Great experience and fantastic staff who are very laid back and knowledgeable. I ordered a Felt IAX and the whole process couldn’t have been easier (and to my excitement quick). Not only was I kept in the loop during the whole process and received quick responses to questions, but when the time came to pick up my new bike Frank and Matt really went above and beyond to make sure the fit was perfect and that I understood everything about the bike before I left. Will definitely be back and be recommending them to my friends and members of my triathlon club. Even if you don’t live in the area like myself, the quality of service is worth the trip.

In this place they have always solved the problems I have had with my bicycles, on my last visit they helped me with my Stumpjumper evo; fix the brakes and make tubeless and all in less than an hour of work which impressed me (in other bicycle shops they told me that they needed at least two weeks to be able to do that work, in conclusion, if you want quality work, friendly, with a short waiting time and at a good price, do not hesitate to come with Beer City Bicycles. Great shop. I was only in town for a few days & had a brake issue. Frank fixed it overnight. Super friendly & super helpful. Saved my trip. Incidentally ran into cyclists at the Charlotte airport on the way home and they raved about the shop & service (One had a Beer City Bicycles shirt on). Highly recommend stopping if you are in Asheville.

They are quick and professional! I dropped my bike off on a Sunday basically ant closing time and by Monday afternoon it was fixed. I had called other places and they all had a couple week wait to just look at the issue, not even fix it. I’m glad I found these guys and will absolutely be back for any bicycle issues in the future! Frank at Beer City Bicycles did a great job with my ride this week. Upgraded my brakes and replaced my worn dropper with a great choice. This shop goes above and beyond- he must have marked the locations of everything he replaced or had to move because I can’t tell yet if I’ll need to tweak my levers and seat!

I live close to Beer City Bicycles and I needed an inner tube replaced on my bike. So I thought I’d try them out. WOW! Am I glad I stopped by! Excellent repair service by knowledgeable and professional guy. While I was waiting for my tire I looked around the shop. (I was also able to get a can of my favorite brew at a really cheap price!) I noticed some mountain bikes that were for sale. The rest is history. I returned the next day and purchased two bikes, water bottle holders, helmets and a bike rack. Cannot believe the customer service! So friendly and knowledgeable! Gave me a deal since I bought several things. I highly recommend you support this local business! They are outstanding!

Frank & Matthew are both great, no nonsense bike guys. Frank sells bikes at more than competitive prices and service is exceptional.

My teen's old Trek bike. Purchased at The Bicycle Thrift Shop several years ago. Ridden infrequently, a little sad, a little rusty, and in need of new tires. AVL Trek store said not worth it, we'll show you new bikes. Frank at Beer City Bicycles said totally worth it! New tires, new tubes, and a scrub down put us back on the bike! Have always gotten great service at Beer City Bicycles.

Frank and his team at Beer City Bikes is that shop that you can feel safe walking into in that they have NEVER EVER tried to "up-sell" us when we need to come in to have our bikes serviced. Beer City Bikes has serviced our cyclocross, our mountain bikes and our road bikes for years and have done so with sincerity, talent and an excellent value. Yes, we have purchased clothing, gear and a trainer (Love my Wahoo!) and yet, NEVER has Frank or his team put any pressure on us to buy anything more than what we came in for.

Stopped by to see if I could get thicker tires. So helpful, knowledgeable, quick and kind. Definitely recommend!

Came in for a problem in the bike I bought from them 2 years ago. They treat you like your their best friend! Great service and prices...... And..... They have beer!! Life is good!!

I was in town for bike event and traveled from Florida only to have forgotten my through axel for my bike in a car that was transferred to another . The service and help I was given was top notch . Frank went out of his way to assist and was able to remove one from a new bike that fit mine . I thought my whole weekend was over but the day was saved . Thank you very much and do not hesitate to use this bike shop when you are in town !! A+++

I've been coming to this shop for over a year now and there have been no issues. Bought a good road bike from here back in 2021. It was a great deal and they give free lifetime tune-ups for every bike they sell. Not only do they fix any issues I have, they give pointers on how to keep my bike in good shape. I even brought my cheap 90s mountain bike in for some work and they treated it with the same respect as my road bike. This is one of the only shops where I've never felt like I was being upsold. Every time I get my bike back from them, it runs like new.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Special shout-out to Frank. He's been one of the major reasons why I haven't had the desire to take my business anywhere else.

This place is awesome. We called while driving through from NY to TN needing some new tires and the owner patiently walked through their inventory on the phone, committed to help and then two hours later when we pulled in, graciously fit us in to get new tires and a safety check done before we hit the road again. Bonus the husband and I split a beer at their bar while waiting. These guys know their stuff and were just great. Super helpful and friendly LBS. highly recommend.
