Dr. Daniel G. Baseman

Dr Baseman and his team provided exceptionally good care. Dr. Baseman was very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, was clearly invested in giving the best care possible and had my best interests at heart. He was careful to make sure I was aware of all of my options and urged me to take charge of my care and make the decision that I felt would best meet my needs. And beyond his exceptional expertise he was a pleasure to work with. He had a great sense of humor, shared experiences with me that made me respect and enjoy him as a person not just a doctor. The only downside was his questionable taste in music. :) The nurses providing my treatments were the best! They were always helpful, upbeat, encouraging and very efficient. Everyone of my 38 sessions was on time. Which I think is amazing given the number of patients that they were serving. Hard to say that I enjoyed going 38 times to have my treatment , but they made what could have been a real drudgery very pleasant. And finally the front office staff were welcoming, efficient and took care to meet my every need. This team from Genesis was the BEST!!!!

Dr Baseman is a caring, and a very friendly oncologist. He has been keeping me going for seven years, he is a delight to work with, he’s very professional, and very knowledgeable about the latest techniques and procedures. I highly recommend Dr Baseman, I will go to no one else! He is an oncologist, and a very caring friend, to all of his patience!

When I started treatment with Dr Baseman they neglected to fill me in on the side effects of radiation.. You are also supposed to see a dentist and get floride trays to soak your teeth in. I was not informed of this either until over halfway through the treatment. The radiation damages your enamel and I have heard horror stories of teeth rotting out and even falling out. I would visit someone who is more forthcoming with side effects and responsibilities.
