Amazing green space with lots for kids to do. Antique carousel and rotary train are great.

One of the best public parks I have ever visited. This park was a staple during my childhood and I have enjoyed the changes and things that have remained the same for my own child to enjoy. The carousel is beautiful and fun, and everyone loves to take a ride or two on the train. The park is clean and well kept, and the Sun shades are a nice touch on hot and sunny days.

Nice experience. $7 for both my kid and I. We were there for 3 hours. It was really fun. Also the concession stand isn't that expensive. You can buy anything from cheese sticks, pizza, 🥨, and any kind of candy and drinks.

Always have such a Great time at the Shelby Merry-Go-Round Festival they have here each year! You can't beat 1 price for unlimited rides and free entertainment! LOVE IT!!! 💖

50 Cent Carousel and train rides, and the new equipment at the park is incredible. My kids had a blast today.

There is not enough space in this text box to write about the wonderful experience my nephews and I always have when visiting this park. Hannah Mantooth is a huge asset to this team. All of the wonderful events bring, not only an educational, but a fun experience for my nephews. Frankly I have no idea how this park would function with out the exceptional work Hannah Mantooth provides. Y'all better keep her! I have visited this park for years and it was nothing compared to what all Hannah has done in the past couple of years. Thank you Hannah for the kind words, small gestures, and always being the fun, bright eyed person we look forward to seeing!

Bathroom were clean and gym was great for a birthday party

The best pool around! They take spectacular care to keep it clean, life guards on duty, endless sides, great for practice. Long or short course.

This is such a great place for kids to play! Lots of different age-ranges of equipment. Work-out equipment for adults too! The train and carousel are an amazing deal. Our kids are always excited to come!

Kids had a great time!!! Worth the money for the experience of riding the carousel AND the train!!! Then running off some energy, too!! Great way to spend the morning. Be sure to take a water bottle!

Great! Recently renovated and made even better! Family fun, carousel and miniature train rides for 50 cents! Outdoor pool, basketball, tennis, golf, picnic areas. Pet friendly. Walking tracks, nature park, quiet retreats for a good book, a great park. Best of all about the little ones, super kid friendly! Huge modern outdoor playground that offers tons of safe play! Lots of shade provided by shleters for a sunburn free adventure! Large observation areas with benches for parents. All around a top shelf must go park.
