I met the owner about a month ago when I returned a box of bourbon balls that I had purchased there. I opened a 4 piece box of candy only to find 3 pieces instead of 4. I took a picture of the box and with my receipt I returned to the store.The owner without question went to the cooler and gave me a new box of theses delectable candies. I think I'm going to hang out there more often because of the kindness and professionalism that I experienced. Shop at Taste of Kentucky in Middletown there's something for everyone and you'll leave feeling glad you did!

First time here and what an amazing store. This store has been around for 35 years and the owners Robert and Karen are incredibly knowledgeable, funny and caring, fantastic customer service.

They have a huge variety of things to buy as a gift or keepsake. The prices were really good on almost everything. I'm glad we stopped.

Visited from Virginia, always loved the fleur de lis design and had no idea louisville was filled with then! This gift shop sold many local items and symbolic items along with local food and sauce, great place! And great staff!

Went here while visiting Kentucky. The people are very kind the food is good. Just a relaxing, no preasure, great food and friendly people.

What a fantastic little GEM of a store. Service was super great and friendly. They even laughed at a couple of my dumb jokes. I could have spent way more time in there and bought so much more but when you are spending Canadian dollars, everything is twice the price. There is such a great range of products!! Will stop in again and hopefully our dollar is worth more so I can buy 1 of everything!!!!

I buy a Derby Pie every year to send to a friend in Hawaii. It is reasonable & my friend says it arrives packed in a cooler & is just perfect. Been sending that for many years.

Really nice souvenir shop. Staff are really nice too. I am traveling here, and I bought Bourbon county honey, jam, derby pie, coffee, and postcards. So I don’t need to worry about what to give to my friends.

Absolutely love this place! Whether looking for Christmas gifts or something different and special for a loved one, they most likely have it. Plus their selection of bourbon candies is to die for. If you have never had Modjeskas btw, you are missing out on life.

Lastly, every one of their staff members have been extremely nice and helpful. Can't beat it!

Now I know where to shop whenever I want to give out some goodies.
