DICK'S Sporting Goods

This review is actually for an overnight stay in our RV. We called ahead and spoke with the manager and he gave us permission to park overnight.

We stayed our first night in Arden across the road at the Walmart. Bad decision. So when we saw the Dick's just a couple blocks away, we figured it was worth asking. The manager said no problem as long as we parked well away from the store so we chose a spot in the front corner. Yes, it was noisy along the main road but the road noise actually died down around midnight and didn't really get loud again until 6-7am.

We actually stayed 2 nights as we extended our adventures along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We felt safe under some lights and near the road. The parking lot was clean. And we never had cars parking near us. We ran our generators for a couple hours in the evening to recharge the batteries. They're quiet Honda generators anyway but we checked the sound level from the nearby stores and couldn't hear the generators over the street noise.

JT in fishing and David need to be store manager and assistant mangers they are always great ask for them. They always go out of their way for customers. Joey

I'm not so much writing a review of the store, but a review of an employee named Steve. I was in the shoe section in need of assistance and he came right over willing to help. He described in detail a few options and answered all of my questions. Steve was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a great experience because of him. Give that man a raise!

Great variety of sporting goods with good pricing.

Keanu was so knowledgeable and friendly. David was so friendly as well. What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this store.

Hayvin was so helpful, and helped me find the specific items I needed. She also gave me advice on other great recommendations for more affordable active wear. She also had a smiling face and was very happy to help me find everything I needed. I will definetly be coming back for the same great service:)

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff... Unfortunately, did not have item I needed in stock, but they helped me get it ordered to the store for free shipping...

Just about everything for every sporting activity. So much to see and consider, seriously, make your visit leisurely! Clean, well organized, good lighting, helpful staff. The checkout is unusual, and there can be a bit of a wait at times. But so worth it to find those things you need...

Found just what I needed and more. As soon as I walked in an associate named Hope guided me to the section I was looking for. They have a good variety of stuff from sports to workout equipment. Store was clean too.

Very helpful staff and quality products in stock

We went in to buy a kayak and got a great deal and service. Chris, our sales representative, was knowledgeable, offered good advice, and even loaded our kayak in our minivan.

Call them when was at other store . had what I neeeded and very nice and the people help me find what I need and if was in and out

I really like this store has sporting goods and clothes that I like, I just did a floor job, and the people who work here are very attentive and friendly, I definitely recommend it
