Cafe Blue at Hill Country Galleria

This restaurant is very nice with perfect lighting and a nice ambiance. The tables are spaced perfectly apart, and the service is always very good. We ordered during Saturday brunch. The crab roll appetizer was amazing, and let me just start off by saying when you can see nice big chunks of lobster on top you know it's going to be good. The bread it came on was toasted and buttered to perfection, the perfect ratio of mayo to lobster to lettuce was used. I ordered the crab Benedict Arnold which was tasty, my only complaint is that the hash browns were slightly burned and just an edge over crispy.

Despite the price, I had a very good experience! I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Appetizer, with a strawberry mojito. All were delicious! (And a little cheaper with happy hour) If you're willing to spend a little more and get a wonderful experience I would recommend! Not shown here, but my friend let me try his Artichoke Pasta and it was DIVINE. I'm getting a whole plate to myself next time.

We have not had decent blue crab cakes in years. We searched several states and even in California and it was just lacking. To our happy surprise the crab cakes here and everything else we ate was phenomenal. My partner is from Baltimore, so he really is picky about his crab and he gave his seal of approval. The service was above and beyond and the the selection was wonderful. Our experience was divine and I can't wait to return.

I've been dining here for several years, and it never disappoints. This evening, I went out with both a soup and appetizer. The appetizer was called a "Tropical Ceviche," a delightful blend of white fish and tropical fruit. A very nice presentation in a parfait glass. The a very traditional New England style Clam Chowder. The flavors were perfect. However, I was disappointed that there weren't more visible chunks of clam. Finally, a new dish for me, compared to what I normally get. The shrimp brochette. This dish construction was the typical bacon wrapped shrimp. The reason I have avoided this dish is because I have found anything bacon wrapped tends to be overwhelmed by the bacon. This was NOT the case. The bacon truly complemented the shrimp flavor. There is a small sliver of jalapeño but it added only a very small amount of heat. The best part was the creamy butter sauce. Well executed!

Decided to do a date night here based on reviews and the search for good clam chowder for my other half. Service was great, and they even worked us into an area that already had a large party. The food was great. We had the Louisianne Snapper, oysters on the half shell, and scallops. The clam chowder was very good. Will definitely be returning to try more food. It was a little loud the evening we went and as usual seafood is a little $$, but well worth the visit.

This was my first time eating here, and it was fantastic! Party of four, and we had fried coconut shrimp, the ribs, grilled shrimp spinach salad, Captain Pete's jerk chicken with rice and spinach and rolls. We all were very satisfied with our meals and have zero complaints. We definitely will be going here again and again in the future.

The service was great, and the only reason I didn't give a five-star rating for the atmosphere is because the backs of the booths are not very comfortable when you are there for a long time (straight up).

I swear to you.. this place was made for my girl. To the atmosphere, to the food. It was like they went inside her head to make this restaurant. Absolutely delicious on everything we ordered and hands down the best oysters I've ever had and I've had a lot of oysters. We have to come back and try everything on their menu. If I could, I would give them more stars than 5 stars. Seriously that Great!!

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. The waitress was phenomenal with her service. The food was great and portioned just right. My only recommendation or complaint was the food arrived at the table not temperature hot. Very lukewarm temperature. Other than that it’s a must stop in place and you will not be disappointed.

I always come here on Sundays. Sean at the bar is the best bartender/server ever, period. Always hard working with a great personality. Cafe Blue is blessed to have him. I always enjoy coming here. Amazing food and drinks at the bar.

So happy was in town for their Thursday feature. The prime rib was superb, would love to have it again. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Key lime pie is a must as well.

The Saturday morning buy one get one brunch menu is a great deal! We went for my daughter’s birthday and it was such a fun experience. Great waitress, fantastic food, and a nice atmosphere!

Such a great experience!! Excellent customer service (ask for Maddie) very knowledgeable & helpful with specials and menu suggestions. I absolutely loved the drinks I ordered. They had a nice bar & overall good list of cocktails & of corse the seafood was fantastic. My fave appetizer was the jerk chicken quesadillas.
I will definitely be back. 😁 *I also prefer this location over the one downtown for parking reasons.

Everything was delicious. My wife had the shrimp and crawfish omelette. She asked for it with no cheese and to substitute the tater tots for sliced tomatoes. They accommodated her request without any problems. I had the fish and chips. The fish fillet was large and thick. It was very moist and flaky and covered in a delicious beer batter. Our server was outstanding. He took great care of us without being overbearing. Will definitely come here again.

Thursday prime rib until they sell out night! Café blue has a lot of different menu items that are fantastic. We love the oysters not shown in the picture. My wife really enjoyed her hamburger.

Loved the place, the food is awesome and the oysters are amazing. I ate the oysters, calamari, and the blue cheese burger and all of them are really good. The service was very attentive and kind. Might be a little expensive but other than that I would recommend 100%. The lobster sandwich is also pretty good.

We had our Annual Regional Meeting here two years in a row. The first time the guest coun was 50. This year it was 90. The staff at Cafe Blue did an amazing job and handled everything exceptionally well.

Wonderful food and great service. I had the crab-stuffed flounder and my husband had the red Snapper. Deelish!

Amazing food and service. Just the right blend of Texas and coastal seafood. A value much higher than the price. Fresh seafood prepared as desired by a talented chef. They have a wide array of oysters to enjoy. Also a great bar for meeting up with friends. You should eat here.

My wife and I stopped off here on a whim during happy hour and ended up doing a tapas style dinner with appetizers and oysters. The service was awesome, we asked our server to select his favorite oysters and he did not disappoint. Their crab cakes were AMAZING and it comes with a house made slaw and remoulade that we could not get enough of. House made bread as well which was amazing. We made a reservation to go back and check out brunch - the menu looked awesome.

We had to have some oysters, this place took care of that, and more. Good fresh lime Rita’s served here. We loved it.
