Super chill space that is kid and pet friendly. The food was tasty and service was great. My son loved the patio and meeting local pups at lunch. I got a grilled chicken salad and my husband got a brisket potato. We had the BBQ deviled eggs.

I have been quite a few times and have always been very impressed with the service and the food. They have many, many gluten free options and those options are GOOD. best gluten free banana pudding I've had. The appetizers are amazing. And we get to bring our dog for outdoor seating, so the kids enjoy that

Very good deals every afternoon! The specials change daily and include half price appetizers (definitely try the brisket deviled eggs), $6 taco plates, $6 burger/fries, $6 buffalo chicken sandwich…. The servers are always friendly. If you want a delicious steak, this is the place to go. The steaks are an unexpected delight here!!! Sadly, the steaks are not ever part of the daily specials, but it’s one of the very best places to get a steak, and it’s not even a steakhouse! The owner is often there and very friendly. Overall, it’s a well-run place with good food!

My only suggestion for improvement is for the servers to bring out napkins, straws, and salt and pepper regularly. We often have to ask for those or even get up to get it.

The burgers have us in a chokehold 🥴so good we came two days in a row. Can't say I've done that ever ilife. If you're particular about meat- you can tell the quality is beef is top tier. The sweet potato fries are amazing. Eager to try more

Surrounded by umbrellas and outdoor lighting, it truly felt like a hidden oasis in the heart of the town. My dog seemed equally thrilled, with plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the fresh air.

My husband is a BBQ lover and I might have unintentionally lead him to think this was a BBQ smokehouse. It is not, however, the food was delicious. My husband felt the ribs fell short, but he was wanting reall smokehouse BBQ. They were tender and fell off the bone. The pP nachos were huge and half price. Can’t go wrong. The PP Baker was huge as well loaded with lots of meat and fixings.

The service was spot on and we were in and hour within. 45 minutes.

I can’t believe it took me so long to try this place! The vibe, food, price and quality were all up to my standard!! My boyfriend and I came by for dinner after a stressful day, and despite being a busy Saturday night— we found seats in the patio right away. There were extra seatings at the bar and inside, but we wanted to enjoy the live music so we sat outside.

Service was SO fast!!! I was surprised because the entire restaurant was popping, but we got water right away and the server came to take our orders. I asked the bar to recommend a sour drink, and they recommended the whiskey sour. It was perfect! I got the taco plate with brisket and pulled pork, and my boyfriend got the grilled chicken (Texas Backyard Bird). The food came out in less than 10 mins and it was plentiful! Everything looks and tastes amazing!

When the bill came, I was surprised to see my drink costing only $5!! I was too stressed earlier to ask for the price, but I expected it to be $10+ since most places are that pricey. I’m happy to visit a nice restaurant with great prices, good vibe and quality dishes! We’ll definitely be back :)

I'm mad at myself for not trying this place earlier! I always passed by the colorfully lit patio until yesterday when I decided to dine in. It was pretty crowded, but there's more space in the back and the backyard. It was a little chilly that day, but the workers turned on the patio heaters. I had the deviled eggs with brisket to start. It was good, but I wish the brisket was served warm instead of cold. I ordered the brisket burger, which was SO. FREAKING. AMAZING! The meat was cooked perfectly. It also came with a generous portion of delicious fries. The employees were nice and made sure to check in on us regularly. I totally understand why this place was packed! (Btw - they have different half-off specials throughout the week!)

This was our first time at this location. We had never heard of it before. We are entirely gluten free, because of autoimmune issues, so eating out is tricky. 98% of their menu is gf, and they take great precautions to keep cross contamination being an issue. We had ribs, brisket tacos, steak, Buffalo wings, a burger, and an awesome brownie. All were amazingly delicious. They also had live music, which we enjoyed. Great food,and fun atmosphere. We highly recommend this place. 😊

We love this place! I’m very sensitive to gluten, dairy and MSG. I love that I can have the fries here. The service is great and the food too! Avoid the slaw on the deviled eggs if you can’t have milk.

It's always wonderful to find a restaurant that offers delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The management is doing a great job of running the restaurant and keeping customers happy. I had the best cheeseburger ever with french green beans sauteed to perfection and a Tito spiked lemonade total price of $12. What's not to love? My wife and I like to come here at least once a week. Highly recommended!

We have been here a few times; the food is always great, the waiters and waitresses are always polite and knowledgeable about the menu.

They are still coming up with new exciting drinks to try as well! Great for family, and COVID protocols are closely followed.

My girls love food! My daughter loves the pulled pork nachos, and I got the Chicken Tacos this time. Great place, come check them out!

We patronized the Backyard, Murphy for the first time tonight and we are super impressed!
The owner is very knowledgeable of the service industry - employees are well trained, ambiance is great, menu is concise and delicious, and the interaction between management & staff is incredible as the owner is always present and watching the 3 dining areas + bar, while coaching his servers and stepping in as needed.
We are so excited to have found this delightful Backyard in Murphy and will DEFINITELY be back!

Brunch was delicious. Drinks were yummy also. Started off inside and then moved the gathering outside on the patio area. Great value for the money we spent. Will definitely be back!

Staff was on point, checking with our table. Live music was nice, and the atmosphere was like chilling in a bar that's outside. The steak and brisket deviled eggs were amazing.

Love this place. I have been multiple times and haven’t been dissatisfied once. Great drink specials and great food. Nice updated outdoor area with giant sized Jenga and connect four. Also little children sizes arcade game. Great atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable. Will always be coming back.

Cool little spot. Bartender was friendly. I came in around close (by accideny)and he still had a great attitude.

I got the brisket baked potato and I ate it all before I could take the photo. My husband got the rib plate.Everyone there seemed very kind and friendly. Small issue with receiving my online order occurred …it was handled gracefully. Also the banana pudding is very yummy.
