Guaca Mole Modern Mexican

I settled up at the bar and began my meal with a Cantanto which was made with Patron, fresh lime and grapefruit. The clay pot rim of the cup had a spicy concoction that I could drizzle on anything.

As an appetizer, I ordered the guacamole in three different ways and quickly realized that I could have made this my whole meal because it came with a huge basket of chips to scoop up the dip.

To round out my meal, I ordered the shrimp tacos with squid ink tortillas. This was the first time that I had these type of tortillas and now I cannot see having them any other way.

Amazing and unique food. I wasn’t disappointed in any food. Both classic Mexican dishes and new takes. Everything was delicious. And our server was very helpful and friendly. Definitely stop by, it is worth the visit! Get tacos Al carbon, churros, and guacamole for sure.

One of the best restaurants in Louisville hands down the best Mexican restaurant. Our server was Blasa R, and she was the best server I ever had. The service and food are amazing. The cocktails were amazing as well. They are true artists from the kitchen to the front of the house they go above and beyond. Blasa was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was very helpful when we were not sure what to order. My whole party was extremely impressed from the start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Can't wait to return.

This spot is fantastic; their Birria Tacos are the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned. Alex, our server, was outstanding. The ambiance and entertainment were top-notch. Louisville feels like a home away from home. Although we had to take our churros to go since we were too full at the restaurant, I'll definitely be back for more.

The atmosphere here was absolutely beautiful every room leaves you jaw dropped!! The food was incredible and they had great variety, the mocktails are absolute delicious and for dessert I got the ice cream Sunday and they brought it out on this really neat ice cream cart which made the experience so much more fun! They also had really fun live band going around the room taking song requests which was dope! I highly recommend Guacamole modern Mexican!

Restaurant is amazingly beautiful inside and outside.
Food is lovely and it extrapolates you back home with the concise and delicious flavor. Waitress, bartenders and managers do an excellent job and service.
However, the many times I have been to the restaurant haven't feel so welcomed at first glance. I would say the staff in the entrance should make the public warm and welcome with a better disposition and manners to guide you. It should be great to see an smile and emphatic attitude from them at the door. Thanks!!

We had the best meal and time here! The guac trio with plantain and blue corn chips was great! Same with the Enfrijolada. The margaritas were delicious and strong! Byron our waiter was very attentive and fun, and he gave us great recommendations when we were on the fence between menu items.

Dudes. DUDES! I was in town on business and picked this place based on reviews and pictures, it was even better than I expected!
A+ Service. Freaking amazing food (I had salmon and guac). Perfection.
It was a bit loud for talking, but the food made it worth it.

1st time, not the last. Came on Vday seating was limited, but after convo with management they happy to oblige and provided better seating ( we needed 2 tables for all the good food and drinks ) Thank you / gracias👍🏾😅

We absolutely loved our meal here. Everything was fresh, delicious and absolutely beautiful! The decor was super cute and the service was excellent. We loved our server Gigi and appreciated the manager coming over to check on us as well. Recommend by locals and now we understand why!

My husband and I were in Louisville recently visiting a friend and had a lovely lunch here! The place itself is vibrant and fun, our waitress was very kind and had lots of suggestions, and the food was both presented beautifully and tasted amazing. I had the Enfrijoladas and my husband the Carne Asada - I definitely recommend them both!

The food was great! One of the best Mexican restaurants in my opinion. Their dishes are flavorful and amazingly presented with class.

My mother and I organized a small brunch for my sister to celebrate her engagement here. We had brought some flower arrangements and a few other small things and the staff was so accommodating and helpful! The service was fantastic from start to finish and the meals were not only beautifully presented but they were absolutely delicious. We had a great experience here all around and I highly recommend it.

Fun, lively atmosphere! The staff was friendly. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music playing tableside. We ordered the birria tacos, pastor tacos and guacamole. Everything was fresh and delicious! There is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant.

This was a unique place to visit on our getaway with friends. We sat on the rooftop, where there misters going to cool us down. We just had appetizers (plantain chips were amazing) and drinks. The appetizers were delicious & the drinks were unique & refreshing. The atmosphere was really fun and the servers were friendly & attentive. Also, plenty photo opportunities!

I live in California and went to Louisville to visit my friends. I was beyond impressed to see NuLu and such amazing restaurants. I haven’t seen a Mexican restaurant in Orange County that can be even compared to Guaco Mole. Service, food, presentation, ambiance, music all excellent!!

Words of choice: flavor, colorful, GREAT date night....

This was my second time here. I genuinely think you will enjoy this place no matter your conceptions, background, or appetite

It was a really cool concept to bring to the NuLu area of Louisville. It is chef inspired and their whole mission is about colorful vibrancy. You can see this through their decor right when you walk in. There are bright flowers EVERYWHERE.

We sat on the rooftop balcony area where the bar is. Great service from the bartender and staff.

We got the traditional guacamole as an appetizer. Which I must say was the best guac I have had (Although I haven't had guac from that many restaurants soo...). It was smooth and creamy and had tons of flavor. I liked how in the chips they included plantains, never see that at other places besides Havana rumba. There were also edible flowers on top, which again added to the colorful vibrancy theme.

Then we shared a dish that was like an open faced quesadilla with braised rib as the meat choice. This was phenomenal! It was so big so my fiance and i shared it. It had tons of different textures which complemented well and again had flowers on top.

Things can be pretty pricey here so don't come if you are thinking it will be a cheap little basic meal. Its not. Its top notch food so you will pay top notch prices. All entrees fall under about $30 a plate. But to me its worth it if you are looking for a date night.

Neat place. Very busy so we came back later for deserts and they were very good. Good location on the Bourbon Trail!

The cocktails were fun and delicious! I highly recommend the smoked swordfish taquito appetizer!

This place never disappoints. Very lively and the food is delicious! Carne asada, smoked fish tacos and the carnitas were delicious. Service was great and plenty of amazing cocktails.
