FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - East Asheville

I came here because of a work related injury, and I have had nothing but the best experiences. From my first visit, I felt completely comfortable. Every member of their staff is so nice and caring. I was paired with Andrea, and not only is she an exceptional Physical Therapist, she is also an amazing person to talk to. During my last visit, I was in a tremendous amount of pain (not PT related) and couldn't move, and although she was scheduled to be leaving work, she stayed with me for an extra hour until my husband arrived and we could move me enough to get me into the car. Hands down, if I ever need PT again, it will be Fyzical, and I will request Andrea every single time.

I found Gren after going to another local PT for months with no progress and told I was wrong about what my body needed and how it felt, and a year passed of continual decline to the point that I almost gave up. I’m so glad I continued the fight for me: Gren has truly impacted my life and health in ways that no other provider has been able or willing to, in my entire life. He properly diagnosed in my FIRST visit of just talking to me after more than decade of searching for answers. He’s got me in touch with the right resources for my condition, found me additional support, shared his plethora of knowledge (man is he smart!) and more than anything he has and is currently restoring the ability to use the muscles in the left side of my face. This alone has greatly alleviated my ability to physically express, which leads to emotionally express, and my mental health. In correcting this one issue (with immediate payoff) I have been able to make positive life changes like having the confidence to interact socially again, and I can even BREATH better. He is a great emotional support, and just overall supportive and encouraging: with each visit I have been able to make gains that have carried over into my daily life to live a
more balanced and fulfilling life. He is endlessly patient, accepts me however I come, and understanding of my overall health conditions, which really breaks the ceiling to healing in a way that is individualized. Bottom line, and I am endlessly grateful to have found FYZICAL and Gren. The ladies at the froth desk, (Janet, and I’m so sorry I can’t remember the other woman’s name) are also endlessly patient, also so kind and helpful in general and with scheduling. It’s easy for me to remember my appointments because I enjoy coming to PT. Thank y’all so much!

Kind, caring and highly knowledgeable staff. I feel like they've saved my life. They were able to determine what was happening to me and start providing me with relief and a care plan that is helping me to mend. Highly recommend these wonderful people.

I am so glad my neurologist recommended Fyzical Therapy and doctors sent referrals to them once I was diagnosed as the experience with them has been great from the moment I walked in the door. The ladies that greet you are wonderful and Gren Clark my therapist is outstanding! I knew from meeting and talking with him, I was in excellent hands. After two sessions and recommendations from Gren, I am already feeling some relief and I am so grateful! My condition is a bit rare but they knew exactly what to do and make you feel so comfortable and explain everything. I highly recommend them!!!

Amazing people! Loved the fact that your therapist stayed by your side the entire time! No bouncing from one person to the next. All therapists were highly professional and highly skilled. I was able to recover quickly due to their attention to detail and by promptly addressing any concerns that I may have had immediately. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

When I suffered a herniated disc two weeks before my wedding, I was devastated! I could not stand up straight or walk unaided when I came into Fyzical Therapy, just 10 days before getting married. Everyone there, from the front desk to the back room, was friendly and supportive and encouraging! Because of the great care they gave me (and because I followed my at-home program), I was able to enjoy my wedding. I even managed to dance with my lovely bride. Thank you, Fyzical Therapy!!

I'm grateful that my PC referred me to Fyzical Therapy & Balance. My therapist is very knowledgeable about my issue and professional in her approach to my treatment regimen. Unlike ALL other physical therapy groups and therapists I've gone to, at Fyzical my therapist works only with me for the hour, rather than rotating among several patients. I truly get my money's worth.

The experience was all positive. From scheduling, evaluation and treatment. Already having some relief after only one session. Looking forward to working with Gren to continue my treatments.

Carmen is wonderful! She thoroughly explains everything and has taught me so much about my body! In a few weeks, my pain went from and 8 to virtually a 0! So happy I decided to listen to my body and sign up for help. I’ve had chronic back pain for three years. At 6 months pregnant, I was basically bed-ridden by nighttime. Now, I can play on the floor with my three year old and put him to bed with no pain!

They fixed me!! Everyone at Perfect Balance is fantastic. They really took the time to get to know my life/work situation and to come up with a treatment plan for my back injury that took into account all of my daily activities. I'm truly amazed with what some relatively simple body mechanics corrections and an easy-to-follow home exercise plan have done for my overall health. The only downside is that my back pain is gone so I don't have a reason to visit these fantastic folks twice a week!

Jenni Sims tried her level best to make me feel better every time I visited Fyzical, using all the tools at her disposal and sharing many helpful exercises and stretches I could use myself to that end. And much relief was indeed achieved as a result of her dedication and knowledge, way more than the ridiculously expensive epidural steroid injections, which provided about 3 days of relief from the knives in my lower back. While sitting in the waiting room at Fyzical, I read many testimonials from other clients on display there, indicating that the entire staff at Fyzical is like minded and dedicated to making folks feel better. Many many thanks to you guys for all of your efforts!

I have had several visits to Perfect Balance over the past few months and they have really helped me with the problems I was experiencing with my neck and lower back. All of the therapists are great at what they do and are very caring and compassionate. Also, Gwen does a great deep tissue massage!

High level expertise and healing heart. Courteous about cancellation for snow or illness. I’ve worked with two therapists there and they’ve both been outstanding; in fact, I drive 45 minutes to get there, rather than going to places closer to me.

First time a therapist explained and taught me how to manage my pain better giving me relief from my pain in over 15yrs wished I had met Gren and fyzical sooner. Client for life now!

I was in a terrible car accident (hydroplaned on wet curve). I was banged against the side of my car (was strapped in by seatbelt) multiple times, hit a telephone pole and wound up in a deep ditch, the car on its side.)

I couldn't walk, was on crutches for weeks, had severe facial trauma, occipital lobe trauma, left leg and foot trauma and a torn rotator cuff. Blessed to have survived.

Jessica and Guienivere at the Merriman Avenue location in Asheville, NC, slowly, but steadily healed my facial pain, head and neck pain.

My shoulder pain was overpowered by the head, neck and facial pain, so didn't have severe enough pain in shoulder to be concerned.

Therefore I put off going to orthopedic doctor as I have a husband with dementia and was scared of surgery,

The pain got so bad, I had to go and found out I have a tear/rupture so went back to Perfect Balance.

Now we are working on the rotator cuff and I am fully certain they will help me with my shoulder as well, as surgery is my last choice and hopefully I won't need because of the pror success I've had at Perfect Balance.

Jenny Sims is a fantastic physical therapist but besides that she is a kind and caring person

The service they give is great. The entrance needs a handicap ramp. My wife has trouble making the one step up and do other handicapped people. The entrance does not meet the registration for handicapped people. Needs to be met before someone gets seriously hurt and sues the owner of the building.

Very friendly , talented professionals.They took the time to carefully review my case , and came up with a great plan for my healing.
