Been in Kyle for a few months, went to another local shop a few times and the stylist was great, and then she disappeared.

Scheduled a first appt at HCBS with the first available and it was Jonathan. Top notch cut and fade. He offered some options and I am glad he did.

He’s a great conversationalist as well which is always well appreciated in a barber.

I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend the place, and Jonathan in particular!

Got a great cut from Aaron. Wasn't rushed & came out nice. Also got my first ever beard trim, usually buzz & start again but will probably just have it maintained here. Shop was very friendly/ personable overall & I would recommend.

Nathan did a great job. I'm picky about my beard and he did a great job shaping and trimming it just the way i like. Was quick gentle and efficient with using the straight razor to clean shave my head too! Found my new barber that's for sure being new to the area.

John took my son as a walk in and was able to figure out what type of cut he wanted. Made suggestions that ultimately made him happy. Everyone seemed very nice and helpful. Will definitely refer my husband here since we just moved from Dallas.

This is absolutely the best barbershop in Kyle, hands down my favorite! Nate cut my hair and did it exactly how I wanted, and I'm not the best at explaining my cut, he was patient and understanding. John's crew is amazing. These guys are awesome and they do an outstanding job! This will be the only place I go to get a haircut now. I'm so happy to have found Hays County Barbershop! You guys rock!

This was my first time getting my haircut at Hays County Barbershop and overall I am very pleased. I will definitely be back. The time he took and the explanation on what he did is the definition of giving customer service. From a person who was a bit anxious walking in John provided a welcoming experience and a real relaxed feel. I would recommend John and this place to anyone looking for a good cut in the Kyle area.

This place is solid. What you'd expect from a top-notch barber shop.

I had an appointment with John and this man was excellent. Took the time to greet me by name and shake my hand like a gentleman. When asked about my cut he also gave some suggestions which I appreciate because I believe that says a lot about his craft. My hair was cut in a timely manner and he reintegrated how great it was to meet me. My overall experience was excellent and I will be going back.

John gave me a good first experience here at hays county barbershop. I felt really relaxed. I was anxious at first since it was my first time here, but he definitely made me feel comfortable. His attention to detail is on point and I will definitely be coming back more often.

Booked online for a haircut after putting off looking for a barber/stylist since moving to Texas. Christina's list of credentials were impressive and the results speak for themselves. Great fade, clean edges, and trim stubble. Even though she came off of suffering a migraine. That's dedication and professionalism. Working to find the right style was easier with her input and expertise. Will definitely return and recommend her highly.

As a side note. Store was clean and the barbers/stylists took measures to ensure safety for both themselves and clients.

I travel a lot for work and often settle for a haircut wherever work sends me. My friend told me about Hays County and the experience he had so I gave them a shot. Granted it's a bit more than most places I would get a cut during business travel, but not by much. The extra cost was more than worth it! I haven't been to a real barber shop for years. Everyone was welcoming and felt right at home upon walking in. The online appointment system was seamless. Pro tip if you get there a bit early you may be able to get started early. It's been years since I had a haircut this clean with straight razor edge up. JohnJuan also does appointments on Sundays so if I'm out of town all week I can still stop in. I found my spot and my barber!!

John has done a phenomenal job with my hair and I wouldn't ask anyone else to touch it. He pays attention to detail, He is very persistent and has fun doing it. The new shop is very welcoming, unique layout that just separates itself from traditional shops out there and is located in a very convenient. Very professional young man and growing his business. Check them out and take a leap foe the experience yourself.

John Pastrano and his associates do a fantastic job of making you feel welcomed. I’ve been to John twice for a haircut and both times his skills and professionalism have been on point. It’s always a little stressful trying out a new barber but John was awesome and patient with me. He’s earned my business.

I was extremely surprised by Nick at the Barber shop. Called to schedule an appt. he was closing and stayed open for me. I came in and he cut my hair like a champ. Been doing the sports clips thing for the last decade. I will never go back. Hays county Barber shop is now my hair cut destination. Nick is a professional and the whole time i never wondered if it was going to be a bad hair cut. It felt like a specialist was cutting my hair. No BS. Highly recommend this place.

Came as a walk in from out of town needing a last minute cut for a wedding and I definitely came to the right place. Jeff took care of me with a clean cut and the other barbers seemed pretty good too⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I always get faded up by Josue but I went in recently without making an appointment, totally forgot to make one and didn’t want to go anywhere else, and I ended up getting Jordan as my barber. I will literally never go anywhere else for a haircut unless I have to move out of state. These boys are the best in Texas. And the best in Kyle. For sure. Hit them both up. Master craftsman at what they do.

Good crew at Hays County Barbershop. Younger guys, but driven to serve. Nate nailed my haircut and was professional from beginning to end. He knew exactly how to get good results for my cut.

Went for the first time to Hays Barbershop on Sunday and didn't realize it was by appointments only. John greeted me outside and welcomed me in for a cut. That's what I call great customer service. Great cut and convo thanks see you again soon.
