Kitchen on the Bend

Heard about Kitchen On The Bend from a friend of mine who used to work at a favorite eatery of mine off 183. I miss her there so I came out to see her and sample the cuisine. My friend was off that day but we were in good hands with our server, Rebecca. We shared the White Bean Soup, a pizza and a cheeseburger with fries. The soup was good and the whole shrimp and bacon crumbles were a nice touch! I thought it lacked flavor, though, so I added salt and pepper. Not a complaint, but rather an observation. I like pizza, but I am not a die-hard pizza lover like my girlfriend. That said, the pizza here wowed me! We got the "build your own" with sliced Italian sausage and meatballs. We're not talking crumbles of meatballs -- these were the real deal! They came in a seperate bowl and they never made it onto the pizza as we devoured them! The cheeseburger and fries were very tasty, too, and while my girl was enjoying the delicious pizza I polished off the burger and fries. We liked the cozy ambience, the food and the great customer service here! We were acknowledged by at least three other employees while dining and it was appreciated! That starts at the top and the leadership here have assembled a great team! Thank you, Kitchen On The Bend, we look forward to coming back!

We had takeout tonight from kitchen in the bend and we were thrilled! The fried artichokes were impressive but the big hit was the steak bruschetta- holy deliciousness!!! The pasta was perfect with very generous portions. We can’t wait to eat here again and try more of their dishes.

The ambience was amazing!! Such a nice place and conveniently located. The waitress was incredibly nice and helpful. The food was delicious, but very limited. While this is mainly due to the current virus situation, they were able to adjust the dishes to accommodate guest tastes. It's a little sad that such a nice place wasn't filled with guests.

Excellent food. The menu doesn’t have the design standards that the restaurant or the food does. I wish we had tried it sooner. On a whim I suggested we give it a go anyways and I’m super glad we did. Got the mushroom pizza and my wife got the cedar salmon plank. The sausage and cheese platter is amazing. Great Aperol Spritz. We highly recommend this place. Don’t let it close to COVID!

Traveling through Austin on May 13, 2020 we were thrilled to find a restaurant with inside dining open! Safety precautions were in full effect and we had a tasty meal inside this beautiful restaurant! Patio dining was available as well. We enjoyed a fresh and delicious salad, Tuscan bean soup and a marvelous margarita pizza with fresh basil, flavorful, homemade sauce and the most perfect crust.

Yeah, ate at Kitchen on the bend this evening and it was wonderful. Good to be out dinning. Steak and fish were excellent, but the apple tart was the icing on the cake. Great atmosphere, nice bar and a patio.

Really enjoyed the food and service. They are going to great lengths to keep their customers safe. The classic Bolognese was terrific.

Excellent service the entire meal. The chef and all the staff we’re very friendly. Plus the the food was great!

The lasagna was absolutely delicious! Live music was great, service was great, food was great!
