Bacheller David DDS

We love Dr. Bacheller and his staff. We've had several different dental needs (including cleanings, fillings, crown work, and work on a dental implant) and always had a very good experience. He was recommended to us by Dr. Norman Schutt when he retired. I never thought I'd find an office I liked as much, but we've been so happy with Dr. Bacheller. He really puts you at your ease. Even friends with little kids have had good experiences with him. We appreciate his approach - it's fairly conservative and we've never felt like he was taking advantage of us by suggesting or encouraging expensive procedures that may or may not be necessary. We've also found his prices to be very reasonable.

Dr. Bacheller has been great to go to the past 5 years. I think the biggest thing that sets him apart from other experiences I've had is that he's always looking to have a conversation with you about what is going on with your teeth/mouth and what potential concerns there might be, as opposed to just telling you what the status of teeth is. He always seems delighted when you want to know more about the what and why of the things he's doing or recommending.

As others have mentioned he's also very easy and fun to generally converse with. I'm not the kind of person that generally does much small talk at appointments, but it's always been very natural and enjoyable talking with Dr. Bacheller.

Unfortunately, I am moving out of the Champaign area, and I am not looking forward to trying to find someone else that I trust as much as Dr. Bacheller.

This was maybe the best dental experience I've ever had. I just went in for a cleaning, but Dr. Bacheller was working on me the entire time. He's very nice, but also really knowledgeable and we had a wonderful conversation that ranged from hypotheses about the evolution of certain teeth to the ways in which gum health could impact joint replacements. I actually really learned a lot! It was a totally lovely experience.

I love going to Dr. Bacheller. I didn't realize how many of my problems with Dentists were because the big offices with fancy machines have to get their money back by encouraging everyone to use unnecessary, expensive procedures. Dr. Bacheller keeps his business small so that he can offer the best advice for his patients, instead of the most expensive treatments. I feel I can trust when he says something is necessary, and he always gives me a range of choices. He knows his stuff, plus I enjoy listening to his informative conversation. His dentist chair could basically double as a U of I class if he assigned reading for the next 6 month visit. :)

This guy is a serious pro. I went in for a regular cleaning and he did a fantastic job. He is very personable and he was very gentle in his cleaning technique. He gave what I thought was a very fair assessment of my current fillings (which ones were still in good shape, which ones may need replacing in coming years, etc) and explained all of his opinions (rather than just saying "you need to have this done" which I have gotten from other dentists.) I was really impressed and glad I went to him. I would say the only drawback was that I had to wait almost a month to get an appointment, but it was well worth the wait for the professionalism and service I received. Zero wait time, really nice guy, fast and gentle cleaning. I think he would be an especially good pick if going to the dentist makes you nervous.

I have been going to Dr. Bacheller for all five years I've been living in Champaign and I can't recommend him enough! He's always pleasant and professional and my teeth have never looked better!

As an international student, I cannot express how much I appreciate it as he treated me as an individual with dignity. I felt really embraced... for his treatment, both professional and personal. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly, makes you feel comfortable. Explained my dental conditions to me with the xrays. Gave advice on both short term and long term measures.
