What a beautiful area! We go to Terrapin Nature Park often, and this park is very similar but on a larger scale. It is very well marked with multiple paths. Everything was fairly flat except the pond trail, which had some small elevation changes. Regardless, it was still easy enough for dogs and children. In almost all the muddy areas, there was either a small wooden bridge or planks to walk over. We also crossed several fishing spots.

We came early on a Sunday morning in April and paid a $6 fee to enter, which we were able to pay with cash or card. I think their website indicates an additional entrance fee between Memorial and Labor Days so plan accordingly.

I absolutely love this park. It has a nice beach, lots of trails, bathrooms, changing room, foot shower, play area, handicap parking, wooded beach pads and the view was gorgeous.

We went on a Monday with scattered showers forecast. Parking is free on weekdays. We were the only ones on the beach besides 1 guy fishing. The sand was nice and soft, with 2 main beach areas. We saw a few small jellyfish, a crane, a large blue crab the fisherman had caught and a few other bug size sea life critters. Water was warm (end of August) and we were told fishing folks would see a nice surge in September and October in this area. Overall very nice free park with multiple trails, clean beaches, and port-a-potties available.

Very beautiful but small beach. The water is not that deep, which is perfect for kids of all ages to have a good time. Just make sure to go online and get a reservation. They may sell out. Great place to enjoy a small beach trip without the fear of the deep water. Must go again.

Went walking today on a cloudy day. What a delightful park. Trails were well marked and very well maintained with narrow board walks through the muddy parts. Walked around the pond and down to the beach. Delightful. Dog friendly also. We saw a box turtle and deer.

Very nice nature park with lots of trails. The entrance fee was only 6 dollars and the facilities are well maintained. There are a few designated places to go fishing, which can be seen on the map near the trailhead. The trails do get a bit muddy after rainfall, but they are generally still passable.

Lovely trails through woodland along the bay with beach area. Relatively handicap friendly as you can drive someone down to the beach and drop off. Then a short distance to beach. Can't park near beach. Fishing pond with trails as well.

Free park with a mile of beaches. Lots of mostly flat walking trails. Can launch kayak/sup from beach. Nice you can drive to beach to load and unload kayaks. Can wade in water. Not supposed to swim but many still do. Sometimes no swimming is enforced. Close paddle to mayo beach. There are rock breakers that protect the water but it is near very open water so still can get rough. Parking is in field then walk 1/4 mile to beach. Park Rangers are strict with alcohol so don't drink or hide or could get fined. Lots of good fishing spots too. Not much shade bring canopy or umbrella in summer.

We just love this hidden gem of a beach! Although it is not a super wide beach, it is just perfect for a quick getaway. The shallow water is great for kids and the waves are usually not too crazy. The amenities aren’t as great as some other beaches but for free entry and parking we think it’s well worth it!

Love this park! Trails are well maintained and you are guaranteed to run into the park rangers surveying and keeping things tip top on any given visit. Many spots to fish or just relax. Lots of sandy shoreline with much driftwood. Dogs are allowed, but please respect the lease rule for everyone's and dogs safety. Spotted dear, snakes, osprey, vultures and herons on our visits.

Wonderful hidden gem on the Eastern Shore. The beach is small but it is easily accessible from the parking lot. You can swim, watch the Ospreys hunt for fish, or simply relax.

This place is huge. Make sure you have a map or gps. There is a lot of areas for fun activities, weather it's jogging in the woods, fishing, or kayaking the Chesapeake. The trails may flood at time so wear good boots or avoid after a heavy rain. There is nothing like getting in touch with nature, and there is no shortage here.

We live down the street and prefer this beach over the others in the community. It's quiet and peaceful. There usually aren't a lot of people there and that's why we like it. When the tide is out, you can walk out pretty far and find some weird things (I once found 25 golf balls!). I hope nothing is done to change this area, as that would ruin what it stands for. Nature. Peace. Happiness.

Great trails--well maintained and really varied for how small the park is!! Watching kite surfers at the beach was a fun pause during our run!! Would highly recommend it!

The most amazing views! The trail is perfectly suited for light trail running as they mix great views and light terrain. Watch out for the mud after a rain shower. Overall a hidden gem in Annapolis!

The bay has swimming areas in the summer. Beautiful walking trails along a pond. All types of birds and lovely scenery. One of my favorite parks.

They just added a toll booth and nice bathrooms. In state fee I believe is $6 - however if you have an Anne Arundel Co Parks and Rec sticker (one you use for quiet waters too) you can get in for free.

Horseflies are terrible in the summertime 🤣

Gorgeous park! They’re doing restorations everywhere - really taking care of the natural environment. Parking was easy and there is tons of it, the beach is lovely even on a breezy, rainy fall day. It takes a little over an hour to walk basically all the trails in the park by the beachfront and around the pond. Beautiful fall colors and vistas in October! Definitely would recommend if in the Edgewater area. Facilities are also all brand new and clean.

This is a beautiful little park with a beach. There was a decent sized parking lot for about 10 cars and about 4-5 picnic tables in the wooded area. The beach is about a 2 minute walk but it’s lovely! Saw some friendly people walking dogs, playing with kids, and doing scavenger hunts - not too crowded.
