Village Dermatology - Mountain Brook

I really enjoyed my first experience at Village Dermatology. They really listened to my concerns. Brittany at the front desk, and Gara, my nurse in the room were so nice and welcoming. Wendy came in and was very thorough, and started me on a treatment plan.

I had a wonderful experience at Village Dermatology. I was very impressed with how helpful and welcoming everyone at the office was. I had a procedure completed with Dr. Fening, and I was very pleased with how she and her nurse answered my questions and listened to me about my issue before getting down to business. The procedure itself was surprisingly painless! And it has healed very nicely. This was the best experience I have had at a dermatologist and one of the best experiences I have had at a any doctor's office.

I had the MiraDry treatment done about 2 weeks ago and I am amazed! This is life changing and I would do it a million times again. Jane was AMAZING and prepared me for anything that I may experience after. The swelling was there for sure but the discomfort was very tolerable. The swelling got better each day. If you are considering this treatment, DO IT!

Village Dermatology was the best experience. The whole entire staff were so welcoming and friendly. I saw Wendy today. I can’t express how grateful I am for her. I was so insecure about all that was going on, and she walked through my options and where we were going to go next. She was incredible!

Kim Halvorson in the esthetician's clinic is simply amazing, and one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of encountering. She really is forward thinking in her approach to my many skin issues, and her thoughtfulness in a long term plan for me has been so helpful. She promises no miracles (which I love and think is incredibly honest and great), and yet her treatments on me usually exceed my expectations!
On the Medical side, Kelly Fordham is not only conscientious, she's also patient and kind. She listens to my hopes and needs and never makes me feel like she's in a hurry or doesn't have the time to go through everything one more time if I need it!
Highly recommend this office.

Village was a great facility, easy to find, easy to book with, and provided excellent results with my MiraDry procedure. Jane is an excellent provider who works with the MiraDry patients. The other members of the office were all nice and greeted you promptly upon arrival. Jane talked me through the process, and I felt prepared both pre and post procedure. I would highly recommend this practice if you have any dermatological needs.

When i walked in the office i was greeted very friendly. Every one was so nice the nurse that waited on me she was excellent she explained everything to me very patient with me very nice i went there for a Rash.and itching She explained everything i needed to do. Dr.Pfederer and the entire staff were very professional and courteous. Everything was explained to me during the mohls process.They made sure I was taken care off throughout the procedure. I would highly recommend Village dermatologist for all your skin care needs.

I had been suffering with eczema on my legs for a year. I went to several Derms close to home, but no one could/would help me. I made an appointment with Village Dermatology & was totally happy when I left. Dr Fordham took the time to listen. She did a biopsy on her one of the spots. She was so gentle & I never felt anything. This practice is very professional & they really care about their patients. I will never go anywhere else. Hats off to Village Dermatology. Please don’t waste your time in Huntsville.

Dr Pflederer at village dermatology did mohs on my face recently. She did an amazing job. There are no scars left. Her plastic surgery skills are fantastic!

Dr. Taucher went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. She really took the time to get to know me and understand my past medical history. She formulated a treatment plan that fits my lifestyle, and she made sure to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. She also gave me many skincare tips that I found beneficial. Looking forward to seeing her again!

Village Dermatology has been incredible!! They have been so responsive and willing to help me in whatever way possible. Dr. Tauscher specifically has been my saving grace! I’ve been going to Village Derm now for years, they’ve always been able to make a difference for me, I see Amanda Lanier and she is always so sweet and helpful!!

I was referred to Dr. Rachel Pflederer to treat several squamous cell carcinomas on my lower legs. She introduced me to Re-Vita, following my Mohs procedures, which literally cut healing time from months to a few weeks! I also appreciated her willingness to “think outside the box” in that after treating me over the course of a few months, and after having multiple Mohs procedures, she said she suspected I had reactive squamous cell carcinoma…the body reacts to trauma (surgeries, biopsies) by producing more squamous cells. She offered to try injecting the lesions with effudex which was very successful! She also suggested that I try a field of effudex (cream) on my lower legs as well. The incidence of recurrence have been greatly reduced.
Aside from my personal health issues, the entire staff with whom I’ve interacted have been exceptionally professional, helpful and kind. I cannot recommend this practice more highly!

I absolutely love Village Dermatology and I just want to take a moment to brag on Kim in the laser center. When I first started getting laser treatment over a year ago, I was hesitant and somewhat nervous. Kim has always been my esthetician and she made this process so comfortable, professional and even fun. I’ve had laser hair removal on my lower legs and underarms, and I’m currently working on upper legs and bikini. I’ve had BBL therapy on my arms, which eliminated all of my arm freckles. And I’ve had multiple microneedling sessions on my arms. She’s kept me distracted, explained the science and been such a wonderful person to me. Overall, I’ve made so much progress and I love my results with all of my treatments. Village Dermatology is THE BEST!

Emily in the aesthetic and laser center has been great! She has helped me achieve my skin goals and had my skin in the best condition for my wedding day & beyond!
