Helms Park

Nice place to relax and clear your mind it's so peaceful!

Never realized it had an official name. I always come here to relax and get centered. The surroundings are beautiful.

Neat park with some nice water features. Lots of birds, but the water can get a bit dirty. Paths may be muddy after large storms, but are still passable

This place makes me feel at piece with everything 🥰such a romantic setting!

For a small, city park, it is absolutely gorgeous. It is linked with another park across the street to the north, so you can get a nice walk in on the beautiful sidewalks. Waterfalls, a creek, saw a turtle and some geese.

It's a beautiful area and the animals around it aren't something you have to be worried about getting to close to which can't be said with many other places. There's a lot of space to walk, ducks and geese, wonderful waterfalls, parking is free and you can pretty much do whatever you want and just enjoy the scenery without going very far if you live close to Champaign

Nice place to walk through pathways, there are water falls that ends in a small lake, some tables ans benches on the sides of the park to eat or chat. Wild duckings and gooses are there and waiting to be feed. Parking accesible from Spingfield ave or Uviversity Ave. Either day or night is a cozy place to visit. It is surround by apartments so is quiet most of the time

Great place for a run. A beautiful park on the border between campus town and midtown in Champaign. The trails provide elevation that doesn't really exist in Champaign. So wonderful place for a run.

Very nice park. There's a lake with lots of ducks and geese, and a couple small waterfalls. Also has a muskrat!

This my first time visiting this park, but it definitely won't be my last. A great place to visit for friends or couples.

Helms park is a lovely drainage basin and great place.for a walk if you like to be near water and actually.hear running water in Champaign!

Because is a lot of growth and development here very family oriented Quiet nice places you can take your wife and kids For that I know my kids can become something in life

Helms Park is a hidden gem in Midtown Champaign. The ducks here are friendly and are partial to frozen peas.

Beautiful place, and you can just scream Dex Culbertson if the geese are too loud!
