There are so many cool items at this store! Not just art supplies, but flags, pins, patches, mugs, socks, and more. There is a large variety of quality art supplies. Staff is friendly, and the store is very welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community.

Art Coop is always a fun way to spend an hour, they have such a variety of fun and interesting items. Even if you not into creating art there's more here than just paint and canvas. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the nicest stores in Urbana.

In addition to the art supplies, there are all sorts of crafted things, fun novelty socks and mugs, a lot of super cool pride stuff, and a whole lot of pins. Very cool and welcoming store. Friendly staff. This is easily one of my absolute favorite stores in Champaign-Urbana

Wonderful shop! They have a great variety of items including small gifts (books, socks, wallets, etc), stationery supplies and high quality art supplies. I have purchased stickers, novelty pens (shaped like flowers 🌸), washi tapes, and watercolor painting supplies and everything has been great. The store is well organized and the staff is very helpful. I would definitely shop here again. ❤

This place is the best. They constantly come through when I need art supplies for my super cool daughter. Their warm, inviting staff make us feel right at home. I love the variety there. But mostly I love that they are oval, good humans and support our community.

This store is a gem in our community! Fun and funky gifts along with legit art supplies. I always find something perfect for the people in my life, and something I can't resist for myself! 🤩 The staff is helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to answer questions and provide assistance in picking out just-right items for budding artists.

Pens, cards, games, socks, and so much more!! I have only had positive experiences here and default to this business whenever I need a new notepad and leave with so much more. The “target” of art stores (yet wholesome and local). 10/10

I have been buying art supplies here for years and it is a wonderful local store with the most helpful and supportive staff. They celebrate diversity here above all else and everyone is welcome. Great selection of fun and really unique small gifts too.

I’m not a big Arts and crafts kinda guy but this store is just fun. There are lots of cool gift ideas. The vibe is always fun and up beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to check out when at Lincoln square mall.

This store is wonderful. Super unique, tons of art supplies and very LGBTQ+ friendly. Everyone is welcome here, and it’s obvious as soon as you look at the place! Also, I love that when I’m missing a certain color of Tombow brush markers, I can hit up the Art Coop and find it.
One last thing: they have an insane collection of tiny rubber figurines. I have no idea why anyone needs them, but go ahead, challenge this theory - as soon as you see them, you realize they are missing from your life and you must have many!

I love the staff here. They are very helpful if I have questions. I appreciate the inclusive community. The other day I struggled to find paints for black light paintings and the staff helped me find paints and markers. A much needed safe space for peeps.

Great supply of oil, acrylic and water color paints, brushes and paint palette knives I have not found elsewhere. Plus they have some cool geek collectables for Doctor Who fans and other cool trendy knick nacks.

LOOOOOVE Art Coop! I've been shopping here since I was an art student in 1992, and it has always been a great resource. In the last few years it has become one of my favorite places in CU, not just for the amazing art supplies and gifts or the rad knowledgeable staff, but for the welcoming queer-friendly space they provide, something that's so needed in these scary times. So much more than an art supply store.
