was delicious. Very fast and friendly service as well. Love my time there! Thank you!

I have been wanting to try this place but hadn't gotten around to it until this past weekend. My husband and I were watching Cheap Eats on the Cooking Channel (I think that is the right channel) and the host was visiting Louisville. SuperChefs was one of the places he went. So my husband and I decided to give it a try the next day. The food was delicious. I had the candied bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a pretzel croissant. It came with skillet potatoes. It was excellent. My hubby had the granola encrusted banana pudding French toast. Yes you read that correctly. It was delicious. I also tried the blueberry mimosas. We will definitely be back.

I have always, heard great things about Superchefs and really never found the time to go. About 2 weeks, ago my brother and sister in law decided to move to Kentucky from New England and my brother in law seen something on TV about the chef and the food and he really wanted to go. A few days ago we decided to take him for his birthday and Oh My God was it totally worth it. The restaurant was clean, the servers were responsive and extremely nice. Our server's name was Day, yes Day :). She had so much passion about the food and the restaurant that if you did not know, you would think she owned the place.

The red waffle dish is the Juggernaut and it has just a slight hint of spice to it. The Chicken was cooked perfectly. Then there is a Breakfast platter and Steak and Eggs. It was all fantastic and we cannot wait to go back.

Ok where do we start?! I absolutely loved this place! Food was AMAZING! I ordered the banana pudding French toast. It was something I’ve never had and it did not disappoint! I also had grits on the side, and let just tell you, they required NO CHEESE!!! Grits already had cheese in them yall! And they were SEASONED WELL, and the right consistency!! My bf had the wings and waffles, and they were great!!! I only bit a piece of his wing 😂 and it was good, not sure what the sauce is but it was good!! We had the candy’s turkey bacon which was included turkey bacon cooked in syrup I’m guessing.. pretty good. And oh!! The appetizer!! Macaroni, greens, fried chicken egg roll with a sweet potato sauce.. MAN!!! Amazing!! It’s like the chicken was fried and seasoned to perfection. Would definitely recommend this place to eat!!!!! Only thing, no refills on the drinks!! But we had flavored lemonade, which was also good lol not sure if it was homemade lemonade or not.. almost taste like a sweet kool-aid.. all in all, would definitely eat here again.

Cannot say enough good things about this establishment. We went with my family and they did everything to make our experience pleasant and welcoming. Every staff person from the host, waitress, to the bussers were genuine and kind. Our food was delicious, and unique. They even gave us a discount card at the end for us to use the next time we came, and our waitress thanked us all individually with a personalized note! You won’t find many gems like this anymore. Such a wonderful place!

My mom brought me to Superchefs for my 21st birthday breakfast. The first thing I noticed was how kind all of the staff was, 3 different people wished me a happy birthday, I got a free waffle bites appetizer with a nice message, and the host was SO sweet when we arrived. After looking at the menu, we chose the Jaggernaut and the lemon blueberry pancakes. Wow!! Pretty good. The food definitely looked a little better than it tasted. The ‘pancakes’ reminded me more of cake rather than a traditional pancake but it was my birthday so F it!!!! 🥳

I want to start off saying I loved this place and the food. Atmosphere is perfect. Menu options are unique and all sound tasty. The presentation of the seafood biscuits and gravy was a bit off putting. It was served in a mason jar sitting in an empty garnished bowl. It didn’t look appetizing in the jar as it reminded me of a dairy product that sat in a jar and went bad. I wasn’t even sure what to do with it, but I did pour it into a bowl causing my hand to get gravy on it, and then I had to scoop out the chunks left behind. Looked so much more appealing in a bowl. Flavor was amazing. Grits I got as a side were some of the best ever. Love the place but seems like some of the presentation is unnecessary and pulls away from the awesome flavors.

Must try place for sure ! I went on a Friday and got the Friday French toast special . That stuff was so good I almost ordered another one . Then I had the super chef omelet with the potatoes . The food was fresh , hot and good ! I almost tried to force my self to order lunch there as well but I didn’t wanna over do it. It’s also owned by a young African American chef who gives back to the community so that’s a plus as well. It’s like having gourmet food for less than gourmet price . Worth every penny
