Geraldine's Bakery

Absolutely impressed! I ordered rainbow cookies (Italian pastries) because I haven’t had them in a really long time and I was trying to find a bakery that makes them in the Asheville/Arden area. I called around to several places and come to find out Geraldine Bakery does make them. You just have to order them ahead of time. These guys knocked it out the park!!! The consistency of these cookies is what I was looking for. They taste EXACTLY like the rainbow cookies I get in New Jersey and in New York. Job well done!

Also want to thank Lily, she was very nice over the phone and also was accommodating. I was running late to get my order and she still told me they would wait for me to come pick it up. Got there right at closing time.

Thanks again guys. I will be back to order more in the future.

Best strawberry donuts ever!! Chewy and soft! Donuts are definitely a popular item as there were little left on a Saturday morning. The raspberry cheesecake was very good as well. Sugar cookies were ok. Fruit danish was excellent.
Definitely a must visit for donuts and cheesecake and danishes!

My wife found this gem by googling around. Not much on atmosphere, few seats inside, a couple picnic tables outside, but we went for the food. And we were not disappointed!

The food was fantastic. We bought a couple of sandwich croissants, a pastry, chocolate croissant, eclair, and a huge cookie! Each thing was perfect.

The service was great as well. They were busy, but quick and polite and kind! Hard to do.

Don’t miss this stop for treats. Great old fashioned bakery. They have a long list of restaurants that’s sell their food as part of the menu.

We had already eaten breakfast but this was a stop for my wife who had ordered a bunch of rugalach. If you're not familiar with this baked treat, picture a sweet rolled pastry with chocolate or apricot or raspberry. And a unique flavor I've never seen before - and I've eaten a ton of these treats - lemon curd. What? Yes!

Friendly service and it's a good thing we had already eaten because there are cookies and danish and all kinds of other carb-heavy delicious baked goods here.

The rugalach survived the journey home and did not even last 48 hours in the house. Mrs. K. said they were excellent.

Fantastic homemade donuts! One of the better Boston Cream donuts we’ve had outside of Boston. The specialty donut with the raspberry jelly filling was so good it didn’t last long enough for a picture. Breakfast sandwiches are also tasty.

Great local bakery! The service is always excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bagels are superior to most in the WNC region. Great spot for a breakfast sandwich & excellent donuts and pastry.

I tried the Fritzer, which is a cross between a doughnut and croissant. This Fritzer is very similar to a cronut made famous by Dominique Ansel's Bakery in NYC. The texture was very soft in the middle and sugary sweet on the outside. Good place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and pastry while sitting outside in their yard taken in the scenic, mountain view nearby. They're also in walking distance to downtown.

The person behind the counter was amazingly kind and helpful, Thank heavens she was patient, because choosing what delicious treats we wanted was quite the task. The selection was extensive. Everything we had was delicious. Head to Geraldine's to satisfy your desire for decadent treats!

Great donuts. Great selection. Fresh. Some items are a bit pricey but the sizes are pretty massive so it really equals out.

My mom surprised me with a custom Harry Potter cake from here and I absolutely love it! It looked amazing and tasted great! It was three layers, the icing and everything tasted delicious. Highly recommend!

I’m drunk on the Bakers bars from Geraldine‘s. When I was a kid, I used to go to Rollin’ Pin bakery, just about the last stop before Beaver Lake. My dad would get us what was called a fig bar. It is the same thing, as the chef moved over from Rollin’ Pin. I truly have a problem, these things are so amazing. The breakfast croissants are great as well. Thank you for rekindling a childhood tradition, and for enabling my gluttonous ways. A neighborhood bakery is a thing of beauty.

On Sunday we Ordered a 10-inch carrot cake for a Wednesday birthday party. It was delicious and beautiful. A lot of the guests said it was the best carrot cake they’d ever had.

Eclairs and covered wagons :) Everything here is awesome except the donuts, but they are still good.

Great savory and sweet pastries, bagel sandwiches, cookies, cakes etc. Always friendly service. RJ is a rockstar!

Their burger buns make my business, Bonham's Burgers Asheville better than it could be.

I had one of the breakfast sandwiches and it was the most amazing thing ever! The pastries and coffee are delicious as well and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast to start off a good road trip!

So happy to find this place during our quick stay in Asheville!! So far we’ve tried the breakfast croissants (amazingggg), cheese danish and chocolate donut. All fabulous. Planning on stopping by again soon to try more of the sweets!! Very kind staff as well.

Phenomenal place. Great pastries and amazing bagel breakfast sandwiches. Its super busy but the service is fast. Im impressed by the quality and fresh ingredients.

Boston creme donuts to die for! Maple with bacon was amazing too! Best donuts in Asheville 😘
