Frisch's Big Boy

The only one left in Louisville,there was not a lot of people ,we did the breakfast bar and it was good and cheap,the service was good .

A BIG SHOUT OUT to the only Frisch's Restaurant left in Louisville KY! The food & service was superb tonight! Our waitress was April and she was excellent! The restaurant was busy but the cooks were definitely on their toes and when complimenting the manager, Amanda, she handed us a card and asked us to leave a review which we are happy to do! The Big Boy is a staple on Poplar Level Rd and it's so sad that it's the only one left in Louisville. We will be back!!

Great tasting and famous Frisch's Big Boy Sandwiches. Delicious tasting onion rings and french fries. Legendary, nostalgic and cozy eat in dining area. Great desserts too! Awesome Seafood buffet on Friday nights during Lenten religious season.

Everyone was so nice and helpful in assisting with my book signing gathering. Taylor and Cleo helped put me in touch with Robin, the manager, who made it possible. That night, April gave us five star service along with waiting on all of her other customers. This is the perfect place for any gathering. It really helped me that people could get a table and eat while I was signing books so no one was waiting in line.

We came with a party of three adults and one toddler on 08/16/2022 slightly before 3pm.

We were seated by Angie and it became obvious this poor lady was running the restaurant solo.

She did a wonderful job! She took orders, bussed tables, ran the register, and I’m pretty sure she was cooking, too!

She was super attentive and engaging, and checked on the customers frequently so we never had a lack of anything. It was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had at any restaurant.

The food was good. Nothing fancy, but hot and delicious! After a long day at the zoo we were very happy to have such a wonderful dinner. Thank you! And kudos to Angie!

Kelly B was absolutely amazing! My daughter turned 17 and she made her day with a birthday cake!!!

Angie B was our server. She was absolutely amazing. She was physically running trying to take care of everyone. Without any help from anyone. She had 2x the amount of tables as the other server and kept up with refills and the orders. She is definitely one of a kind. Thank you!

Cleo my servant was excellent and friendly he kept coming and checking on us to see if we need anything and the manager came by to check on us too I really appreciate the kindness of both of them

When we came here, it was extremely busy. It was very obvious that the restaurant was short staffed. However, the waitress (who we found out later was the manager) was extremely friendly, accommodating, and made sure we had a great dining experience. We felt bad about her being the only server that evening. Despite the stressful circumstances for her, she made sure we had drinks, got our order right, and everything was hot and fresh. 10/10 highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

We love Frich’s! The Poplar level store is the only one that’s left in our area and it is so sad that they’ve closed so many of the other stores. We will keep coming here and hope that you will not close the store! Frisch’s is an icon and there’s not another burger like the Big Boy nor the Buddy Boy! Also we did take out today but we dine in quite often!

I’m in town from Nashville for work and couldn’t decide where to eat all morning. I finally decided on this place and I am glad that I did. The food was fresh at the bar. The general manager Addie went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of and that my food was up to par. I winded up getting desert where even though the shake machine was down she still made me a shake and it was delicious.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍔🍰 Guys?! This is THE LAST Frisch’s BIGBOY in Louisville, Ky. I’ve been a fan since childhood. One by one, they’ve closed 😳🥹I got a strangest craving for a goood ol fashioned big boy burger the other night and googled to see if there were any left! Ahhhh I found this location and was so relieved! On this night I went through the drive through and my order was perfect, the women at the drive through line so kind and paid attention to detail (a true rarity these days) next time we go back, we’re eating inside and I’m adding the soup and salad bar with the strangely delicious spaghetti salad (please give me recipe?) The place was packed! Always great to see🥰I had to take time to write a review to spread the good word, but to also let owner of said Frisch's to keep up the excellent work on your establishment. You are a treasure, and you treat your building, employees and continued customers as such! 😊🙏

Angela, our waitress, was courteous and efficient. She is very good and Frisch's should find staff members who are as good at her job as she is. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The portions were about right for a meal.

My Sunday goto breakfast spot! The one on Poplar Level is the best! Great staff always welcoming and makes me feel at home and like part of the family

I’m so happy Frisch’s close to me is still open! The food is always tasty and service is wonderful! New menu items and salad bar is amazing! Love the veggie soup and so do my grandkids!

Shanta was an AMAZING waitress. The food was good like usual. She gave us enough time to decide what we wanted. She made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy being there. Would definitely go again!

Absolutely the BEST food, service and a great overall experience.
We also had 2 breakfast bars. That was just the BEST we've had in a very long time.

Went through the drive thru around 8:00pm had a great experience!! the drive thru lady was super sweet ,food was fresh and hot and was very pleased , will most definitely be back !!

Had buy one get one free. Had the Super Big Boys. Was delicious. Great service & food.
