I want to thank Dawn Marie at the Walgreens on New York Ave in DeLand. Today Dec 8 I went to pick up a prescription for my husband who had scratched his cornea. He's a veteran and normally we would have gone to the VA in Daytona but since he has mild dementia it was easier to take him to urgent care here in DeLand this time. We are some of the customers who were transferred from Winn Dixie pharmacy to Walgreens after Winn Dixie pharmacy closed. Problem is Winn Dixie did not transfer all the needed info for Walgreens for us new customers. So Dawn Marie had to call the VA and get what she needed which wasn't easy today because the gal she talked to was new and wasn't sure what she was doing. But Dawn hung in and got what was needed. Only it ended up this Walgreens didn't have the med in stock but another tech and I'm sure the pharmacist called around and found it at the Walgreens on international speedway and held it til I drove over to get it. So thank you so much Dawn Marie and the others who helped me today. I would have been lost. It's overwhelming enough dealing with someone who has dementia and when someone helps like this it's so appreciated. Thank you thank you thank you.

I am specifically reviewing Dawn, who went above and beyond today for me. Thank you so much for the time you took today to help me, it’s people like you that we need more of in this world today, you are a goddess!!!!

The store was clean and so was the bathroom. Everyone was very helpful in the store.

Lady at register was very nice and helpful

I like Walgreens a lot but their prices are extremely high. I think that's why they are losing business. I shop only that sales that can be worth buying.
The best place about this Walgreens is the pharmacy. Even there the prices are high when compared to other pharmacies but the staff is helpful and the best that Walgreens has to offer.

Common asthma medicine unavailable. Was told it would arrive next day after 1:00. Returned next day only to be told medicine did not arrive. I asked if another store had medicine and was told, “I would have to call to find out. “ Good customer service would be, “I will call and find out.” This is my third less than satisfactory experience, and last, at this Walgreens. Never, have I had such poor experiences at a Walgreen’s!

Went in for a flu shot today. Was supposed to be administered by peter and he was aware of it. He apparently just left without saying anything so i sat there until i finally said something. The rest of the staff was polite and apologetic. When he left he walked right by me didn't say a word. Really thought he was getting the shot prepared. He was rude to his coworkers from what o could see. Peter needs to go to work for the irs.

The pharmacist makes inappropriate comments, comes extremely close to breaking privacy laws, tries to involve herself in matters that don't concern her or her job. My opinion is that she behaves as if she a doctor and continually oversteps boundaries.

Pathetically incompetent staff here with one exception : Sandy is great, above and beyond.

I tried to do the same day photos the said it would be ready at 1115 however it's now 1 in the afternoon and they said it might not be ready until tomorrow
Well If that's the case then maybe just maybe you should take it Off of the sameday pick up
Completely ridiculous and instead of giving me an exact time they just want to refund my money um no I want what I payed for. I ordered it at 9 this morning there is no reason why it cannot be done before 5 this evening. Unless someone didn't do their job and turn on the printer this morning. I.used to work for Walgreens and if you dont turn on the printer it takes all day to print. Literally will never order from them again yall save your money

The pharmacy staff and the store manager were extremely rude in person and on the phone. I have never been talked to like that, even from my ex-wife. The worst in store and phone experience I have ever had in 53 years

Drive Thur is very very slow. It’s a long line every time you go to pick up medication. You have to sit on line for about 10 minutes everyone. Something has to give about how slow they are moving. They are very nice here but move like a snail 🐌

I went to this store today because it's the closest to my house, but I'm not going back. They gave me very bad service both in the prescription pick up area and also in the photography department, the employee was very rude.

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. If you take any meds that are life saving definitely pick a different pharmacy!

terrible, called up walgreens, across the street from me, temp closed, cs doesn't even show me that they have a store here, unbelievable

It's very embarrassing and degrading knowing thatWalgreens is involved in anything to do with medicine
