Urban Brick

Excellent food and drinks! We’ve been to Urban Brick a number of times as a halfway meeting place between St. Augustine and family in Orlando, and every time we have a great meal. The pizzas are fantastic and they are very accommodating to dietary needs which is always important for our group with one gluten allergy and a vegetarian. We always look forward to our meals at Urban Brick and wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

Finally meeting an Italian Restaurant with plenty of Gluten Free options!
We ordered the spinach dip, mussels for start. Then we had pizza (the sweet and salty pizza and the vegetarian pizza!
I really recommend it. Great for couples or even family’s lunch.

Our food was incredible. The truffle fries with garlic aioli were to die for. The garden pizza was the tastiest I've had in a long time. Our server Marissa was beyond amazing. She was funny and attentive and she did great. I can't wait to go back.

That was some QUALITY vegan pizza!! Nom nom! Staff looked professional. Great location. Street parking or lot nearby.

The food was delicious. Our waitress was nice. The seating was a little awkward for me. Other wise it was a cute place and a place to go again.

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere, we were in the mood for pizza in DeLand and had never tried this spot before and it did not disappoint.

Tried a Classic Cheese Pizza along with the Frittis and they were both delicious. Pizza was cooked well, it was a tad overdone on the top but the crust was some of the better crust I've had. The Frittis were delicious, try them, they are different but exciting!

Service was good, we were seated promptly and the server (can't remember her name, unfortunately) was great. Would definitely return again, or perhaps try takeout, they run great specials on their socials for takeout at certain times.

THE BUTTERNUT SQUASH RAVIOLI SPECIAL IS SOOO FANTASTIC. We also had the garlic foccacia and the sweet and salty pizza. and they make the ravioli in house thanks chef ryekin we love you. Also the riesling is delicious it's off sweet and fruity

The staff are so sweet and got us a table asap. The pasta primavera was excellent and so was the farm salad. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot!

Our third night in a row eating here food was phenomenal. First night. We got grilled salmon on a Caesar salad and. The beggars purse it was amazing. Second night. We got the lasagna to die for and the Primavera, which was vegetarian and absolutely delicious and I was treated to the flourless chocolate cake for dessert absolutely amazing RICH and chocolatey and then third night we split a gluten-free pizza which is possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life.

Edit 6/20/23: So Happy they were open Sunday! Wanted to add some photos of our take out personal pizzas. Pepperoni Bacon 🤤 Sweet and Salty and some Focaccia Bread.

Amazing food and very satisfying portion sizes for the price. Cody was our server and he was wonderful. He set the atmosphere and really made the experience! We’ll definitely come back!

The owner Rose was very nice and welcoming. Our pizza was delicious and our server Lauren was very attentive to us and helpful even though she was busy. We will definitely come back. And we appreciated them being open on a Sunday!

Food was great! It was only 2 of us and we ended up ordering the same Fiochi a la Pera but one with chicken! The focaccia was really good too!

I tried the Chelan Salmon and it was spectacular and so much flavor. Thanks to our waiter, Caleb, who suggested it. Hubby had Lasagna and he said it was good but the bread was soooo good and fresh. We will be back.

Update a year later: The desserts have changed a bit and some menu items may have as well but what hasn’t changed is the taste! Had to stop by twice on this trip. It was very busy one of the nights but it’s worth the wait. The owner is very friendly and cares about her customers. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Delicious! Most innovative Italian I've ever had. The waitstaff is also super friendly!

The prices are what you would expact from a place like this, but the quality and creativity of the food was absolutely worth it.

We were seated quickly then brought our drinks and food after a short wait, despite how busy they were. I ordered the sweet & salty pizza, and was thoroughly impressed by the unique flavor combination. Not only that, but it was large enough that I had leftovers!

I absolutely recommend this place, great stuff.

Very cool, and small Italian restaurant. The small, intimate dining room sets a relaxing atmosphere. The pasta is very good, and you can't go wrong with the specials. The specials menus came around after I already decided when I wanted, and I had to switch to the shrimp scampi. It was delicious, and a great choice! I would definitely go back and try something else.

Great experience. Located in downtown DeLand. Food tasted great. Fresh. Service was exceptional. Chloe was attentive and had great recommendations.

Love this place so much. The owner is amazing and very involved. Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my entire life.

My mother and I were wanting a snack before we went to a show at Athens theater. We were drawn here because of their spinach and artichoke dip. Let me tell you… this was the best spinach and artichoke dip either of us had ever had. It was amazing. We also shared a personal cheese pizza and that was very good as well. I wish we weren’t in such a hurry. We will definitely be back for that dip and more! Our server, Chloe, was very great. She was very accommodating of the fact that we had a time limit and was sweet and attentive. The only thing I’ll say is, it was incredibly hot sitting next to the kitchen. Some more AC back there would be great!
