Great food! The chicken nachos were fantastic and unique! The outdoor/alley patio is wonderful, the beer selection is extensive, and the servers are friendly/very helpful. Thus is a must if you are in Champaign-Urbana!

I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches ever. Loved the old time jazz playing.

I know it's not their fault, but that Sysco truck in the photo arrived at the same time as our food... and stayed for the entire meal with the loud engine running. It was delivering food to the restaurant. It was obnoxious.

Had the Shrimp Po Boy Special with fries and a ice tea. It was delicious! EXCELLENT customer service! My waitress Leslie (One girl was shadowing the other one for training) was very friendly and inviting! She checked on me several times. Will definitely come back!

This is the first restaurant I have visited during the pandemic that is conducting contact tracing! Well done, Crane Alley! We had delicious drinks, tasty food (I really enjoyed the pretzel bites) in the outdoor seating area to the side of the restaurant, and the service was friendly and inviting. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Great place to go during the summer where you can sit at the Alley and enjoy the good weather, at night they light up Christmas lights which makes the Alley look beautiful. The food is very good and has several options.

We went shortly after they opened and they were already busy, and I can understand why - the food is delicious, the staff is great, and the atmosphere is cozy

This place is always amazing. The food is very unique and it is amazing. The kid in me lives the chili Mac (and the kid wins most of the time), but they also have amazing burgers, fancier entrees, and great appetizers. I don't drink much anymore, but they also have a solid beer list and a three or four pool tables.

Hands down the best grilled chicken in town. Always great food and solid beer selection.

Was in town to visit my friend so he took us here for dinner. Everything was fantastic!!!! Texas peach mule was my drink of choice; love it! So refreshing! Got the pretzel bites, Turkey pita with Mac and cheese to try & their chili! Love love loved it all! Chili has amazing flavor, was a wee bit spicy which I didn’t expect haha. But loved it overall! Mac and cheese is fantastic. Great selection of beers and drafts for beer lovers. Highly recommend!!!!💯💯

The food here was amazing! Our waiter Justin was super attentive and friendly. He gave our table some excellent recommendations and everyone cleaned their plate. I would definitely recommend eating here. There are pool tables inside, but we did the outdoor seating. Outdoor seating was gorgeous and had a great aesthetic feel. There was live music being played nearby, which definitely added to the experience.

Great food and a great beer selection. The drafts are very eclectic. Take samples and trust the bartender! I love the alley seating and the pool tables are decent. Classy but unpretentious gastropub. For my fellow vegetarians you cant beat their Incogmeato burger!

The beer selection is fantastic--best in Central Illinois, with a fantastic selection of regional brews, highlights of the US craft selection, and a beautifully curated selection of international options. I've first tried many of my favorite beers here--a perfect place for exploring what the world has to offer. Complemented by a good but underwhelming food menu. I rarely come here for the food, but I can't stop coming for the beer.

Crane is a wonderful place to have fun. Great beer selection, excellent service . I personally like sitting at the bar to have fresh beer from the taps, but they have nice outside sitting as well. More importantly, they have awesome vegetarian and vegan options. I little pricy, but definitely worth it.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! I highly recommend the chili cheese fries. They're among the best I've ever had. The wait staff was fantastic and refilled our drinks several times even though we only ordered drinks and appetizers. Can't wait to go back!

Crane Alley is a great combination of Bar, Restaurant, and Pool Hall. The food is excellent. The beer selection is extensive. The pool tables are well kept. Unfortunately there are only a couple of tables. The also have a lot of outdoor seating when the weather allows. The name is also appropriate since some of the seating is in the alley to the side.

One of my go-to places in town. Their draft list is always amazing. I'm a dark beer fan, and many places only have one or two darks, but Crane Alley always has an extensive and varied list with many options. And the food is delicious! It's fancy pub fare. It's great for just appetizers and drinks (I suggest the calamari and the hummus) or for a full meal (I suggest the gourmet grilled cheese and the mushroom ravioli). They always have great specials, too, especially specialty burgers. I recently had their pulled pork ginger soup that was phenomenal. A lot of vegetarian options, as well.

Pretty good food here. Nice stuff all around. I had the chili-mac with a garden salad and was not disappointed. My wife had the "War Pig" burger and said that was good too, even if the name is a bit disconcerting.

Great craft beer selection. Food is always good. I love the outdoor seating options, plus pool if you are looking for an activity. Highly recommend attending the crawfish boil, which usually occurs near Father's Day.

When the weather is nice, we always sit outside. When the sun goes down in the evenings the lights come on giving the outside alley a neat flare. The atmosphere is great, the food is better, and the service is always on point. I have never had a bad meal here and their appetizers are some of the best!
