Sonic Drive-In

My food was so good I ate didn’t get a picture. Lol I rarely eat at sonic. So I decided to swing by and grab something to eat. Their tater tots were awesome and I love their Reese’s shake. I ordered the chicken wrap tater tots and Reese’s shake. My food was hot and delicious. I probably would eat here again.

My favorite Fast Food Diner in Shelby, North Carolina. I love the old fashion 50's style. Selections at Sonic Rocks. Very Competitive Pricing. Fresh Hot Cooked Food. Clean Bathrooms and Open Sitting Tables.
Couple Suggestions for SONIC. I wish they would still use the Roller Skates at this Location. Also when finalizing and paying for my order with ATM Debit, Credit Card or App Pay the Order Screen would give a option and allow me to Add a Tip (Either by Pre-Priced Tip amount or %) for there Friendly, Hard Working Servers who have Never let my family down. Keep up the Great Job Sonic!

Food is good, but I believe their register is wrong as we came during drinks half off and had ordered 2 slushes and 1 shake, the shake got half price but the other 2 slushes didn't. But for the wait on everything, they did give us a coupon for a free medium size slushy. This was on 8/28/18

My server was awesome her name was Annie she was so nice and acted like she enjoyed her life and job. A really pleasant person.

While orders aren't always perfect, no place is. But today when I thought I had an issue with a substitution charged wrong a lady patiently helped me understand how substitutions work even though they were short staffed. I realized it was my fault and honestly they don't have time to deal with this but they did. Food was just fine too!

It was a last min stop on a long haul! The food was made correct even in the face of my poor ordering😬. The fries were not real hot but they did hit stop! And thanks to the young lady that was running orders by herself. She did an amazing job! Thanks for the food guys keep up the good work!

The food I've had is always good and hot. Plus the prices are reasonable. The drive-thru can be a little slow at times but, like everyone else, they are short on staff. People need to understand that because of this pandemic most restaurants and fast food places are having difficulty with staffing plus a lot of items aren't available due to shipping delays and shortages. One thing I find remarkable about this location is how friendly the staff is at both the drive-thru and at the menu boards. It's definitely worth a trip.

The customer service was amazing! I love the new managers they were super considerate and loved on my pup! The food was hot and fresh and they gave my dog a pup bowl after we bought him a plain hamburger. They were friendly and talkative which is important to this southern gal. We travel a lot past Shelby pretty much every other weekend going between Charlotte and Knoxville or Lake Lure for mini vacays and we will remember this location and continue to patronize it. Awesome management, employees, and food!

Very nice staff. They had just opened and promptly came out to let us know our food would take a little longer due to it being frssh

My sonic app charged me but my order did not go through to the restaurant. After talking to the sweetest carhop and showing her what happened she and her manager worked to still full-fill my order. I really appreciated it! ❤

You can tell under new managers. So much better. We spoke with the GM Kat and Melissa such funny ladies. Keep up the good work..and yes my husband would vote for yall if you was run for president. Thanks for you time and help.

Kalandra our CarHop was excellent. The Sonic was clean the parking lot was well taken care of and the food was actually pretty awesome. Every visit to this area restaurant that my husband and I have made have always been top notch. It's a little hard to get to from the road as you have to twist around some side streets but so worth it.

Only two employees working, parking lot was heavy as well as the drive thru. Excellent customer service, food was fresh and hot!!! They did an awesome job and with a fantastic attitude!!👏👏👏👏👏👏

Sonic truly has gotten so much better. They have really tried so much harder this time. We go almost everyday during happy hour and they are always so nice and happy. Some of them even skate, which my kids love to see. Justin usually helps us and he is always so friendly not like how sonic use to be. They aren't perfect but they have great potential

They had some difficulties with the drive-thru machine but they were really cool about it they handled it as quickly as possible very very polite love this place

So I was at this sonic around about two weeks ago it wasn’t a very good experience but the have since then replaced a few managers and people the still honored the remake of our food and it was by far the best experience and best tasting food that they have had here that I can even remember the new management team is awesome and I will be looking forward to eating here again and I will be recommending people to come try this place out

Besides the fact they have the absolute best Bacon double Cheeseburger on the planet. But the nostalgia of the old time drive up diners is pretty cool. Only thing missing is the car side radios and servers on roller skates

I love Sonic! Sonic is my favourite fast food place! I normally get a hot dog and a pretzel twist! Their hot dogs are always on point and their pretzels couldn't be more delicious! If you haven't been here, I can tell you now that you're missing out on A LOT! ❤

Thought it was expensive til I tasted that burger and fries. Grand kids had been fussing to go to Wendy's but the line was so long! They tried the Sonic chicken strips and pronounced them "better than Wendy's."

If you have ever had D little tiny pellet baby ice that is so awesome in Sonics drinks.... did you know you can buy it in a 10 pound bag or two $2.84 with tax! I go through a bag every other day it's worth the couple of minutes it takes to stop and grab that bag of ice! I'm totally addicted to it!😋
