BEST shakes in the entire area, INCLUDING Rockford lol. We drive to Rochelle to this place now religiously every week now just for Shakes. They are open late and cannot be beat!!! Try this place. BEST shakes in the entire area. And the chocolate/peanut butter is the bomb in a great way.

Amazing fried chicken. Cole slaw was the bomb - that's a good thing. Menu is extensive, something for everyone. Staff is very informative and accommodating. I will definitely be back. A must to eat at!

Omg!! I'm up here on a business trip and I wanted something different to eat, so the guys suggested" Country School". At first I was like" WTH", after I went in and saw the prices I couldn't resist. Very friendly place. The young ladies that work there are very polite and well-mannered. I've been there twice already. Wish we had a place like this back home( Atlanta)!!

Fried Chicken is really good, quick service, and a nice little dining area. Nothing special, just really good chicken.

Country School is "as good as it gets" for fast food in the area. I have tried burgers, fried chicken and now I have been turned on to their chicken strips! The chicken strips are huge pieces of breaded chicken, breaded in the same manner as the bone-in pieces.

There has been a time where I have visited Country School and ordered the chicken strips 3 days within one week. They are that delicious!

Besides the burgers and chicken, their ice cream is also fantastic. I have heard good things about other items on their menu and I am looking forward to trying something new on my next visit.

The best malts! The young folk working here are always very friendly and energetic. We like to come here just to support high school age people who are willing to work and who have such good energy.

The food is always delicious and the service is always friendly and quick here. I have never had a bad experience with this place! The building itself is a little run-down but everything else about it is great. Also, it's incredibly cheap! Personally, I recommend treating yourself and trying one of their many available ice cream flavors. Perfect place for a delicious, quick meal!

Best chicken tenders I've ever had.

I was really impressed with this place! The place was very busy when we arrived at the drive thru, I even overheard the customer in front of me order an enormous family meal and the line still moved surprisingly fast considering. When I got to the window, the young lady was very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, two traits that seem to be lost on the youth these days. My order was accurate, hot, and very tasty!
Surprisingly delightful experience! Will go again.

With only 2 or 3x of occurrences in any sort of negative aspect in 4 years of eating here atleast 3x a week, I'd have to say I love this small town eatery

Old school, old school fried chicken and a lot more type of joint, prices are very fair, food isn't gourmet but it's solid fast food or better quality and it's hometown owned. Stoner kids working could maybe try a little harder and move a little, but all in all I ended up eating there almost every day for a week so it was worth it

Food is great but they cold clean up inside a little to make people want to dine in.

One of my favorites. You can't go wrong here. The burgers are juicy all the sides taste great. But the chicken steals the show. I always was served a fresh meal here. Fyi give the patty melt a try best one yet

This is a Great place to eat if you like home style fried chicken. It's some of the best I have ever had, and is some like those places on "old Route 66" .
The folks there are friendly, and the scoops of high quality "hard" ice cream are HUGE. I try to stop every time I'm around there.

The only thing that would make it better would be a "Cruise Night" and Home Made Root Beer !

As always this place is top notch. It may be small, but there is a large menu and it's all good! There are plenty of places that have a bigger selection of ice cream, but they have the best and give you a generous portion at a great value! There chicken is the best around. Hands down.

Stopped today for chicken bcuz I had read good reviews. Bought a chicken family meal.
Came with 4 bisquits, coleslaw, mashed potatoes & gravy. Delicious! My husband ALWAYS finds something to complain about with his meal no matter where we eat but not this time! He was very happy with the entire meal. We live 45 minutes away and he told me this was are new "go to" fried chicken spot. You can eat inside but we chose to order from the drive thru and then pull over and eat in their big parking lot. It was fun like having a mini picnic. Be sure to ask for utensils and plates if you want to do same.

The chicken dinner is delicious. I got a BLT sandwich today and it was very good. Very busy on Saturday, but worth the wait.

Awesome place to stop in for lunch or dinner. Real, cooked, food! Amazing chicken strips dinner, with choices of sides.. Burgers, other sandwiches, real actual tubs of ice cream, no shake machine that's always broken, etc... If you've never been here, you really need to go. Seriously; just do it.
– With a place like this around, how can McDonald's even stay in business next door? That's one of life's great mysteries... U hope this place is around for a very long time to come.
