Piggly Wiggly Homewood

I bought this bacon. It is wonderful. Best bacon ever. It's the one they use in the breakfast bar everyday.

Stopped in to grab some supplies while staying up the road from them. Friendly staff that greeted me on arrival and asked if I needed anything.

Worked out that the first couple experiences were quick and painless. Then I found out they sell some Hard AF seltzer and I called them to have some ready to go for me. They did... And they made this expensive stop very easy!

I went to Piggly Wiggly on Montgomery Hwy to get a few groceries. The employees were so polite and friendly. They helped me with everything, some things I could not find. All of the same faces hugged my neck and asked me how I was feeling and if I was feeling any better. This goes to show you that those employees are compassionate and know their customers well. I was helped to my car by Harold. The shelves were impeccable all straight and full. The produce was being stocked and was all beautiful. Every employee working. This is how a business should run.

Great values here, just the right size as well. Feels like taking a step back in time. Buy some pop and a shiny apple

Love their blue grits from Wilsonville AL. We get stocked up when we come to Bama.

Another Pig. Probably more discrete items stocked here than at a Super Target. Management must order just about anything folks ask for.
Whole place is crammed with stuff. It's a neighborhood market time machine. I hope the biggest change with the new building will be better parking. Wine and beer section is always staffed if ypu need help deciding what you like. Deli is ok. Upscale fresh meat and seafood available too. Lots of local products.

I just made a quick trip to “the Pig” to buy two items for my grandson. I arrived after he had just closed the doors. I ran up to the door and told him that I only needed two things for my grandson. A nice gentleman, named Michael, opened the door, got the items for me and carried them to my car. His name is Michael, possibly an Angel. I think so!!😇

I'd come here JUST for the fresh southern milk with the cream on top! The workers are so bright and friendly, the beer and wine selection is very impressive for a little grocery, and their meats are nice too!

Very neat and clean stocked up with everything I needed and didn't have to ramble around other items that didn't belong in that particular section Great Job

Been pigg fan over 40 years. Best all around.... Food...quality..staff,.. I mean family... Selection....impeccable in every way. Cannot say enough. Must experience yourself. Won't go anywhere else. Won't want to.

Our family loves shopping at The Pig! This grocery store has the best wine selection in Homewood. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Great store. It has served the Homewood community for ages. It is difficult to park but a great store to get your shopping needs done.

This piggly is fantastic and I'll go here every chance i get since their customer service is fantastic. It's a smaller grocery store, but the produce is fresh and has good meats. Employees are super friendly and polite which is the biggest reason that i go to this location.

Great store. People have always been friendly and helpful. Beer and wine selection is by far one of the best in town and without a doubt the best prices. Have never turned away from the produce or meats, consistently top quality. Not sure why some complain about the store. Maybe they don't understand that in order for them to offer low prices, they can't have the most up-to-date building. I think it looks completely fine. Also like the offerings from local businessses and farms. Great store.

Extremely clean and very friendly staff. Location is well stocked but a little bit crowded in space. Parking your vehicle at times can be difficult especially on busy days.

My favorite place to shop for groceries! They have the best beer and wine selection and the seafood dept is always fresh and stocked. Store is always clean and employees are always nice.
