Fox Dental Associates - Asheville, NC

I've been a patient here for five years and really love this practice. I really want to keep my natural teeth until death--no dentures please! I was grinding my teeth at night while sleeping, and Dr. Fox fitted a mouth guard that is going to preserve my teeth (which can crack under the pressure!). He did a very careful job of adjusting my bite to prepare for a good fit. The hygienist, Elizabeth, does a gentle but thorough job with cleanings. She really shows that she cares about patient comfort. I appreciate the treatment I've been receiving here!

Very nice, friendly folks at Fox Dental. Although, going to the dentist isn’t always fun - it’s helpful to go to a place where they are thorough, caring, and friendly.Dr. Fox & his dental hygienist Brittany, who is very personable and knowledgeable, have been so nice and have explained everything to me very thoroughly. Dr Fox will never recommend more work on your teeth than you really need. I came to him with a recommendation from Asheville Dentistry to treat 6 teeth. Dr Fox said that only 2 really needed treatment. I appreciate him and Brittany and and all of their hard work.

I have been going to Fox Dental since 2009 so I have had years of happy experiences with this practice. My recent routine dental cleaning (Dec 2023) was actually a quite pleasant experience. The hygienist, Brittany, has a gentle touch and great advice for managing gum recession and plague. It helped she shared my love of books so, between rinsings, we had an engaging conversation. Dr. Patel was caring and professional. I was seen right away and was out of there in no time!

We're very happy with this practice, the dentists and hygienists are excellent and gentle. It's large enough that you can get in quickly to see someone if you have a problem, but small enough for everything to still be personal. Great front office staff too, they make billing and insurance easy.

I came in to Fox Dental after not being to a dentist for a few years. They discovered I had my very first cavities. Jennifer and Lara were very helpful. I was numb and feeling weird but they made sure to take care of me. When the numbing wore off I was sore but really only on one side. When I called to check on this I was scheduled for a follow up. My original dentist had left the practice only a week later—I was then seen by Mr/Dr Patel. He discovered my bite was higher on one side causing me pain. He took care to assess the issue I was having and so far am feeling much better with less pain. I appreciate they were able to get me back in and address the issues I was experiencing.

Jennifer has been my hygienist for the last 3 years and she is wonderful! She is thorough, respectful, and is very good at explaining what she is doing. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Whitlow has also been seeing me for the last 3 years and he is probably one of the best dentist I have ever had. Will definitely be coming back for years to come.

I truly enjoyed my appointment with Dr Whitlow and Jennifer! They were patient and understanding as well as informative. From the initial call to the end of the appointment, everyone was so welcoming including Nikki at the front desk. The office is also beautiful, open and spacious. I plan to keep them as my dentist moving forward.

Simply the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. The staff is on their A game and there was none of the stress usually associated with a dental visit.The dental hygienist, Jennifer, was incredibly gentle and yet fast! She did a thorough job and my teeth have never felt better or looked whiter. Definitely went out of her way to explain things to me and handle some discolored composite. So glad to have found this exceptional practice!

Can't say I've had much experience with other staff here, but I can say that I'm highly-impressed by the exceptional dental hygienist Jennifer. I mean A to Z impressed: work ethic, attitude, quick-witted humor, engaging conversation and thorough. Above & beyond. THANK YOU JENNIFER!

My first time here and all I can say is THANK YOU LORD! From the time you walk in the door until you leave everyone is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. The hygienist, Elizabeth, and dentist Dr. Fox were oh so friendly and personable. I count this as a blessing and thank my friends for the referral.

It is so nice to go to a Dentist who is knowledgeable in all aspects of your dental care and I can have all services in the same place, meaning I don't have to be referred all over town to other specialty dentist. Thank you Dr. Fox!

Brittany is a terrific hygienist and really does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. Really outstanding. Dr. Patel is delightful, friendly and efficient. Absolutely a pleasure to talk with. Professional and knowledgeable. No one looks forward to going to the dentist so it is really nice to have professionals like Brittany and Dr. Patel attending to your care.

Dental office is clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and Jessica carefully cleaned my teeth. Dr. Patel discussed my dental health in a way that I could understand and made recommendations on what needed to be treated and the urgency with which we needed to attend to it. We transferred from another dental office in town and they even had my x-rays from them before the appt is over.

Big thank you to Jennifer! She provided excellent service during my cleaning appointment. She was thorough, gentle, and ensured a comfortable experience. I book myself two appointments ahead just so I can be sure to get in with her. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a skilled and caring dental hygienist!!

My spouse and I have gone to Fox Dental for the past 2 years. Their service has been great! During those 2 years we have had regular cleanings, deep cleanings, teeth whitening , caps for recessive gums, fillings, and fluoride treatments. Brittany does an incredible job deep cleaning my teeth while being gentle and respectful. All have been great!

Had a very good experience with Fox Dental. They got me right in and made a plan that I could afford. I was quite overdue for an exam. Brittany did a great job with cleaning and some extra detail work. Met Dr. Whitlow and felt very comfortable with their expertise. Everyone there was very nice to deal with!

I am very satisfied with the service and care I’m receiving at Fox Dental. Dr. Patel is an excellent dentist. He shows concern and took great care that the procedure was as painless as possible. And i had an excellent cleaning by Brittany. She is professional and pleasant. 5 stars!

It’s my second visit to Fox dental - today for routine cleaning. The office worked me in 😀because I showed up on the wrong day 🙃Jennifer was my hygienist and was excellent. She used a new tech method for cleaning which was painless, fast, and more efficiently cleaned my teeth. The dentist, who was different from my first visit and whose name I didn’t catch today, was also fast and friendly. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone.
