Motel 6 Urbana, IL

Great place. The gentleman was so nice to fit us in at the last minute. Loved the room and the bathroom was so clean. So grateful to the gentleman at the desk the next morning. My husband needs his coffee and he was so nice to make him a fresh pot so he could put it in his travel mug. Thank you so much for the great experience. I highly recommend.

My rating is based mostly on the customer service I received. I had a few issues that needed help, when I say the staff was kind, helpful and accommodating, its an understatement. They went over and above during my stay. I definitely recommend. Good customer service is definitely a priority for this management.

This motel 6 is the best one I have ever stayed at. They except dogs with no discrimination of breed. Which was most important to me. Manager is amazing and so is the staff. I have stayed here for a few weeks now and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank so much for excepting my pitty it meant a great deal to me. Thank you again for being so amazing.

The owner is super nice & kind. Not only dropped us to our permanent resident from motel during our check out date but also came back to drop the medicines bag that we forgot at the motel. Highly recommended.

Motel 6 is usually a go to when I need a place to stay. And after a very long and very stressful day I was greeted with a smile and one of the nicest people I have met in a while. The manager made sure I found my room, was happy with it and treated me like I was a good freind.

Man I miss you guys me my old lady n dog stayed here in white van left my Xbox they held it there like family to us I have to speak to owner Everytime even his daughter knows when we come in to go get him we will be back soon guys hope your prepared a 7 year old and baby due Aug 21st see you guys soon love y'all like family great place to stay if u can't tell by how I acted lol great people

I have stayed at this property multiple times and have always been met with the most nicest staff , always willing to go the extra mile for every guest. Clean , sanitized, comfortable

WHAT A SURPRISE! I expected the usual two star motel nonsense and was BLOWN AWAY by an overtly friendly desk clerk and an experienced and professional staff making an obvious, and intentional effort to SERVE as hosts. The attention to detail shows up in CLEAN rooms, well positioned external lighting and cameras, a secure electronic lock system, and well designed modern rooms. Following a solid night of sleep I spent 15 minutes chatting with the owner, a hotelier of 30 years, who told me motel six is actively improving its brand and its overall quality is on the upswing and he likes being part of that movement. His overall kind and pleasant demeanor shone through every aspect of this property. Is it perfect? No. External design is sparse and without much vegetation giving it a cold feel, but hey, at least the time and money they are not spending on landscaping is showing up as clean comfortable rooms. Nice place and an even nicer family!

We stayed here with a group of High School students for a competition at U of I. Everything was clean and well organized for us. They even put the chaperone rooms closest to the exits! Everyone who works there was super kind and helpful.

The room was very clean. The motel itself had been taken care of. Our television worked fine, and the room also contained a small fridge and microwave. Be prepared for excellent water pressure in the shower!

They didn't charge us extra for the amount of people in our room, or for our kitty cat (we paid with card). How considerate! The staff was friendly. Highly recommended!!

Stayed there one night would have stayed all week If I could. Very well maintained property could tell that they had put quite a lot of work into renovations. The hotel is very clean but the best part definitely is the staff. They are so super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay.

This is the best I have been treated at Motel 6 in years! The only one that has been close is in Meridian Idaho. They go above and beyond to make sure I have a great day! I highly recommend this Motel 6 over any other at any price! My Hat's off to these very professional and honest people!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the wood look flooring. Basic room but it's exactly what we needed for our 2 night stay in Urbana.
Room didn't have a hair dryer but was easily available at the front desk. I travel with my own toiletries so didn't really miss that.
Oh and I got it at a great rate plus coffee in the morning!

The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room I had was very clean and spacious. I will stay here again next time I'm this way.

Motel 6 is my second home I love the rooms here and I also love the community and the people who run the motel 6

Excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room exceptionally clean, yes even the corners! Wooden floor rather than carpet .... another plus. Comfortable bed with fresh smelling linens. Exterior clean and tidy as well, staff out picking up trash first thing in morning. Easy access to I-74. Safe environment.

I'm giving this a five star rating, because it exceeded my expectations for a 1 star hotel. I'm not trying to imply this is a five star hotel. It is not. But for the price we paid, it was worth every penny. Sure it smelled a bit funny and the bathroom needed some updates. But the room was clean, bed was comfy, bedding looked new and well maintained. The room had a modern decor. We had a mini fridge and microwave that both worked. My only complaint was that it took a few minutes for my shower water to go from warm to hot. And since that was my only complaint, I thought this place deserves five stars.
