My daughter just had her first dentist visit today. The nurse is patient, experienced and professional. My daughter said she cannot wait for her next checkup. Highly recommended!

I don’t often leave reviews, but when I get excellent care, it’s only right! Dr. Xu and his staff are amazing. Anytime I have an issue, they do their best to get me in right away. I was having a very bad toothache, and they got me in right away to get the tooth removed. They are very kind and attentive. I specially want to thank Arlene, she held my hand and made sure I was very comfortable the entire time. Dental work always gives me anxiety, but they made sure that I would be okay. Thank you all!

All of the staff I interacted with were kind and professional. I had my teeth cleaned by Kaia, and she was amazing!!! She was very nice and I liked that throughout the process she would ask me if my teeth were feeling okay. I've had my teeth cleaned multiple times (at a different dentistry) since getting my braces removed and apparently nobody bothered to clean out some of the leftover glue from my braces but Kaia found some and made sure to remove it for me! She was very efficient and thorough!

I had an emergency root canal this morning. The staff were incredibly kind! They fit me in their busy schedule. The hygienists and doctors were professional and personable. They explained what was happening as it went. The appointment took less than 30 minutes. My pain was relieved immediately. I would highly recommend them for their excellent care.

I was wary of finding my own dentist after a childhood of bad dentistry that had made me dread ever going because I knew I would have to get cavities filled and shamed for my dental health. Illini Smiles had the best reviews and a staff consisting of mostly women. I felt comfortable reaching out, and they were super helpful with anything, including figuring out my frustrating insurance that always causes issues. After my first visit at Illini Smiles, I wasn’t thrilled due to the amount of damage I was going to have to fix. But they talked me through it completely, took care of my teeth in 4 separate appointments, and I have not had a single problem since then. They saved my teeth and I am forever grateful to them for this! Back in February, I had my wisdom teeth removed at their office, which was incredibly quick and done perfectly. The healing was easy and I felt comfortable asking for help with questions in the process. Every person on their staff that I have interacted with has done an amazing job. Thank you Illini Smiles for saving my teeth! It’s been two years since I started using their practice, and I don’t see myself going anywhere else. My last visit on 11/14 was nothing different. My teeth are doing great (thanks to them)! And I had a really comfortable visit.

I have been going to Illini Smiles since they opened. I have had nothing but positive experiences despite numerous dental issues over the years. Dr Xu is kind, professional, and very informative/helpful. His team is also excellent! I couldn't imagine going to another dentist.

Very friendly, office clean and inviting. I need new dentures, I've had these for 10+ years. They showed me all the costs and are making sure insurance will cover, so that there are no surprises costs. My husband had a tooth with an exposed nerve. They extracted it right then, because, well, they had time. We were both very pleased and would definitely refer then to anyone who needs a dentist.

The staff and Dr. Xu are incredibly kind and caring. I normally visit two times a year for regular cleaning but I also had an implant done through Illini Smiles last year. I have had zero issues with the implant and am thankful. Every visit has been a positive experience for me, highly recommended!

Literally the Best Customer Service I've Received in a very long time. The Assistants even helped care for My 1 year old Son needs as I was being examined. Excellent service! I came to the office for a dental emergency and the dentist and personnel treat me fast and very well. The dentist is very polite and explains everything in detail. If you have questions, they respond all and try to bring you a good service in all aspects. Highly recommended! I will go back to his office for sure!

While one does not typically enjoy the dentist, this was such an enjoyable experience. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and nonjudgmental. They were efficient and accommodating to my schedule. They easily coordinated everything with my insurance and seemed to truly care about my needs. This atmosphere makes me actually want to go to the dentist. I cannot recommend more highly.

Savannah, was my hygienist on the day of my 'deep cleaning' visit, and she was amazing!! I have sensitive teeth beyond what any hygienist should have to endure but she was extremely patient and understanding. She made me feel less stressed and took her time. Illini Smiles had everything necessary to accommodate my needs for not being the average person getting a cleaning. I felt minimal discomfort. Savannah, actually gave me a cleaning that I've been unable to get in many years. I was also pressed for time because of work and the receptionist was so polite and I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. Top notch!!

Had a great experience. Part of my tooth had broken off got me in the next day. I also needed a deep cleaning on my bottom teeth they got me in the next day. Had a wonderful hygentis named Kaya and a great dentist doctor Lucking. Am going back in 3 months. Highly recommend

I had my wisdom teeth removed. Called the morning of because I was having severe pain. They got me in that afternoon to have them removed. The removal took less than 15 minutes and I didn’t feel a thing for all four teeth! Doctor Xu and all staff were super friendly and helpful as always during the whole visit

Best dentistry experience I've ever had - I was a new patient, but was in a ton of tooth pain and they fit me in day-of. When the tooth needed to be extracted, they did it right then, too. Everyone was so friendly and kind while I was in pain, and I really felt heard when I voiced my worries. They answered all my questions and were so, so nice. Thank you so much!

I went to get my teeth clean at Illini Smiles and had a great experience. As I walked into the door, the staff was so friendly. The Hygienist was very knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend this place and will be back in 6 months for my next cleaning. Also, I recently had to get my retainer fixed and recent a nice, friendly service.

From schedulers to hygienists to Dr. Lee, all of the staff were very accommodating. Both I and my 5 year old needed cleanings and new patient exams. I can’t speak to more than that since we don’t need any work done at this time, but they scheduled us for back-to-back appointments and handled us smoothly, kindly, and professionally. The office is pleasant, and we’ll return.

I love Dr. Xu, he is personable and is on board with waiting and watching potential problem areas rather than jumping to drilling and filling. I personally love this approach, and I also love that he isn't judgemental about other dentists not necessarily doing the same; just an overall good, professional person that I trust to take care of my dental health. I also really like the staff, they are kind and gentle people. Definitely recommend!

Excellent practice. Very comfortable, efficient, and friendly. They are very popular likely due to this so it is a relatively long lead time for a first appointment. I look forward to continuing to visit this practice as my regular dentist.
