Spring Valley Restaurant

First time here, great little restaurant.
We had a really nice waitress who put up with us and our antics.
My Burger was good, the soup was excellent.
Prices are not bad.

A great little restaurant. We went on a busy night, yet the waitress was very attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. Good portions, reasonable prices. We'll definitely be going back next time we're in the area.

My husband and I ate there on 10/23. I had the chicken fajita skillet, he had the Mexican skillet, each with a pancake. The pancakes were delicious & just the right temperature to melt butter, served with warm maple syrup. Both of our skillet dinners (prepared by chef Paco) were cooked to perfection, each layer very tasty, a generous amount of food! The waitress, Montana, was pleasant, conscientious and polite.
It’s a pleasure to dine in a locally owned Mom and Pop restaurant, where they really care about their customers! 😊

Absolutely love this place. The staff is very friendly for the most part, one member in particular not so much BUT that isn’t the point of my review. We eat here every morning when we are in town with family. Most times 2, if not 3 mornings in a row. Truly a “down home cookin’” type of place. Big portions, great taste. Highly recommend!

$11.95 for a tender chicken breast smothered with sauteed veggies and melted cheese, a salad, a side, and dessert (mint chocolate chip ice cream). Enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. Was working in the area and stopped for dinner on the way back to Rockford because the parking lot was crowded on a Monday nite. Yum! Great service and so reasonable. Bonus: the dining room has a mural of the Rock River.

The food here is affordable and very tasty!

food is always good. tried so many diffident dishes and all have been great. there soup is not to salty or to hot to eat. the waiters wonderful.

I had a delicious skillet for a great price. The waitresses were really friendly and helping each other out. Nice family restaurant. The pancakes were very good.

The food was so good. We had fried chicken and BLT wrap with onion rings. Everything was perfect, and the server was great. I will definitely be coming back

The waitress was wonderful! Also the onion rings are a must! They are not soggy like other places.

Great service, good food, great prices. The bread was amazing all around. I had a gyro, which was good, with a simple flavor palette. My other half had a burger, I had a bite out of it. Great burger, well balanced flavor. Not a place for drunk food, but a good experience for brunch or early afternoon eats. Would visit again!

The food and service here are always outstanding. The have a variety of things on the menu, and it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I highly recommend trying this place.

The soups are great and the burgers are amazing as well. The chicken tenders the past two times wasn’t the greatest but the sides (motz sticks, onion rings, potato wedges, coleslaw and fries) have been consistently delicious

It had been decades since I went to this location and had known it as "The Red Apple" back in the day. My girlfriend and I had just noticed it and decided to go and check it out before Super Bowl kickoff.

We were pleasantly recieved as our waitress helped us decide on our orders. My skillet was devine and her burger was packed with goodness! The waitress took time to ask which teams we were rooting for and we had some good laughs. Best part was the bill didn't break my wallet! Thank you Spring Valley, we'll be back soon!
