Strange Donuts

This quaint and vibrant bakery makes me smile. They have a vegan donut fyi! And I got a mix of 6 different ones - all delicious. Totally worth it! Friendly service too!

Strange Donuts is a wonderful donut shop! I have been going there for years since they first opened and they have only gotten better over the years! They are a fun, caring place and I love their dones! Especially their Stranger, like the one in the picture, that involves a collaboration with other local restaurants! These guys are amazing! Definitely go here!

Always love seeing what new flavors they have. The Dunkaroo done was exactly what I hoped for! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Get there early if you don't want to miss a flavor!

The kids working the counter was super nice and helpful. The donuts were great, particularly the glazed one. The cake donuts were just a little bit on the dry side but I'm willing to attribute that to us arriving later in the morning.

The gooey butter cake donuts were a standout for me.

Get a coffee to go with it. They are very sweet.

I always love coming here, their donut flavors are all so good and never feel too heavy for me. I wish there was a daily menu on their website to show which flavors were available that day, but I'm honestly never disappointed when I go in.

Ordered the vanilla and gooey butter cake doughnuts. Great doughnuts with coffee. Thick & not overly sweet. I will be back.

We stopped here last month after visiting my wife's cousin in Florissant, and the donuts are amazing! I had the Maple Bacon which had the perfect mix of salty and sweet. My wife and our daughters shared the Butterfinger one, which they loved! I tried a bite and it was delicious. Keep up the great work!

Heard good things about Strange Donuts so the family and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Maple-Bacon Donut. It was delicious. It was such a yummy, 'breakfast-like,' cakey, sweet, salty, fantastic donut. It felt like eating pancakes with syrup and bacon with a donut altogether! Can't wait to come back and try another sometime.

Their unique flavors are the best kind of donuts! And they are always so moist and fresh even if we pick them up at 11pm. We recommend gooey butter but always try the special, so far we have never been disappointed.

Wonderful donuts in a variety of interesting flavors. The staff in the evening is super friendly and informative and you can tell they have an interest in their trade. I enjoy the cleverness of the donut ingredients and the clothing with donut themes. Save room after eating in the area and stop by here for dessert.

Updating my review based on the new dough recipes they're using (changed in fall of 2019). My one complaint for Strange was their base dough, which didn't do justice to their creative toppings and spirit. The updated dough is excellent and competitive with any other bakery in the area. I've always loved their attitude and concept and I will now be going there regularly. Great work guys!

So GOOD and FRESH! I don’t typically get creative when it comes to donuts so it took me awhile to try. When I read the owners story and how it all came to be, I wanted to support the local business. Awesome business to support and great tasting donuts. Even the “strange” combinations will surprise you with how well the flavors go together. Very quick service too.

They often have new flavors, but they go fast in the mornings! Their staff seems to be just as fun as their donuts, so be sure to checkout their social media! (Maybe not for you if you’re a Karen)

I was worried about going here after seeing a few of the bad reviews on Google, but after checking them out for myself I had to leave a great review. I went to Strange Donuts with my girlfriend around 10:30 on a Saturday halfway expecting the donuts to be dry since they were close-ish to closing time, but they were very fresh and very good. The staff was also very friendly and went out of their way to make both of us feel welcome. We will definitely check them out again for some strange flavors!

Have heard that this place had some good donuts. Well I found out how good they are, at least the one I tried, blueberry cheesecake. First off WOW!!! It was awesome. Great texture and sweet sweet flavor packed into a delicious gift from the donut Gods themselves. Highly recommend this place.

Strange Donuts is one of my favorite places in town.The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, even when the line is crazy, which it usually always is, at least late at night when I go. Every time I've gone the donuts have been fresh and delicious and I've never been disappointed. I've taken friends form out of town here and they loved it as well. I am not sure where everyone else seems to be going. I love this place!

Walked here from my apartment, waited in line for 10 minutes (only 1 person/couple in the store at a time for social distance) 3 donuts and 2 nitro coffees for under 10 bucks. Awesome experience. My only gripe is that there should be a bigger size for the coffee for us caffeine addicts. Love this place!

Strange but cute little shop in Maplewood that has friendly staff and vegan donuts on the weekends! Wish they had them all week long! I stop by here as often as I can for a fresh tasty donut (or a dozen). Their vegan chocolate long johns are nothing short of amazing. The vegan donuts run out fast so call them before heading over (they may not have any left).

These donuts are so good!!! They change out the strange flavors and every time I go in I basically get one of everything and even the strangest ones that sound like they wouldn't be good (ie gushers) is always amazing! It's nothing fancy inside but the donuts are the star of the show anyways! Worth a try...it won't be your last time!
