Woodlands Camping Resort

If you are looking for family atmosphere this is the place!! The owners Arron and Shelly will treat you like family from the second you arrive. And their head of facilities Jack is your favorite uncle. There will be family activities on the weekends, kids everywhere, beautiful pond with great fishing the list goes on. Make it a must stop if you’re in the area!

Nice place. Ellen is most the wonderful helpful person. A wonderful soul. She helped us at the last minute as well as making us feel at home. More than a lot of places and people would have never done for a stranger. Bathrooms were nice, kept up with, hot water, camp grounds were clean. Vary recommend while you're out with the kids. Few campers were their, we brought a tent, had a fire, did some fishing, little hiking. Will be coming back the next time we're down here.

Very helpful and considerate staff. Lots of amenities. We prefer lakeside settings but they did have a water feature that was nice. Dog friendly.

Very nice accomodations, I highly recommend. My tent camping trip was from 6/30 - 07/03. The pads are adequately spaced with a table and fire ring. Very friendly Patons and Staff. Bath house is very clean with hot water. We were unable to stay our final night, however I would definitely enjoy another get away at the Resort. The only deterrent is the lack of connectivity/wifi for the young campers.

Overall clean and well maintained, overflow site was level( goes along way) pond area was clean and well kept. The pool also clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be back

A very clean and nice resort with a beautiful swimming pool and playground for the children. The staff was very helpful and nice. Our site was level and clean at the edge of the woods. We stayed a week and are planning on staying again next year.

We stayed here for 5 months total waiting for our house to be built and we honestly loved it. We don’t have a single complaint! We met people that are seasonal campers there and have made friends with them and they’ve asked us to come back and camp to visit! Very nice place and the staff is very friendly. Nick was always able to answer our questions and they accommodated us longer then we originally planned because we had delays with our settlement. Even last minute they were willing to accommodate us another month if needed. Very welcoming, clean, and safe environment. Us our kids and dog enjoyed our stay and we’ve made friends along the way. Thank you woodlands!!!!

Not sure how it is now but I grew up here as a second home plenty of great memories made by the fire at site 101 have no clue what it is like now but when Linda and Blaine were mangers they were the best and turned mud roads into a wonderful place to be , as for the complaints for tent sites you are camping it’s always favor seasonal which I enjoy very much but they do welcome everyone!!! Forever a fond memory

Adorable little campground with a cute little fishing pond and updated playground. Pool wasn't open yet but looked nice and big! Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway!

I’m a %100 believer that you get what you give. If your a friendly and nice person the people are going to treat you like family here. Me and my family are staying here as workers on a full hookup site and they are beautiful sites. The seasonal people are what made this place so personable and nice, from offering us help with things or just being nice and helpful. I have never meet so many wonderful, helpful and friendly people at a campground. I have not meet the owners but I hope they know how wonderful this campground really is. The first person that greeted us and helped us out at our campsite is a man Jack(so if you get the pleasure of meeting Jack please be nice to him). Jack definitely goes above and beyond for this campground more than any place I have ever traveled to even on his own personal time, we will always be thankful for everything Jack has done here for me and my family. I’m desperately going to miss this place and hope we get work in the area again or that we can come for vacation. Me and my boys love walking around the pound, fishing and playing at the playgrounds . Halloween here was the best Halloween that we have had in a very long time. Woodlands has won our hearts over and it’s going to be a very long drive back home to Ohio. Going to miss all the woodland campers we meet. Sincerely, site 107 :-)

Rented cabin 1 with 2 teenage girls. Tiny cabin but had space for everyone. Great campground. Fishing pond is perfect. Super friendly workers and other campers. Can see cabin and pond on my youtube channel . Eagles trekker. We will be back

Love that our Veterans are honored here!!! Super nice place, well kept, beautiful yards at the seasonal spots. Really nice people. The pond is awesome with picnic tables and benches. The pool is huge and very clean!! Loved this place!! Thank you to all the veterans that keep this place so nice and for your service!

We're staying the weekend and do far everything has been really nice. This is a quiet laid back easy going campground. The sites are nice, people are friendly. Everything is clean and well kept.

The pond is very nice to relax my family loved it. It's especially beautiful right now because of the leaves falling.
I wanna go back next fall and use the huge fire pit by the pond.

This is by far the best park I've been to. Right now we're getting ready for Christmas in July. The amenities here are wonderful, ranging from an in ground pool, very nice playground, stocked fishing pond, and beautiful trails to walk, to lots of fun weekend activities. Most of the people here are full timers but the park is very well kept, and everyone is so friendly an hospitable. This is somewhere you want to be long term. It's a very enjoyable place to be and the monthly rates and very reasonable.

Just camped here for the weekend. We camped in a tent close to the pond. It was perfect. We have two toddlers and a dog. It also rained the first night, but we still had a blast. Fishing tournament was fun for all ages. Nice playground, big pool, volleyball net, basketball court, trails through the woods, very clean, large bath house, pavillion with bingo night and other activities. We will definitely be returning.

Great family campground. Very relaxed. They had a pool, playground, lake, and camp activities. There are a lot of permanent sites all decorated in its own theme. They were very pretty. People were very friendly.

A great place to get away for a weekend! The pool looks brand new and the pond is huge. I've seen complaints about no wifi or cable but if you're camping do you really need that stuff? Would recommend visiting and will be back again!
