Great food, big portions, fair prices. It's the food court at the mall, so the atmosphere is terrible, not their fault! In the future I am definitely going out of my way to come here for great mexican food!

This place has the best Mexican food in town! After eating here it’s hard to go anywhere else. The steak tacos and chicken nachos are what we usually have and it’s always so good.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the Bloomington-Normal area. I come to the mall *specifically* for this food. The potatoes that come with the burritos are out-of-this-world good. I always give them a nice tip because I’m afraid of them going out of business and if that happens I will cry.

I had the super taco! The hot green sauce was amazing. They also added cucumbers to my steak tacos which gave a very nice fresh taste to the tacos. These were absolutely delicious! Fast service and very friendly staff.

The chorizo tacos were my favorite part of this meal, but the el pastor tacos were also delish! I didn't get a picture of my tres leches cake - but the strawberries on top were SUPER fresh and the entire dessert was high quality. With the combo they provided both a salsa and a salsa Verde, both of which were good. The rice here isn't my favorite Mexican rice option in town - less tomato-y than Fiesta for example, more similar to El Porton, but the quality of the tacos makes up for it! Highly recommend! An easy take-out option - they automatically package everything to-go anyway, but there is plenty of seating if you crave a food court vibe 🤣

With warm smiles the employees at El Patrona welcome anyone to experience authentic Mexican food at reasonable cost. The food reminded me of my childhood and growing up in a Hispanic household. This restaurant has earned its place at top 5 places I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent service, the staff assists you in a friendly and polite manner. The food is delicious, taste of Mexico, the desserts are perfect. The place is always clean, they serve you food quickly. It is a highly recommended place.

The absolute best Torta I’ve ever had! It’s my favorite Hispanic food and this place tops it all. Mouth watering. Staff is very friendly and productive.

We heard lots of good buzz about this food truck and finally got to check it out for ourselves. Have to agree they have some of the best tacos in town - tried the Chorizo, Steak and Al Pastor. They are flavorful and generous with the meat. Chorizo was good, not especially spicy. The grilled pineapple with the Al Pastor was a good compliment to the cilantro and onion. The steak had a lot of flavor from the grilling. My wife ordered the Hurrache, and it was gigantic compared to what we were expecting. Will be back!

Food is always delicious and authentic!! Family ran, stop in, grab to go or eat in old food court !! Its not gonna be a fast food, they make everything from scratch ! Easy in food court door to right, easy out, delicious 😋

Loved this place since they were selling food in Advanced Auto's parking lot. Steak nachos are my fav. Got samples of the tres leche cakes and bought 2 slices. Friendly service and fast! My boss loved the shrimp tacos!

Best tacos in town! Gave it a 4 for atmosphere because it's in the food court of a slowly dying mall.

La Patrona catered my wedding reception this past weekend, and we were so happy to share their wonderful food with our guests. They went the extra mile to warm tortillas by hand- and the service was wonderful. Details were easy to manage, and they were more than accommodating for our needs. I highly recommend them for any catered event!

I finally had the opportunity to try La Patrona's famous authentic tacos for my lunch today and I have to say, they really are the best tacos I've ever had here in town. I got the steak tacos and they were packed with flavor!! I was pleasantly surprised with the portions of food and the quality overall. I got a side of chips and salsa to go along with my tacos, but I had to save them to snack on for later. Everything is fresh and made to order. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions about ordering. Definitely recommend and will be going back for more!!

Absolutely amazing food if you like authentic Mexican food. The tacos are by far the best in town. Very flavorful and generous portions. Brings back memories from home in Arizona. Hoping that moving into the food court at the mall they don't lose the charm but as long as the food stays the same they will be very successful. Definitely have a lifetime customer here.

I been going here since they started their food truck and I still go to the restaurant in the mall. The food is delicious and reasonable price. One of my favorite places to eat in Bloomington. I’ll support them as long as they are in business ‼

Best Mexican in Blono. Better than Vera Cruz and Rincon cito which is saying a lot. But you need to offer free tap water when you sell spicy food. The fountain at eastland mall has been broken for years! But it's good to see someone making money in that awful hell hole they call a mall!

OmGooodness. The customer service was great and the food was even better. The cake was so delicious that I couldn't even resist eating it first. If you haven't been here your missing out. I tried to add photos but I was unable.
