Went in as a group and service was quick! The decor creates such a chill ambience, and I'd definitely want to go there and study or just reflect. Drinks were the perfect refresher on a hot day!

Love to come here after school to study! The atmosphere is really great and usually the employees are really friendly. Their signature drinks are amazing, and sometimes I'll go out of my way to grab one of their hot chocolates. Great business, great coffee, great place!

I love this place. It's a nice little local hangout and study area and the ambiance is nice too. I love their coffee, it's always fresh and tasteful. The employees are really good too. I've never had a problem here! 100% would recommend, especially if you are new to or visiting Louisville.

Super friendly upon walking in and for first time trying a place, that’s always so nice. The organic fair trade South American blend was rich and delicious. Definitely would come here over Starbucks any day! Thank you for the decaf Honduras:Good Morning combo!

Today November 6th 2016 was my very first time going to Heine Brother's Coffee and was blown away by the two very lovely lady's that helped go over the menu for me and my boyfriend. Absolutely loved our drink they helped us choose! I want to give them great Thanks! Rachel was the first lady we encountered and was very lively and helped tons. A great locally owned coffee shop in the heart of the Highlands. Great people watching but it also makes it difficult to work when you have so much to watch. Love their coffee drinks and wish they had a better app.

Probably my favorite Heine Bros location, super comfortable environment. Friendly & efficient staff, and a great way to start your day. The Iced Americano on a hot summer day is just the right beverage of choice. Convenient parking, but make sure you pay the parking meter--PARC patrols the area pretty regularly and they like to write tickets!

You like brown slime that doesn't taste like espresso? Go somewhere else. You like prefab food heated by a lamp? Go somewhere else. You like employees whose spirit is crushed by the over-prescriptive employee handbook? Go somewhere else. This place is for good coffee, great food, quality employees, and a chill atmosphere. I guess if you don't like those things, go somewhere else, but that would be a mistake.

Of course frozen cappuccinos are my favorite coffee but I wish you would bring back blueberry muffins without the lemon. All the employees are wonderful. Thanks for the great service!

Friendly atmosphere with free Wi-Fi; variety of coffees, teas, expressos, etc. Quiet workable meeting atmosphere & nicelylit. "Town square" for connecting with neighbors & meeting people.

I'm not down with the barista lingo, but they were patient with me. "Fat and skinny, short and tall" are ways to describe the foam on your cappuccino, (whole or skim, a little or a lotta foam) but they were patient with me. There can be a crowd sometimes, but there are nice shops to walk and browse nearby. The food is pretty good too.

Hot as blazes in the morning but the cold brew kept me awake and cool. High quality coffee cold brewed with nitro for creaminess. The blueberry lemon scone was also delicious!

My favorite coffee shop hands down, I love the beekeeper, and the frozen chiaberg. I have tried many more but these are my go to. The staff is also very helpful and great to talk to

A great place to take your teen age kids. Culture and environment. A great time on the weekend. A cup of Joe and a walk through the Highlands. Enjoying architecture and conversation with my kids.

Large shop with plenty of seating. Since it's quick and as expected with very goods coffee. Watch your time with the meters, City really goes after late cars.

HB at the Douglass Loop is my favorite coffee shop. The bare brick walls and girders give an eclectic but warm feel along with the many wooden tables and chairs.

The baristas are extremely friendly and instantly recognize frequent patrons and welcome newcomers. The shelves are full of small-batch, fair - trade coffees, and they provide shelf space for crafts from third - world countries at fair exchange prices. You can even buy one of their burlap coffee sacks! (for a small price. )

Plenty of HB souvenir cups and mugs are available as well as T- shirts and hats.

Kizito's giant cookies are featured there; I recommend Lucky in Kentucky with nuts and chocolate chips that will remind you of the KY Derby, the Most Famous Two Minutes in Sports. These delicious cookies fly off the shelf, so get yours while you can!

Or if it is extra caffeine you crave, pick up a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans.

Seasonal specialties are available such as hot apple cider from Huber Orchard in Starlite, IN or year - round enjoy hot chocolate. And there are several house teas to choose from if you think the best thing about coffee is the aroma.

Heine Brothers also gives wall space (a finished wall) to feature art works of local artists and makes them available for purchase.

Take advantage of HB's Wi-Fi when you relax with your unique beverage. Students, professionals, and other adults do this often, whether at a table, a stool, or in one of a few squashy chairs. In the cold days, enjoy the lit (real) fireplace fire inside a radiating metal enclosure.
