If you're like me and have curly or damaged hair & have been ignored by previous stylists who just chop it off "because you needed it" despite what you say, this is your lady!
I had been cutting my own hair for years, then went to Z Salon where they proceeded to give me the worst haircut and dye job in years and then charged me 100s. I waited months, then try Amy. She did only what I said and nothing more.
She did a dry cut, trimmed only the bottom to help me get to one layer of hair, all the same length (I'm a ways from that), and did it quick while asking me if I wanted more the entire time.
She's so kind and such a good listener, and that is huge when it comes to your hairdresser. She's the only hairdresser I will ever go to for my color, cuts, extensions, or anything else she offers that I want to do.
Her personal style is off the chain as well! Just saying!

Oh my gosh!! One of the absolute best hair stylist I've ever come into contact with. If I could give 100 stars I would. Amy was so nice and she was a complete perfectionist & knowledgeable professional! She does her best to ensure that you love your hair before you leave and also has a "love your haircut" guarentee so if you want to come back in a week and make it shorter she will just do it for you! The studio was also vert cute and laid back. I would come back here for the rest of my life if I could. Totally worth every penny.

I have been going to Amy since 2018. She is great with all types of hair and incorporates the best techniques and keeps up to date all the new practices as well as holds a high standard of care for her clients. She is the best person I have ever had doing my hair!

I was introduced to Amy a few years ago after having been looking for a new stylist for a long time. She is absolutely amazing! She takes plenty of time to listen to what you want, and if you aren’t sure she has many helpful suggestions so you will be sure to leave happy and in love with your new cut/style. Not only that but she also will help you understand the products she uses so you can also achieve the same great look on your own. I can not recommend her enough!

Oh, and Amy is a very sweet person. I have cancer, fatigue easily and she was so considerate and kind helping me when I needed help moving between chairs. I have not been to the new salon yet because of Covid, but she assures me it is accessible and I trust her. If you are disabled, still want to have awesome hair, and need someone to be considerate of your needs, Amy is who you are looking for.

I stepped out of my comfort zone and am SO glad - Shelby has been cutting my hair for some time and did some traditional hair color about a year ago. Today, she put lavender highlights in and it is absolutely beautiful. I was super nervous because we've all see ladies of a certain age trying to sport a young girl's look - not pretty. Somehow, Shelby was able to make lavender highlights look natural and it's lovely! Shelby at Art of Dyeing, you are a true artist - love love!

I've been going to Amy for two years now and refuse to see anyone else. I like to change my hair with my mood or the seasons and she is always up for doing fun new styles or colors. I tell everyone I know who is looking for a new stylist to go see her because I know they'll always get exactly what they're looking for. Plus, you'd be hard pressed to find a more sweet, fun, and talented person to help you feel like you.

I always love going to see Amy! She just gets it. Its always a pleasure to treat myself to a trip here. Amy really cares about how you feel about your look, and jumps through hoops to take care of you without a second thought. Love love LOVE

Booked my first appointment here and got my haircut by Jared. It came out better than I imagined. He gave me adorable bangs and was super friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is amazing!!! The owner, Amy, is the epitome of the term "Hair Goddess" She helps me maintain my sea witch aesthetic...and for those who aren't sure, that's a VERY good thing. 💗
