I visited with a business friend and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, the service was fast, and the food was tasty. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken instead of turkey, and it was fresh and the chicken was flavorful - it is a salad and tasted like it should 🤷🏻‍♀. Following a low-carb and low-sugar diet, I had to hold the bacon because it is sugar cured, but the salad was still good! There are not as many keto/low carb meals as I would have liked, but there are definitely some things you can make work (you can eat the burger with no bacon or bun, they have brussel sprouts, or maybe the chicken sandwich with no bun would work as well). I did not pay for this meal, but I believe my salad was $16.99. While it is pricey for such a basic salad, they didn't charge to substitute the chicken so I can't really complain. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely eat here again. If you are looking for a restaurant with a small but well-curated menu, this is a good option. I did not order a drink, but the selection at the bar looked plentiful.

Wow! Just wow! We learned of The League recently and made a day trip from Georgetown en route to Dripping Springs. I was with 2 others who were very particular about food, so my fingers were crossed this first trip.

The atmosphere was perfect. Beautifully decorated and so much attention to detail. Even the restrooms were impeccable and feel like a trip back in time.

The servers were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Jim, who was the GM even stopped by our table and shared background information about the pictures, decor and history of the restaurant.

Ok food and drinks. The bloody mary knocked my wife's socks off. My Arnold Palmer was awesome.

We ordered Chicken and Biscuits, The Southern Burger with Truffle Fries, and an Omelette Plate.

The Chicken and Biscuits were cooked to perfection, and seasoned perfectly. The gravy had just the right amount of salt. The biscuit was homemade and so fluffy.

The Omelette plate was spot on, and the potatoes were cooked with much care. Fresh cut, not too much grease. Spot on amazing.

The Southern burger. Oh baby! Cooked a perfect medium, fresh beef, the onion strings Tabasco, and barbecue sauce. Just so well put together it is now my #1 burger.

We left with my wife and I agreeing, this is now "our place". When we want to go out and experience the best of atmosphere, food, service, drinks and friendly people, we're coming back here!

Low key bar that serves food way beyond my expectation. Truffle and caviar garnish on the deviled eggs and a top heavy burger that stayed together convinced me. Would recommend. The map shows the restaurant is in the wrong location. It's actually on the corner.

I loved this place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved the atmosphere and what impressed me the most was how well the staff worked together. I had the deviled eggs for an appetizer loved them! The pork chop was excellent it had this awesome gravy. I even had room to try their dump cake which was delicious. It wasn't too rich and the cake was warm with bits of toffee that melted in my mouth perfectly.

My husband and I saw this restaurant on "Daytripper" on YouTube. We happen to love to go around there for a vacation once a year, so we decided to try this restaurant out. We we're so delighted it was exactly how they said it was. There was no wait, but the place was packed! The waitress was super nice and punctual. The food was awesome! Will definitely be back again!

This place was great! The food was great and they had cool beers. We got the lobster sliders, French dip and the chicken pot pie, and they were all great! The lobster was fresh and the meat and au jus with the fresh dip was amazing! The chicken pot pie was good. I had a few of the special beers and they were all good. Then we got a free dessert because it was our first time there and it was amazing! It was a chocolate dump cake and it tasted just like my grandmother in laws chocolate sheet cake. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Haven’t been here in years but was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! This isn’t just a tavern anymore. It has great appetizers (coconut shrimp and tuna tacos were amazing,) entrees were good all around, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. Service was excellent. Surprised it wasn’t busier on a Saturday night!

This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Austin. The club sandwich is incredible. So much so that I had to eat half of it before I took a picture. I also highly recommend the truffle fries upgrade. Even the pickles are uniquely flavored. The burger is good too I go back and forth between that and the club. We get the cocktail with lime cucumber and basil and it’s very light and refreshing.

We love The League. During pandemic we ordered from them regularly, now we all have our fav dishes and to order we don't have to look at the menu, we just order several things and everyone shares. We go there in person some too. Their weekend brunch is very good. Husband waits for Fall so he can get Lonnie's chicken (only on Sundays). If it was a last meal situation, he would want Lonnie's chicken. I like their eggs benedict and their Cobb is a good one. Also really like their burgers. Grownup grilled cheese with tom soup also great for comfort food. Their dessert game could use a little sprucing. They have a dessert called grandma's dump cake. Honestly, the name is a challenge. I know that seems petty but for several people in my household, that name makes us not eat it. Even when it is on the plate and looks like it could taste good. Hard to get past the name. Sorry to the Grandma... she was probably lovely and the cake does taste ok. But the name makes us skip dessert. That doesn't stop us from loving The League. We just don't go for a sweet tooth.

What a pleasant surprise! We came here because I was craving fish and chips and this popped up on Google. The name of the place made us think we were walking into a sports bar. While they do have TVs showing some sports games in the bar, we found the place to have a lovely retro feel. I had the fish and chips. It was HUGE! And delicious. My wife had the Reuben with onion rings. For an appetizer we had the smoked salmon deviled eggs. Everything was outstanding! We even got a “first time visitor” treat! We will definitely be back. Looking forward to sitting in the bar on their sky blue retro bar stools!

Had their Frenchy Burger. Fantastic! The beef they use has so much flavor. Love the fresh hand cut fries. Was so good that once I started eating. Forgot to take picture. I am definitely going to watch for this one again in their Specialty Burger of the Week. Went again and enjoyed the food.

They have DELICIOUS FOOD! I went for lunch and I had a burger and fries and my son had the meatloaf. Both were excellent!

The meatloaf bites are to die for. I always sit at the bar, so I cannot speak for the restaurant side. But it's a chill vibe with good service.

The League has always been my favorite place to eat in Lakeway that has a variety of plates from breakfast to dinner all day every day. They hire excellent servers that have the old fashioned attitude that is rare to find and when you watch the owner?manager, walk around making sure everything is going like clockwork it shows that everyone there really cares about what they serve and how they serve people. Shout out to Nathan the server for taking care of my meal and shout out to all the other staff for making the League such a classy place for fine dining.

The host (Tate) very polite and friendly, for starters. Then we met our server, Karen, who was one of the best servers we’d ever had. Our party of 4 commented on her expertise multiple times. She brought me lots of extra bbq sauce that I love that is like crack on the Southern Burger, which, by the way, is the best burger in town. We love everything on the menu, including the coconut shrimp salad, but one of us always gets the Southern Burger. Oh, and the truffle fries, of course. We’re not stupid. We’ve been going to this restaurant since it was Ciola’s, owned by the father years ago, 20 at least. We have literally never had a bad meal. Always superior. We used to be waited on by Tommy on Friday night date night and always sat in the “Sinatra” booth in the corner. You’ll know it when you see it. We sat there again yesterday after my daughter’s Highschool graduation. Many rounds of applause for The League. It is an unsung hero in Austin, Texas. We should all be so lucky to have it in our own backyard.

Even if you just come here for the lobster sliders, it will be the best thing you ever did!! Service was great both times we went (2 days apart!) kids grilled cheese was legit and the fried pork chop and prime rib sandwich were delish too. Wish we had time to try more things. Will definitely come back if in the area again.
