Burrito King Mexican Grill

I'm a frequent visitor to Burrito King restaurant. Their menu is appealing, and the fact that they're open late makes it a perfect spot for my late-night cravings. I particularly enjoy their Grilled Chicken Quesadillas and Loaded Nachos.
The Horchata is also a must-have for me on every visit.

I'm just speaking for me,I had a nice time here,I wasn't looking for a full course meal,I had an appointment (by the way it's on green street so I know for sure the green goes down this street east or west) and I wanted something quick. I got some chips and sause wich to my surprise turned out good,especially the sause. I thought my day was ruined (because I thought I was gonna be late for my appointment) but lo and behold the green came,so it's a good location amen.

Burrito King is my favorite place to be at after midnight, their spicy salsa is amazing just like everything they serve. The people always greet me (regular customer btw), extremely kind, and amazing service. As an Illini, couldn’t ask for a better late night food destination

I tried Burrito King for the first time today despite having lived in Urbana for close to three years now. All this time I've been missing out on THE BEST TACOS in the area! Believe me when I say that Burrito King is the real taco deal!

At first I thought it was a little pricey (tacos are $2.50 + additional toppings), but after the first bite, I was convinced that it was more than worth it. To top it all off, their salsas are actually hot and super tasty - which is something that a lot of places don't have going for them. For example, Moe's, Chipotle, or Pancheros (RIP).

This is definitely the closest there is to authentic tacos in the CU (even over Huaraches Moroleon, if you can believe it).

Do yourself a favor and treat yo'self to some Burrito King next time you get the taco cravings! 🌮

I Love this place to eat at for burritos when IAM super hungry that's where I go when I want a burrito 😁 burritos big as hell but good as hell and best in town😁 so if u haven't had one yet? I got the king, prince and elote. Loved it. People were nice, it wasn't a rush and again food was so good. The green hot sauce had the best kick (i have a high spice tolerance so to me it was barely there but my friend said it was spicy yet delicious flavor). Imma come back again

I stopped in at 2:30am and got my fix😎! Price and portions are spot on! THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!

This place is a solid 5/5. I always get the Acapulco and get enough food to last 3 meals. The flavour is there. The portion sizes are HUGE. The staff is very friendly. The fresh tortilla chips are delicious as well. Definitely give it a try!

Food was great tasting and service was quick and good. Plenty of leftovers for the next day too. Late night hours are a plus! Would highly recommend for a quick meal.

Long late night wait is worth it. Fantastic food, especially after a taste of the U of I night life.

Seating is limited, and they will be packed. Don't let this discourage you from giving it a try. Everything is cooked great and tastes the same.

I have drove by this truck for a year now. Today was the day. And I have been missing out! This is a little gem. I have been looking for a good burrito like I got back home. This place just exceeded it. Ah-mazing food. The steak was seasoned perfectly. Well done.

It doesn't matter because I'd honestly just go for the complimentary chips and salsa (which are delicious).

Burrito King is by far favorite location close to campus. The burritos are amazing, huge, and cheap. I feel like I'm getting 2 meals for the price of 1 every time I go.

A burrito is about 10 dollars here but it's pretty big. Would recommend if you are really hungry. The al pastor in particular is really good. Also you get chips and salsa for free. Place isn't a great to sit down and chill but generally take out the food anyways. Tacos are 2.5 here.

i actually ended up waiting quite a long time to receive an order i placed on grubhub BUT this place totally still deserves 5 stars. i called and was able to figure out the issue w the restaurant and the guys on the phone were very nice and very apologetic. they ended up delivering the order, hot and fresh and threw in some sodas. we tried tipping additionally when driver arrived but he wouldnt even accept the tip and just apologized profusely! only complaint is that he didnt accept the tip :p even tho we had an issue, it was solved quickly and appropriately. so many people jump to being disrespectful when things like this happen, really pays off to be patient and understanding. technology fails us, people make mistakes. we could all use a little more empathy in our lives and i thank burrito king for a delish late night meal and reminding me that being a decent human being isnt hard and usually pays off!

They knocked it out of the park when I ordered catering for 45! Not only was the food great, but there was a mountain of it and the pricing was fair. They saved my muscles by loading it in my truck without being asked at 2:00am to boot!

I went here because of the hooked deal- 6 dollar burrito prince. It was probably the best 6 bucks spent. The burrito was delicious and they give you a free side of chips and salsa. Will definitely come back here next time :)

Complementary chips and salsa, which seems fresh and tastes good. The food is delicious and portion sizes are more than decent for the price. There's Spanish TV for added feels.

Good food, good value. Chips and salsa were brought to the table while we waited for our lunch. Which was not a long wait at all.
