I can not express enough, the warm and inviting atmosphere the staff create in this office! To start, the ladies who run the front office are always so kind and helpful with everything going on. Even when things are absolute chaos, they still take the time to help every patient with a smile and courtesy. The phones are answered promptly and they are always so polite! My daughter sees them, and they are always so friendly and supportive of her needs. I had Dr. Small when I was a teenager also back in ‘07, so when my daughter needed braces this office was my top choice. The Orthodontists in the office are always so nice and take the time to listen to any troubles or complaints. Absolutely great office! I give them a 11/10, and recommend them to everyone!

Such an amazing experience with my son Nicholas Campbell's journey with braces! Everyone is extremely friendly and easy to work with when it comes to scheduling or rescheduling appointments. Wonderful communication and reminders of upcoming appointments. Thanks so much for doing so great on my son's teeth!!!

I honestly cannot picture a better orthodontic practice and I’ve closed my eyes and tried. The atmosphere is super inviting. The staff are incredibly helpful. The process is smooth. I drive from Asheville every visit and it’s totally worth it. Highly highly recommend. Dr Piers is in a league of his own.

I went to Dr.Small when I had braces 20 years ago. So when my daughter had to have braces I knew who I was going to take her to because I had such a great experience when I had braces. Staff are so friendly and it’s a very friendly environment. They did a wonderful job with my daughter teeth!

My daughter and I have relationship with this office since she was 4 years old! They're very caring, easy to work with and have great employees! My daughter loves them and we've had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. Even when I've been a few mins late they were understanding. They are very informative and help guide you through your options so you kind find what works best for you or your children. My daughter's had her braces now for almost a year and I highly recommend these guys and their facility!

We love small and piers!!! Everyone is always so helpful at every visit. My son has had braces with them for 3 years. Anytime he had a break they were quick to get him in. Highly recommend.

The workers are funny and are patient they have great work time and when I got my braces it was easy and my teeth did not even hurt the day I got them 5⭐

They've been taking care of us for about six months now, and we couldn't be happier with the results. I’ve been a dental assistant for 10 years and my daughter has always had the biggest anxiety even with me as her assistant. Everyone has been very kind to us and will definitely recommend any of my patients to seek treatment here. Thank you guys for being so good to my child.

Hickory office has been so good to my Autistic son. They have been patient with him and Dr Smalls is phenomenal and so kind. His hygienist Angie needs a raise!!!!! We love this place and we will miss them so much.
