I grew up in the Church of God. The sermons were exegesis of the scriptures. There was a reverence and holiness in the sanctuary, from the pulpit to the pews. As an adult, I have attended charamatic nondenominational churches. Over the years, I have seen changes in the church to the point that you can't differentiate the church from the culture. So glad I found Countryside Bible Church. It takes me back to my childhood. I have to get used to not raising my hand during worship, but I am quite happy with the teaching of the scriptures. That is more important.

Best Christian church in the metroplex. Reformed, mature and godly pastor, organized services, godly worship, friendly saints, respectable attire, solid teaching in Sunday School, mature and godly elders, well-stocked book store, large modern campus, easy parking. Countryside Bible has a high view of God's Word and places it above all. Everyone at all levels are taught faithfully. This is an elder ran church and they work hard to shepherd all those called to attend. They have several studies and fellowships to plug into. The women and children ministries are healthy and faithful. VBS is amazing and your children will be excited to be there and learn from the Bible.

A great place to hear the word. I recommend to anyone seeking and that is hungry for Gods word. It feeds you well. The music is very good and the Sunday classes are awesome.

Countryside Bible Church is a community founded on the bedrock of the absolute Truth of the Word of God and a high view of scripture. Their community, pastors and elders pour out love to others and are willing to strive side by side with anyone working to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ. I could not recommend this church community any higher.

In my opinion, the most solid biblical church I've ever been to! Pastor Tom Pennington is a world class expositor. The people are loving and amazing. There is no other church i would go to in Texas than here!

A biblically sound church that stands firm on their high view of God and high view of scripture. Pastor Tom is SO knowledgeable, the church is filled with truly servant-hearted people, and the expository preaching has truly deepened our understanding of biblical theology. There are so many ways to get connected in different ministries - through serving, small group bible studies, small group fellowships, mens breakfast, womens Titus 2 study, preschool playdate, and so much more. The children's ministry is truly phenomenal; the staff is loving and genuinely cares about the children in their care, and it is not just viewed as "child care". They take very seriously their roles in walking alongside parents to preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ and growing their faith. We've had many wonderful biblically sound guest preachers, the annual Countryside Conference, the well sought after VBS, and so many other ways to grow your faith and get involved. We are truly grateful that we found Countryside and for the community we've formed there!

Been going for 22 years have greatly valued Countryside's high view of God and Scripture! The fellowship is superb and the music is God focused and honoring. The Pastor/teachers are not afraid to speak out against the culture sin issues. 💯

I am so thankful for this church body! It's weird reviewing a church online, but I can definitely say this: Countryside is committed to a high view of God and a high view of Scripture. It permeates everything we do from the children's lessons to the music we sing. Pastors teach exigetically through the Scripture and the church body demonstrates a deep love for the Lord and for each other. If you're looking for a church in the area, please come join us!

Countryside Bible Church is a Christ-centered place of worship with incredible expository teaching at every level. The children's ministry is complete, as are the many other outreach formats and ways to "plug-in" to the congregation. The worship music & singing is done with Biblical excellence, and all of the ethnically diverse attendees are very friendly and inviting.

We've been at this church for over a decade and it has been a wonderful home, a loving church family. Our motto is a high view of God, a high view of Scripture. God is honored and exalted in this place, and His Word is taught without equivocation. The full counsel of God is preached and the gospel is proclaimed every week. Many lives are changed and the body of believers has a true love for this local church. We are very blessed to be there and enjoy serving alongside others in this family. We also appreciate the excellent music that lifts our hearts to God In praise every time, the excellent nursery and children's programs, the Awana program that helps us teach our kids the Scripture, and the great youth program here that encourages and equips our young people to follow Christ.

I learned more in one sermon than in my life going to other churches! The pastor is funny, knowledgeable, approachable, a great orator, and makes things easy to understand. The people at the church are very nice and are not fake or pushy and accosting like at other churches. The staff genuinely cares and if they don't know the answer they will do their very best to find the answer. The kids program is AMAZING!!!

Great church. Went here with my mom and niece!! Wonderful atmosphere and the sermon was really good. Great music as well. They didn't try and guilt trip you you into giving money and that's a relief because a good amount of churches nowadays push that way too hard and it makes people not want to come there to church which is a shame I highly recommend this church to anybody and everyone

Had a wonderful opportunity to vist the church 10 years ago. Would definitely make this my church home if I lived in the area! I live stream during the few Sundays I am ever sick at home. (I faithfully serve in my own local church otherwise!)

The Word of God…. Pastor Tom Pennington does an excellent job of exegetical teaching … if you truly want to learn scripture and grow in your faith in Christ this is the place to do it.

Bible based exegetical teaching, great children's ministry and staff. Love this church.

A gentleman is an elder Statesman in this Church. So far, he happens to be a great man.
