Elevations Chophouse @ SKYLARANNA Resort & SPA

This place was an awesome experience. I arrived with high expectations, and they were exceeded. The steak was among the best I've ever had. My bourbon cocktail was out of this world. The wine pairing my server recommended was truly well matched with the meal. And speaking of the server, she was the perfect balance of attentive without hovering. But the best part was the view. I timed my visit to be there for the sunset; I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Some of the best food I've ever had. Perfect portions, perfectly cooked. Small menu works in their favor. My partner and I both got the salmon, and normally I hate skin-on salmon because it tastes way too fishy, but the fish was served skin side down and still managed to be so crispy it shattered. The fish just melted and flaked so nicely.

Pork belly isn't really my thing because I hate fat on my meat, but my partner wanted to try it, and the fat was so beautifully rendered that we didn't feel the need to cut it off. On their own, the grits lacked seasoning, BUT when you eat them together with the pork and the sauce, it's a delicious bite.

Sauces were delicious (peach sauce on the pork and pesto on the salmon) and all the garnishes enhanced the dishes instead of making them pretentious.

Came here for my anniversary dinner tonight, and 10/10 will return.

Elevations Chophouse left a lasting impression with our entire group and a month later we still can't stop talking about it! My husband and I had our wedding reception dinner at Elevations Chophouse and our expectations were far exceeded. We had a group of 14 people and we ordered dishes including the 8oz filet, 20oz coffee rubbed ribeye, airline chicken and the fish special and every single person commented that it was one of, if not the best meal we've ever had. To go along with the incredible food (and views) was the impressive service. Our waiter, Mark made us feel at home and even was so kind as to provide some background on the hotel and grounds and how it came to be the hotel & resort it is today. Mark was accompanied by another waiter and it was actually his first night on the job. He was also wonderful and very attentive. You can tell the staff truly care about your experience. My only regret is that we didn't eat there each night we were in town! We are looking forward to returning!

My wife and I have been to Elevations Chophouse at Skylaranna multiple times and have had nothing but an excellent experience each time. Food is outstanding and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Steaks are melt in your mouth amazing and cocktails prepared by Zach are very tasty! I have read a few reviews criticizing the acoustics and that it is just too loud. We felt this way too as it was a bit difficult to hear your company over the competing conversations. However, I can confirm that the owners have addressed the issue by installing a number of aesthetically pleasing acoustic absorbing panels throughout the restaurant as we dined there this past Friday (10/2/20). The panels make a huge difference in the acoustics which makes for a very pleasant dining experience. I highly encourage anyone who was displeased by the acoustics in the past to dine with Elevations again...you will notice the difference.

Food was incredible! Salmon cooked perfectly. Pork Belly appetizer excellent! Seafood Lasagna...absolutely delicious (who would've known). Dessert...Chocolate Flourless Cake was perfect! Did I mention the mountain view was great! Last but not least service was superb! Definitely be back...🤗

Update: I just have to say after visiting a few times over the last few years this place might be the best hidden gem Hendersonville has to offer. The upgrades have really impressed me and the service level is absolutely impeccable. Food has always been outstanding and even impressed my very hard to please family members.
I can't wait to come for a spa day with my fiance.

We had a wonderful experience at Elevations. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food was some of the best I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits, the shrimp were huge!! You have to save room for the Banana Bread Foster... trust me, it is fantastic!!

Amazing food, beautiful location. Considering one person was serving over 20 people the service was not bad at all. Definitely looking forward to going back. What to try? Everything. Nothing my group had was off in any way. Not sure who the chef is but hats off sir/madam.

Amazing representation of the food and fresh ingredients! Best charcuterie and cheese board ever. Great cocktails and Whiskey selection. Honey is harvested on site. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is perfect not loud like the negative reviews suggest. We will definitely be back soon!

Relaxed environment with great service from the staff. Food was high tier but not overly expensive. Creative ingredients and quality flavors.

Loved our meal here! I read some of the previous noise complaints. However, when we went it was obvious they had added panels to help absorb sound. Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I’m a huge fan of charcuterie and was pleased with their selection. The food is very well plated and makes it really feel like a 5 star restaurant (without the price tag or the suit and tie). Definitely a new weekend dinner spot.

Awesome experience. Wyatt is a god among mortals in the world of bartenders. Both he and our other server were great. Food was excellent. Especially the smoked pork dish. Shout out the Sous Chef that created the special. You haven’t seen the last of us. We’ll find you. You can’t hide.

Dinner was excellent.!! Paired with different wines to complement each entrée to include dessert. It is nice to have a classy and different place to dine other than chain restaurants. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience visiting this restaurant! They are still doing a lot of construction (they appear to be adding a pool and spa below the deck). The petite filet mignon was larger then average. The service was very friendly and was working hard. The kitchen was maybe a tad slower then ideal but the food was amazing. It will be very beautiful when it is all complete.

My husband and I went to check out the Elevations Chophouse for dinner a couple weeks back and I forgot to leave a review for them. We had one of the best meals we have ever had! The braised chicken was seriously the best chicken I have ever eaten! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy it again!!

Decided to make a reservation for our first if 2 nights staying at the hotel for our honeymoon. The kitchen accommodated our diet (vegetarian) and made an amazing risotto with mushrooms. Also had the prosciutto flatbread minus prosciutto of course and the watermelon salad. Both left us super happy. Really have enjoyed the meal and the stay so far.

I was worried about the reviews of the dining area being too loud. But they just installed today all new soundproofing equipment and the dining room was full, quiet, romantic and very relaxing. The food was absolutely mind blowing and must be experienced. The views are amazing and we will be back...probably tomorrow. :) try it here, you won’t be sorry.

Wow, amazing food and atmosphere. Josh (?) our bartender was amazing. I am not a big pork eater, but the pork chop was unbelievable and the hubby had the filet which was so Tender. Great Date Night.

The food and service are impeccable! The menu is diverse, unique, and delicious! I've never been disappointed! The staff is courteous, attentive, and fun.

This is my first experience at Elevations. I don’t know when the chef joined the restaurant but this was by far one of the most vibrant and exciting meals I have had in a long time. Everything bite was a masterpiece of contrasting fresh flavors and textures.
