VERY IMPORTANT MUST READ! Today, I had lunch for the first time, Tiffany served me with Excellent Service, which was perfect with the very clean & welcoming atmosphere. I said Tiffany, pick a "Wow Lunch Entree," she was a bit nervous as the pressure was on her for it to be a good choice. The Cuban Churrasco steak was grilled & seasoned to perfection! My sides were yuca con mojo & yellow rice with black beans. EXCELLENT, served hot, tasty, & a very filling portion!

1pm we had a reservation for 10. Only 1 waitress. Manager just watched as the place filled up, and did nothing to help her. We got a few drinks and waited until 1:20 for everyone to arrive. The waitress never finished getting everyone’s drinks. She proceeded to take care of every small table. Then at 1;45 she took our orders. She never got help from the manager.
Our meals were perfect and delicious.
Got ready to leave and last app appeared so the women took it home.
Prices were very reasonable.
Music was very loud even when asked to turn it down.
Won’t return with that many people.

Super Friendly Staff. Food was awesome. We had the Yucca Balls, Empanadas, The Ultimate Loaded and A Huge Salad. The Margaritas were perfect. The Lounge is a great atmosphere as well.

Passed by this place numerous times without stopping. I always thought maybe it would be a bit too foofy or pretentious, but surprise, surprise, it definitely wasn't. You gotta check them out. They've got fantastic food, service, prices, and atmosphere! It was raining the day that my guest and I went, which was fine with covered outside seating. It was early/mid morning, and I was in the mood for breakfast, so I ordered the steak and eggs. It was awesome, awesome! Very flavorful and tender. The whole plate was great (and very reasonably priced as well!) I washed it down with a fantastic Cafe con Leche. We'll definitely be back.

We had brunch yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious and definitely hit the spot. Our server Nina was lovely and recommended the Churrasco and eggs and it was incredible! The steak was very tender and flavorful and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Overall, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy. 10/10 definitely will be coming back!

To be quite honest, I have to say that our plans were not to eat at this restaurant but the rain left us no other choice. Also, coming from Miami where there are so many good Cuban restaurants, I didn't imagine this restaurant in the small town of Deland, Fl was going to be good but the truth is that this restaurant surprised me. Very good Cuban food. The churrasco was at its point, the yucca very rich and the delicious avocado. Nice croquetas. The atmosphere is very cool and the service is excellent. Totally surprised by Chicas Cuban Cafe. Bravo to the chef. Looking forward to bring my Cuban husband next time. See you soon.

The food was incredibly good! Tastes like homemade like someone in the kitchen actually cares about good food. I've only been to Deland a few times and I believe this will be my new default place there when I don't feel like exploring new restaurants. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest giving this place a try. Great family atmosphere and the service people were friendly and very accommodating to our request and questions.

This was our 1st time here and the atmosphere was nice and calm. Even tho they were busy we were seated quickly. Our waitress was Ana and she was very nice. She asked to place our kids order 1st and made sure we had what we needed. Very nice over all

Chica's has it all going on to satisfy a foodies appetite! :) From their delicious generous meal portions and great value in price. My husband and I both enjoyed our entries and smoothies. We wish we could have ate more as the menu offers so many delicious options to choose from. Our waitress Vanessa was lovely and very attentive. We are looking forward to coming back here again next time we're in the area.

My entire family really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Food had plenty of authentic flavor and prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to try different items on the menu.

We had a great lunch here after our bike ride on the nearby Lake Beresford Bike Trail. It was busy, but our order was taken quickly. We didn’t feel rushed by the server. Food came out pretty quickly. Hot & big portions. I had the Cuban sandwich, it was very good! The fries were really good too.

Ordered their vegan mini empanadas while we waited for our to-go order - delicious - both empanadas and the sauce - so good!! I ordered the vegan onion burger. Nice change from the standard vegan burger!! We sat outside. Love the happy, small downtown vibe! Will be back literally every time we are in DeLand!!

Chico’s is consistently delicious. The service is friendly, the music creates a beautiful ambiance and they have the best Cuban I have had! The bartenders at rhe Artisan lounge are awesome as well!

We had a great time tonight at Chicas! All of the staff seemed on top of everything and our server Nina was absolutely wonderful. She recommended the shrimp and churrasco and it was delicious! We will definitely be back for more

PERFECT 18th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! Another reviewer said it best in his MUST READ review. Today we also had lunch here for the first time. Based on that reviewer’s recommendation, we ordered The Cuban Churrasco steak which really was grilled & seasoned to perfection as he stated. Our sides were yuca frita and moros cristianos. EXCELLENT, served hot, tasty, & a very filling portion! Michael served us with Excellent Service, and the atmosphere on the patio was very cozy.

As a Cuban dude it’s my mission to find all the Cuban spots no matter where I go. I was really pleased with this place. The yuca delta was excellent and the pollo a la plancha was great. Finished it off with a flan and that was also great. If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely be back.

Can't get enough of this place! The food and hospitality are second to none and not going to break the bank! Unreal Cuban steak + ceviche + Cuban sandwiches and top it off with a great bar...bartender Emilio is a master of his craft! We'll be back again next year for Bike Week! Well done Chicas Team 🏆🙏🙌👏

Finally, Not salty, but flavorful. I love Cuban food, but lately salt 🧂 is the main ingredient. Highly recommended.

The food here is delicious and the service is awesome. Our server Allison was amazing, she helped us figure out what the menu items were and gave us great recommendations. She was so sweet to our young girls. The food is great and the portions are large. Definitely recommend trying this place out.
