Half Wall DeLand

We went to this location during bike week so I have to say that did effect my experience but I won’t let it effect my review of this awesome bar! Their staff were very attentive and their beer selection is unmatched by any other bar in this area! We were very pleased with their food offerings, we both got burgers, and were happy with the quality and flavor! I definitely recommend this bar if you are in the area and a beer lover!

We had been to the Half Wall Brewery in New Smyrna Beach and liked it. We tried the DeLand location for lunch. This one is a restaurant and tap room. The brewery operations are in New Smyrna Beach. The beer menu is extensive, but most of the beers on the menu were from elsewhere. Of all that were on draught, there were only a limited number of beers actually brewed by Half Wall. The list looked pretty much the same as the ones we chose from in New Smyrna. We liked the beers we tried but what was best at Half Wall was the food. The Chicken Philly sandwich was as good as you can find anywhere in town. When it came time to pay our bill, the waitress informed us that they could not accept a Discover Card, which was what I wanted to use. A tip for Discover users is to bring cash, like I did. Overall, we left the place with a good impression. We would enjoy visiting Half Wall again, when it's not raining, most likely for lunch, and we better bring cash.

Awesome BURGERS!!! I was brought here by a friend for dinner. She says when she comes out here to visit, this is the place and have their Peanut butter, bacon burger… and I see why. The burger patty itself is one of the best on its own. It’s for me right now #1 for Peanut butter and bacon burger. Loved their version of the Boom Boom shrimp appetizer. Our server was great too. If you want to eat any of their sandwiches or burgers… then come here hungry.

Absolutely lovely. Great area. Quaint old front but roomy inside. Sat at bar had nachos and drinks. Great reasonably priced bloody Mary. Good strong jack and coke. Had a beer flight and didn't love the half wall beers but pretty subjective on that. Very good service. Don't take Discover card.

we ended up here for lunch after other plans fell through, and i am super glad we did! our server was really friendly and patient, advising us on the menu. i got the peanut butter bacon burger and it was great! it was just a tiny bit more pink than i usually like but nothing serious, it still tasted delicious. everyone else enjoyed their dishes as well, and the prices aren’t too bad either.

This restaurant is nice and clean. Located in beautiful, award winning downtown DeLand, FL. The atmosphere is good, even when they get packed. The staff and service is always good. The bartenders are awesome and the cocktails are good. The burgers are really good. We had several things off the menu, and it was all good.

Always enjoyed this place, many beer taps on the wall allowing plenty of choices, food is fantastic (thanks Matt!) Plenty of TV's to watch. Great customer service. It's the historical DeLand Poat Office.
Really can't get a bad meal out of this place, owner is The Breakers in New Smryna Beach which means you'll get one of the best burgers in Volusia county.

Nice place for lunch.
Sandwich and burger plates with cucumber salad were satisfying.
The Mac and cheese comes highly recommended by our three year-old connoisseur.
We enjoyed the lovely art-appreciating spot of DeLand this restaurant is a part of.

a great, long-standing establishment of the DeLand community. it’s casual dining meets sports bar with a large variety of good food and great drink deals. my go-to orders here are either the Teriyaki or Buffalo Tenders served with fries and a side of ranch or the Greek Burger- a juicy burger topped with tzatziki sauce, kalamata olives, and feta cheese, served with fries. i’ve also had the boom-boom shrimp that are super flavorful. i recommend holding onto the sauce to dip your fries! they’re usually quite busy but still manage to maintain quick service and the staff is very nice.

We were meeting friends and this was a favorite spot of theirs. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a busy Saturday, but we got seated quickly. Our server was great, courteous and efficient at his job!! The food was superb! I had the Mahi sandwich and it was awesome!! Definitely coming back again!!

Extensive beer selection. The best burgers . Fried pickle burger for me and Avocado burger for the wife, French fries and cucumber salad. Cant beat this place . Reasonable prices this is a win,win. The barmaid was great. Thanks Half Wall was worth the drive from St A.

I have been going here since I started dating my ex-boyfriend who worked here (6 years ago), and this place is the BOMB. It's always a great time, never ever a bad plate of food. The people who work here want to be here! Although my relationship didn't work out, my deepest love for the Wall has. Please, by all means, you must make this your # 1 in the Deland area. You won't regret it!!

Can't say enough about the food and friendliness of this restaurant. The puppy was served her water first without asking and more staff came out to love on her. Black bean burger and beef burger were delicious and served quickly. The cucumber smash drink is one of the best I ever had.

Fun bar atmosphere though we go for dinner. Beer cheese soup is a must have every time. Like taking the 3 year old grandson as he can be a kid and no one gets bothered.

This a Great find in downtown Deland. You have to find parking, however well worth it. Tons of beer to select from and Huge tap wall. Easy menu and lots of good stuff to choice from. I was a tad dissapointed that their "Hot" wings were not that hot, had to actually get another bowl of hot sauce and drench the wings again. Still very good regardless. Great atmosphere and tons of T.V.S and seating. Great music. Highly recommend.

Very cool place with a big selection of beer, ambience is nice, staff is amazing (the bartender made me the best cocktails), the food is crazy good, the pork wings are amazing! The burger was tasty and well made. I am already planning to come back with friends to try the beers. Amazing job guys, keep it up.

Great little spot in downtown deland. Can be very busy sometimes but the food is on point and the beers ice cold.

***UPDATE! STILL DELICIOUS AND AWESOME! They're no longer serving onion rings but the beer battered cheese curds were great! ***
This place is always sooo good! My hubbie and I are burguer lovers and these are great! Try the Half Wall! The best...also loved the fries and beer battered onion rings. Great selection of draft beers. It wasn't too crowded on Sunday afternoon, but wait time can be up to 50 mins if it's a peak time. So come with patience, it's worth it! Great service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These were some of the best burgers we've had. I had the fried pickle burger and my husband had a black & Bleu. The fries were amazing ! My MIL had three fried Haddock and chips and it was so perfect. The dark and stormy flight was yum! We will definitely make this a regular!
