Jewel-Osco

I have shopped at nearly every Jewel in the Chicagoland area. This location has an INCREDIBLE liquor department / selection! Very hard to find beers (Polish, Tyskie, Zywiec, etc) as well as Ranger IPA’s and Ranger beer.

My only complaints are that the Deli is never properly staffed during high volume times/days and dinner/after work hours. Some are extremely slow in getting orders together, while others are just fabulous! Produce is still way too high/expensive, but it looks decent. Overall, prices are a bit too high. I don't like the 3 day only sales.
All sales should be weekly. No limited days. However, that being said, the employees are extremely friendly and always very helpful. Great customer service. The alcohol and liquor selection and department are the ABSOLUTE BEST at this location, and often times I will drive to this location just for the beer and liquor selection!

Shout out to James bringing in the shopping trolleys! I was here in mid December and he was extremely festive singing holiday tunes in the parking lot. He even called me his "bro". Give that man a raise!

It was Christmas eve, and they were out of carts, and the baskets, and on top of all that they had no heat it was only 3° outside. With all that going on the employees were great, they took the time to show me where an item was and they did with a smile and with their coats gloves, scarfs, and hats on!

I always feel at home here even though I visit from out of state. Jewel staff is always friendly. Great finds in the store. And in Illinois you get groceries and liquor in one store! The best!!!

Decent selection, rarely crowded,. Produce is nicer that jewel or mariano's and the prices are not unreasonable. The staff is also nice

So every time I have gone shopping here I've had a decent experienced. The employees are super nice and always willing to help you. However the one employee that stood out to me the most was Mark, he was super helpful and patient with me. I was very impressed with his professionalism and how he carried himself. Now that's what you call a great hire!

Like many, we shop for sale items all the time to save money and Jewel never fails to surprise us with good quality meats on sale. Each store is a little different, but tucked away somewhere there is always a bargain area where you can find all kinds of things for a "steal" (i.e., jewelry, spices, etc.) And their produce & fruit section of the market is always fresh.

Jewel… to some is …just Jewel. Shopping for me has to be not just about buying what I want and need. It’s the total experience. Great Customer Service, well stocked, cleanliness and pricing.

This was my first time at this location. Everyone is not friendly but the lady at
Deli counter may not be real good but she was great and nice and friendly and helpful to me. Also the gentleman at the ring your items yourself was very helpful.
I say this because your store on 71 in Dundee, iL they are very ignorant and racially to people of color shopping at this location. Things will need to change as we all have to learn to accept all people because that is the job you accepted when you ask for the job and my job is to come respectfully purchase groceries and to say thank you. That I do. So I won't leave without making my purchase anymore. But I will continue to be polite and thank good people. Again thank you. Ratings great.

Updating my review from 2 to 5 stars. in the past year so this Jewel has gone through a major remodeling and also a remodeling of their customer service. The inside looks gorgeous pretty much like a whole foods in terms of quality. And the meat department has had a major upgrade. I don't know if they got new butchers or if they just got better but the meat here is the best at any of the jewels in the surrounding area. Do not go to the jewel in Dundee go here instead.

I was able to get a few things I needed at the last minute. Staff was friendly. Store is very well stocked!

Me and my family have been coming here since the early 90's. And the store looks so much nicer now with all of the remodeling they just did. And we love casher Linda she is always very sweet to us.

I usually go here for the deli and jewel chicken, The staff seems to always be really friendly and helpful. The gentleman name Cory at the deli is hands down the best! Super polite and does a fantastic job on cutting deli meat right!

This Jewel-Osco is located in Algonquin on Randall Road it was nice to walk into this Jewel because there were friendly and welcoming it was clean and everybody looked as though they were right at work. It was a good experience shopping at this Jewel-Osco in Algonquin on Randall Road thanks for a nice experience.

Staff are very good. I lobe Jewel produce.
Pick up and delivery available. Near my home. Not a big box store so it's easier to shop and they are well stocked.

For my mini grocery runs im OK paying a little more for the convenience of Jewel, they're good to employees and I like the store layout.

Good location but very heavy traffic at times. All items are easily available and store staff is willing to go above and beyond to help you find whatever you are in search for.
