Barbeques Galore

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Barbeques Galore because I could not get my expensive Weber grill to light. I didn’t buy the grill from them but was inquiring about repair services. The gentlemen I spoke with didn’t try to sell me a new grill or get me to book a service call. Instead, they troubleshot the problem as most likely the regulator. They didn’t try to sell me a new regulator as buying one from Lowe’s or home depot would have been more cost effective. And they recommended that before I did that, I should tap the regulator as that sometimes fixes the issue. They even demonstrated how firmly and where on the regulator to tap it. That worked and they save me a $300+ repair bill. Barbecues Galore will definitely have my future business

We had a fantastic experience with our purchase of a Big Joe III at the Allen location of BBQ Galore. The storeroom was well stocked, the staff was super helpful, and we got a killer deal on our grill (saved $800 compared to other stores and online). Josh went above and beyond to help educate us and get us an incredible grill at an amazing price. I’d called other stores, but ended up buying the grill unseen over the phone based on Josh’s reviews. My experience was as wonderful as everyone else’s. Josh and BBQ Galore are now our go-to bbq store!

The manager, Josh, at BBQ Galore is the best. This is, honestly, the first Google review that I have ever posted, and I am doing so to encourage any shoppers to go the Allen BBQ Galore to receive the very best care. I bought all of my grilling equipment and patio furniture at this store after visiting with Josh in March. He talked to me about my new patio build in detail, recommended products to me that fit our needs and even put together an image on his computer for how everything would look. He was going out of his way to prove to me that he wanted my business and would give me the very best protection and customer care.
Shortly after my project build began, the patio company that my wife and I hired starting making huge mistakes and provided us with the worst customer care that we have ever experienced. Any time that I spoke to Josh about our project and the issues that we were having, he simply listened and helped in any way that he could. Frankly, his ears and opinions made a huge difference in a seemingly impossible situation with the patio company. Even though the difficult situation wasn’t his own, Josh was always there to help in any way that he could.
There were a few manufacturer issues with our grilling equipment from BBQ Galore, and between making visits to our house, calling me and providing prompt updates, Josh took care of it all.
Seriously, what more could any of us want in a local store and its management. Josh deserves whatever promotions come his way!

Purchased an outdoor kitchen February 2023, using Turbo Elite natural gas grill and the 2 burner cook top, along with other components. Josh was very helpful through the process of our selection. He listened to our needs and wants and directed us to a few different brands. His knowledge of the products is top notch. He even did a CAD drawing of our selections, which was very helpful to the trades involved during construction.

I worked with Josh and Juan at the Barbeques Galore in Allen. They helped me pick out the right equipment for my new outdoor kitchen & patio. They are knowledgeable and provided candid information about the choices based on my needs. 100% satisfied with the DCS 36” grill, Turbo Teppanyaki Griddle, doors, drawers and trash bin.

Part of delivering amazing service is being able to turn a bad experience into a positive one.

I purchased a grill from these guys and unfortunately it was faulty.

Not only did they offer to swap it for a new one they sent someone to my house to pickup the old grill and install the new one.

I’ve read lots of reviews for BBQ Galore, thankfully they are taken with a grain of salt these days in this weird world. I’ve been a customer since 2019. I’ve only bought odds and ends as a weekend warrior back yard cook. I’ve never once not been greeted, the staff is always helpful. Any questions asked or answered honestly without bias. I can tell you without a doubt the current staff, Josh and Mark are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and willing in any way to help the customer. These gentian don’t try or up-sale you, rather, educate you on the difference of items so you can make a well informed decision. Long gone are the days of true customer service, not here! My opinion, I will pay up for customer service and assurance in my purchases. BBQ Galore in Allen is my main go to shop, stop in, sit down and talk to these guys. Got cooking questions, just ask, these guys are educated.

Totally enjoyed the experience of shopping, selecting, and ordering our new grill and outdoor island. Josh did a great job of explaining options and helping us get it ordered and installed. Juan has been great when we are "in store" and need help. Their service is fantastic.

Josh and Juan were super helpful during the process of designing our outdoor kitchen. They took the time to help us design the layout and select all of our products. Recently purchased a large Big Green Egg from this location and have to say it was a great experience from the moment I walked in. Josh was extremely helpful walking me thru all the options and put together a package deal that was perfect for what I was looking to do. He also made the extra effort to help me load everything and make sure all was secure for the 3 1/2 hour drive home for which I am grateful. Good store, great people, i highly recommend you check them out next time you have the need.

Josh and his team are the best and I won't be going anywhere else for my grilling and smoking supplies. It's a 70 mile drive for me but well worth it. I'm so happy with all the help they gave me with my GMG and I'm over the moon with my BGE. I should be tipping y'all with ribs and pastrami!
