Jim's Barber Shop

Been coming to see Steve ever since I’ve lived in KY-13 years! I don’t know where I would be-or what I would look like without him! His family is a really sweet family. He is by appointment only! You should call him, right now!

Jim’s barber shop is an excellent example of your classic, family owned and operated, local, barbershop. Steve has obviously been cutting hair gift along time. He’s good at what he does and just seems to be an all around great guy.

I’ve only had my hair cut at Jim’s once, but after seeing how good of a job he does, how great of a guy he is, and the number of compliments I get on my haircuts, I will for sure be a returning customer.

You can’t go wrong getting a haircut from Jim’s!

There is something to be said for a classic barber shop, I had my first haircut with Jim today and left impressed. He said he has over 20 years of experience and it showed as he delivered the desired cut swiftly and deftly like an experienced barber should. I can easily say it was the best haircut I've gotten since moving to Louisville from Chicago. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a no-frills, skilled, classic barber shop.

We’ve tried a few Barbershops in town and found our way back to Jim’s. My husband and my two boys are very happy with Jim. Highly recommend!

A very long time customer here. Steve & Amanda run a hometown friendly shop. They greet every customer by name upon entering the door. I doubt you'll find this at the the other middletown barbers. Under the current virus orders, appointments are encouraged. Perfect quality cut every time. Wait times were usually under 30min. when walk-ins were Ok'd. I encounter a reason to tip at every visit. Still want them to offer: children 85 and older get special cut when accompanied by their parent. lol.

Always a great cut from Steve! Steve and Amanda have been cutting my hair for almost 30 years. Always priced low. Currently by appointment only due to COVID protocols.

I started going to this barbershop as a kid when Jim was still alive. Years later after dealing with places claiming to be barbershops I decided that I needed to visit Jim's again and catch up with Steve. I've enjoyed sharing a part of my past with my boys and catching up with Steve again.

Been going there since the 80’s. Steve and Amanda have a piece of the past. An old time barbershop. What a great place and great hair cut.

Steve is so kind to my husband who has dementia. Rrally appreciate him, and good cut.
