Ziegler's Ace-Lake in the Hills

Greeted by a very helpful employee just inside door. Told him want I needed and he took me right to the place the item was in the store. He asked me a few questions and then showed me options based on my answers. What a great experience that is not common in retail anymore. Excellent job!!

It's much easier than the big stores. I really like my local Ace Hardware. It's easy to find an employee who can help you find what you are looking for.

I ordered a grill online to pickup at this location. When I went to the store the package was much larger than I expected. Even though I lived outside of the normal delivery area, Roger, the store a manger went out the way to help me out and deliver it to my house which was a HUGE help! Definitely above and beyond and very appreciated! Will go out of my way to shop at this store from now on even though there is a location closer to me. Thank you!

The employees are really the best you can get. They are always helpful and provides great suggestions when you're stumped at what you can do for your situation. This Ace is my go to place!

Very helpful staff that can answer any questions you may have. At this location they stock irregular furnace filter sizes that Home Depot or Lowe's do not stock. On fact a Lowe's employee recommended o visit this store after not finding what I needed.

I purchased a grill for my husband for his birthday. They had to order the specific grill from their warehouse. They got it in the store the next day and assembled it. After the manager found out that it was a birthday gift, he was able to squeeze in the delivery for that particular day. The guys were fantastic.

I bought a Weber grill two years ago from Ace and was having an issue with the flame and so I figured let me call them and to my surprise whoever answered asked me where I lived and came out in the cold and rain and worked on my grill all within 20 minutes of calling, couldn't believe it! Now that’s customer service you will never get at the big box stores. Will definitely be giving them more of my business. Thanks Ace in Lake in the Hills!

Great customer service. I can almost always find what I need and for the right amount. If I can't find it there, they know where I need to go to get it (usually specialty items)

The absolute best - knowledgeable and conscientious

Ace has the most knowledgeable and helpful associates to guide you in the right direction when you are working on a project and are stuck. Their prices are higher than the big box stores but the associates knowledge is worth it.

I have used the Lake in the Hills Ace Hardware for the past 15 years. Ace is still the place the the big box stores will never match up too. The customer service at the Lake in the Hills Ace Hardware is top notch. I am leaving the review for the great service I received from Mike and about my key problem.

These guys are phenomenal I dropped off a bunch of cabinets that need a glass sheets through the cabinets they don’t stock because of the size one of the employees Went out his way out his way to search for The glass size and let me know when they can get it and order it I have to say you’re not going to get this good service from a Home Depot or Lowe’s or any box stores although there are people there they will help you I don’t wanna sound negative towards them but this place they get you what you need
