I have bought a few laser hair removal packages from New Horizon Med Spa. I am very impressed and satisfied with the results. I am light skin, with pretty dark and course hair. My legs and Brazilian area were very course and thick with hair. Shaving left my skin irritated, itchy, and left with ingrown hairs. After doing 6 sessions on my legs, there is a huge difference. I have a few patches of thin hair. Shaving is easy and my skin is not irritated. After 12 sessions on my Brazilian area I have like no hair at all!! This area was an insecurity of mine. And I am happy to say I would wear a bikini bottom and feel confident now. I am so happy I did laser hair removal. I also did lower arms, and bottom. The lady's here are very nice and knowledgeable at what they do. I would recommend coming here and getting rid of your body hair. I'm a satisfied customer.

Been coming here for almost 2 years for facials, body contour and laser hair removal. Everything here works like promised. Couldn't be happier with the changes I see in my body and having to not shave every day has been really life changing. The products they recommend have really helped my face skin care routine.

I have been coming here to Janet for the past two years and absolutely love it. Janet and the rest of her staff make me feel welcomed and cared for each time I go in for a session. The results are amazing and the whole spa is a fun and safe atmosphere to be in.

I’ve been going here for awhile now, I’ve had multiple completed laser packages and had purchased another set. All was good until I believe the previous co-owners had a falling out and all appointments and the system was a wreck. They didn’t know how many sessions of your package you had left and your appointments were cancelled last minute, without you knowing.
I came in an appointment today that I made 2 months ago after my last session, doors are locked and no answers to phone or text. like I’m seeing now with other recent reviews, disappointed in the owner just ghosting everyone and continuing to keep the square reservation system open. Will be trying to dispute the packages I bought with my bank.

I have used this place for over two years, for various laser hair removal treatments all over my body.
I recommended to my cousin, and boyfriend.
Danika has always been amazing I absolutely adored coming.
I had my appointment on Saturday, I walked in the doors to a vacant building.
I was never called, nor told they were moving.
I tried every phone number I can find even the owners personal number and they are all disconnected.
I’m very mad for my boyfriend, my cousin, and myself because now we are all out money with No answers.
I’m also a little worried because they were all so very sweet this just does not sound right.
Something is going on.

I don't typically like to write bad reviews but felt this was necessary since I was ghosted. I'm not sure if this spa has closed permanently but after driving an hour (both ways) to get here, the doors were locked. I called, emailed and texted multiple times without any explanation. I only had a couple of appts left on my package so I'm really bothered that I now have to find and pay another spa to finish the job. The service here was never actually bad, but I did have a different tech each time which can be a little daunting since you basically have to strip down for laser hair removal. Very disappointed. An email or text would've been an easy way out and I would have understood whatever the situation may have been. Especially if they were closing, not the best way for a customer to find out after paying over $1,000 for services.

Everything was going well and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve done about 4 laser sessions that had great results. However, 2 weeks ago I decided to purchase their body contour package and booked my first appointment. It was then cancelled due to an emergency and I understood. Then, I got rescheduled for another session last week and it got cancelled last minute for no reason. I’ve been calling daily and there is no response or update from anyone. I’m tired of all the calling and rescheduling attempts so I’m just going to dispute the packages from my bank. I’m so surprised with this outcome but I was not left with any choice.

I have had many laser treatments here over the past couple of years. On May 17th, 2023 I received this message the morning of my appointment. “Good morning this is danika with new horizon medspa. I was reaching out in regards to your apmt at 9- we will have to get that rescheduled as I woke up sick this am and going to get a flu shot. I’d be happy to reschedule you.” I attempted to reschedule and I got no response. The website doesn’t allow appointment booking. I’m also an RN so I wanted to tell her, you don’t get a flu shot if you have the flu. Things aren’t adding up. Sounds like there are much bigger underlying issues.

I’ve purchased many laser packages over the years with great results. I bought a package for my husband and he’s used 2/6 services since January. His appts kept getting cancelled because the 2 owners had a falling out. He tried booking on Vagaro, as instructed by Danika, and the appt status stays pending.

I had an appt this morning and was hopeful considering I received multiple confirmations. I showed up at 9 am and no one is there. I waited 20 min because she’s typically late and still no one.

Phone numbers are disconnected and place is vacant . Danika personal phone number is also disconnected or she has blocked all clients. I am owed almost 2000 in services . My credit card won’t complete dispute since they were bought in advance . Never thought this would happen. Danika needs to own up to what she promises and not blame others for the mishap as now this is the second time where she has ghosted .

Me and my family have been going here for a couple years now and we have been ghosted with 7 appts for me 5 for my father, and a few for my mom all prepaid with no explanation. My cousin and her fiancée also had prepaid appointments with no answers as to where that money has gone

Very disappointed…my daughter paid and I for laser hair removal had 2 sessions still had 5 more to go and today she went and doors were locked and nothing in there. I have tried calling every number I could find found an email and nothing. We paid months ago I am not sure if I can dispute with the bank but I will be doing something. This is so weird!
