Profesional staff that truly care about your pets. Beyond knowledgeable, Dr. Lamping has got to be one of the best veterinarian in dfw hands down. He's been able to cure one of my dogs with just 1 visit when others couldn't. One can appreciate the extra care the staff does by doing a follow up call the following business day. Dr. Lamping and his staff are incredible. I usually hate going to the vet almost as much as I hate going to a dentist, but the experience at LLAH is always fantastic. They take the time needed on your pet, and so far have never "over-sold" treatments.
I've been to several other vets in the area and usually end up with car-salesman-type "guilt recommendations" during every visit - but never at LLAH. Pricing is fair, and they have almost always recommended several options of medications and/or places to purchase them from to get the best pricing. They're also the only vet I was able to find that was willing to work on a cat with neurological issues; everyone else I spoke with either couldn't or wouldn't give answers as to their procedures for this specific case - LLAH had the cleanest spay stitching I have ever seen in my life.
Additionally, the lobby and the waiting rooms are clean, and don't have the usual 'wet dog/pee' smell that every other vet seems to. Absolutely, hands-down, the best.

My 17yo Chihuahua was ready to sleep. Called multiple vets in the area, and LLAH had the best rates, were informative with the process as I've never had to put a dog to sleep before. They were able to get me in the same day, whereas others said they were booked a week out, or overpriced. Front office and staff were great, and Dr Lamping was very professional and thorough in advising me on my options. He and others took care in performing the procedure. My boy slipped away into eternity within seconds and I was able to leave with his body. Tough tough day. But so glad they were here to help and do so professionally and without ripping me off. Highly recommend. Thank you, LLAH for making Otis' passing calm considerate graceful and timely.

They have been so kind to my pets! One of my dogs was very nervous and they were all extremely patient with him. They also don’t make you wait forever for an appointment and don’t keep you waiting long once you’re there.

Doctors and staff alike are all awesome, we had an especially great experience with Amy and Dr. Lamping! They got us in for a same day sick visit when our dog wasn’t acting himself, heard our concerns and ran appropriate tests to get him the treatment he needed and feeling better quickly! They were compassionate and understanding, and made me feel heard and not crazy, which is important when you’re 8 months pregnant and hormonal and your dog is sick without clear reason! Would recommend this office highly, so glad we found them!

Excellent professional kind staff .Dr. Lamping is well trained and so extremely about all types of pets. He gets to know each pet individually calls them by their name my dogs are always happy to see him and the techs girls up front. The staff also calls the pets by their name. Very compassionate and kind to all people and pets that enter. Excellent place I Highly recommend this clinic.

We LOVE Lake Lavon Animal Hospital. They are excellent care givers and know their stuff, but don't nickel and dime you like other vets around the area. We are so lucky to be close to them! Trust your pets to Lake Lavon, you will not regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about Lake Lavon animal hospital. Their staff is so helpful and friendly, they make you feel like family. Dr. Lamping is very compassionate and truly does everything possible to help your pet. He is very informative and you can tell he really knows what he is doing. My dog is very old and I thought for sure I was going to have to put him down, after receiving treatment, he is doing amazing! His eyes are bright and his tail is wagging, I have not see that in months, that is truly priceless! I am forever grateful for the care he received!

There was no wait, they were quick and got us right back. They loved on our sweet puppy and got us all caught up on shots. They were so gentle she didn’t even squeal when she got her shots! Oh and it always smells clean in there! Love this place!

We have been taking our beloved cats to Dr. Lamping since we moved to Wylie in 2013. As A&M graduates, we love supporting other alumni, and we know that A&M veterinarians are the best! Dr. Lamping and his staff always make me feel like our pets are part of their family, and I really appreciate that. They are so patient, friendly, and kind, and I trust them completely. This practice has seen us through a lot (we have two senior cats ages 17 and 16), and I am so thankful to have such a great vets! It has been exciting to watch his practice grow, and we have had the privilege of seeing two other fantastic vets on his staff. Love them all!

Now that we have moved to Dallas, I still drive 30 minutes so that we can continue to go to Lake Lavon Animal Hospital. They are that good!

I’m so glad I switched to this place for vet services. They always handle my dog with great care and take the time to explain everything to me in detail. Today my dog was so nervous before her visit but then she left the room smiling! So grateful for you guys :)

The entire staff is more like an extended family for us. We miss being able to see everyone in person but we totally understand because of the virus. They have been there for us during the good times and especially during the sad times. They could not have been more loving and caring when we had to put our precious Darby to sleep. Now they are there for us as we have welcomed Abby to our family. Not only do they treat us like family but more importantly, they treat our furry family with love, compassion and kindness. We would recommend this great group to anyone who wants their pets to be taken care of in such a loving and professional manner.

When our vet was closed, LLAH got us in after my puppy had been attacked by another dog. They were caring, helped treat her wounds and were so friendly and sweet with her. Not only was Lilly at ease but we were too! I’m so thankful that they were there for us and that Lilly got the care she needed. Thank you for the wonderful care.❤

I found this vet when I moved to the neighborhood. I trusted them with my senior dog during the pandemic when I couldn’t go into the site with them. They did an excellent job and my dog was not even scared like he used to be at our previous vet. The staff is always very friendly and caring. The doctor takes the time on the telephone with you to go over all of your concerns and answer all of your questions. I would definitely recommend this vet and my other animals will be going here too.

I've raised animals my whole life and I've been around lots of vets. Dr. Lamping and his staff are by far some of the best. Our pets love everyone there and that just makes it so much easier. They all take the time to get to know your pet, love on them and try to make them comfortable. If I have a question it's as easy as a phone call. Major procedures they have no problem sending you an estimate and they'll call you ahead of time if it's going to be more than estimated. If I could give more than five stars I would.
