Tony's New York Pizza

A nice little spot found while traveling in the area. Clean and well lit interior. The wait staff were friendly and informative. Food choices are reasonably priced and generous portions. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area and friends and family.

This little gem of a restaurant located in deland on new york avenue what's great. I brag about it and I will definitely be back. I ordered a slice of stuffed pizza. It was only 350 but it's so huge. I tell everybody they should go there and try that. The waitress was fabulous, the place was clean. It had a nice, authentic Italian Atmosphere.

Tony’s pizza is an iconic restaurant in downtown DeLand right across from the old courthouse, and in front of the artistic buzz of Artisan Alley. Tony’s is a family run Italian restaurant with a feel of the Old Country brought to smalltown America. The pizza is phenomenal! A zesty tomato sauce topped with a thick layer of hot, melted, rich-flavored Mozzarella cheese, topped perhaps with pepperoni or sausage, is possibly the most delicious pizza I have ever put in my mouth. And, believe me, one slice of pizza is enough for the average person’s lunchtime appetite! Similarly, their homemade lasagna is out of this world, comfort-food delicious! Before your main course lasagna, eggplant Parmesan, or spaghetti arrives, your server will bring you a plate of steaming hot rolls drenched with garlic butter and sprinkled heavily with Parmesan cheese. This is a place you do not want to miss while visiting DeLand if Italian food is your thing like it is mine. And if you’ve lived in DeLand, all your life like I have…you already know this is the place to go for lunch or dinner that would make your Italian grandmother proud!

I just love their pizza and they make it just perfectly crispy crust and just exactly the toppings you want that are fresh. The service is awesome and the place is very clean. Actually had an umbrella with me and they gave me a place to put it so it could dry out and not get the floor wet. It’s just a very wonderful place to go eat.

Great pizza! Ordered a slice of pizza with spinach, garlic and mozzarella- it was great! Perfect size at a perfect price! I was shocked that they had excellent pizza by the slice for a few dollars. Service was very good.

Amazing Pepperoni pizza that make tastebuds go crazy. This is the closest your going to get to real New York Pizza in Florida. First tried their pizza over half a decade ago and the taste and quality A1. Worth the drive & worth the wait

Absolutely love this place! The stromboli is hands down the best I have had anywhere else in Florida. Authentic new York sauce flavor.

This is the best pizza and wings experience I have found in DeLand. They are always busy and parking can be a little to figure out at peak times but it’s worth it. Quality NY Pizza, great wings, and they use a high quality ingredients even their Blue Cheese dressing is high quality and a generous potion size. They have other italian fair as well if you are not feeling pizza but that’s my go-to. Only criticisms are they always over estimate the time to pick up, and I like celery and carrots with my wings. They are a true gem of the restaurant community in DeLand, FL.

Stopped in while camping in the area - haven’t been here in years and I glad we stopped in! Amazing veal parmigiana and Italian trio! Fresh salad to start off the meal and very attentive service!

Had dinner with the family and tried a new pizza this time - the Bianca Deluxe - so if you like a “white” pizza you must try this. So yummy!! Quick service and attentive servers in a hometown pizza place. Mmmm

Formerly a resident of New York for over 45 years. Nobody makes pizza in Florida like they did in New York, but I must say, after living in Florida since 2005, Tony's New York pizza is the very best pizza I have had in Florida since I moved here. My only disappointment is that I live 45 minutes away. I guarantee you, whenever I am nearby, I will be eating pizza for dinner that night at Tony's. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking across the street. You might wanna get there early, because there wasn't a table available by the time I was knee deep in pizza. Got ours with extra cheese and meat balls.

Picked up a large cheese, half veg.. wow!! Absolutely delicious. My half (veg side) was LOADED, onion,gr. Pep, mush ,onion, broccoli,spinach,tomatoe,onion blk. Olive.. crust was perfectly crisp.. I'm from Philly hubs from NY, 30 year locals.... well done Yo!!

If you like good food... this is your place. Hearty portions and the food is dynamite. Eggplant parmesan was delicious!! N2m thier pizza is freaking amazing!

Now I know why so many people have positive things to say. Visited for lunch with friends split a couple pies and a stromboli. Delicious and wonderfully smooth service. Do yourself a favor and stop in some time.

This place is really delicious. It's a quant local place in Deland, FL, close to Stetson University and their garlic knots are so delightful. I definitely recommend it. I don't know of any better restaurant in that immediate area.

Just went in here this afternoon around 4:00pm staff was nice, the place looks old, but old like an old school brooklyn pizzeria. Me and my wife just moved to Deland from Brooklyn so we set the standards high when it comes to a pizzeria, so we ordered the 16’ plain pizza pie & Broccoli Fettuccini with Chicken and let me tell you that this place did not disappoint for a first timer, they even included garlic bread with the pasta dish. Price was decent overall great first impression. Will be coming here in the future, I just pray it’s stays consistent, will do a follow up soon…..!!!

Tony's Pizza was delicious. I ordered the Stromboli and my wife ordered the lunch special. Both were delicious. Ordered the family size Stromboli, ate 1/3 and took rest home for supper tonight.
Arrived just after they opened. Choice of seats for dining in. While there several more tables filled up. About half of dine in seating closed due to Covid. Several to go orders were picked up while there. Staff was very friendly.
Only downside, they do not have any to go cups.
Definitely eating there again.
