Tropicana Lanes

I used to bowl at Tropicana often when I was younger. This was my first visit after 35 years! This bowling alley has been beautifully maintained and upgraded. I do miss all of the pinball machines though 😂

Bowled 4 games alone, paid $5 a game on a Winter Sunday evening. Had a great time at this clean center which had a nice layout of 50 lanes, split 25 lanes each side of the house. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Used a house ball just the right size for me. Shoes were comfortable. I had my side of the house mostly to myself, probably because of COVID times. There was a cafeteria open from which I ordered a few mixed drinks but no food. The bar area looked really nice and cool with neon lights and pool tables, but unfortunately it wasn’t open.

Came here with family for a Christmas Party. The environment is a bowling alley so you really can't mess that up lol

I hosted a 10 year old birthday party at this location on a Sunday morning. It was pretty empty so we had lots of room to spread out. The staff Mr Tom and Mr Willie were extremely helpful!. The kids enjoyed the pizza and the lemonade and the arcade area. Would definitely host/recommend a party here again!

I can't believe that my son gets to bowl for free all summer long! This is just another great attribute for living in St Louis! Thank you Tropicana Lanes for being a part of kids bowl free. Amazing bowling lanes and a great staff I think my son is gone 5 times already and it's impacted his love for bowling not to mention given he and his dad another past time to enjoy together🙌

Went bowling for the 1st time in (58yrs) of living and, I totally enjoyed myself! The staff were friendly and the pizza was off the hook! 🤗🤗🤗

Great prices and so many lanes. It’s a large alley, so you have room to bowl and spread out.

Great bowling rates and STL style pizza and no reservations required! Loved it!

I had a great time food and drinks was good as well.

Nash was wonderful handling our large group when we showed up! Everything was seamless and he handled all our lane requests, shoe size switches, etc. And the ladies working the cafeteria were kind and quick getting our pizzas out. We will be back!

Lots of lanes and some pool tables they have a bar and surf food. Early birds get a great deal.

Great staff. New owner is cleaning the place up nicely. Hop in and grab a drink and bowl some games. Best bowling alley in the Midwest!!! Cleanest bowling alley you will ever step foot in!
Update: 5 years later....New owner is keeping the place clean and nice still!!!

Everything was great . My whole family had a blast

Great bowling alley. There are several lanes, 26 I believe on each side of the building. You can also play pool there and there is lots of arcade games to play. Good bar food is available for purchase at a good price. They offer several discounts for groups. In the summer you can sign up for their summer bowling for free for kids. All you have to pay for is the shoe rentals. It's also a great place to have a birthday party. Parking is plentiful and free. I find the staff friendly and helpful, they on top of all that offer glow in the dark bowling!!!!

It was nice. Kind of crowded. The lane next to us had small children so the manager came down and asked if we wanted to move down a lane. $35 for an hour. The drinks were good. No complaints

Same old Tropicana from when I was little. Got there right at 10pm for that neon bowling stuff. It messes with your eyes if you're not used to all that. Finding a ball with the right fingers and weight was the most difficult part. We shared lane space with a large group. Sometimes it's harder to enjoy yourself in a first date when there are so many outside elements around. Anyway, clean bathrooms and fast service. We gotta lane in 10 minutes.

Family time here was awesome! Great staff! Everything was clean.
