Chase's Restaurant

After taking the ferry and then bus to Schoodic Point, we stopped here for lunch. Friendly waitstaff and good food.

I had a pizza, onion rings, and a beer. The pizza was homemade and very good. The onion rings were thin and delicious. Of course, the beer was good. The service and atmosphere were fine.

So glad we found this restaurant. We had a great meal, service was efficient and friendly and it was relaxed and quiet. Bonus we found a delicious blueberry pie to take back to our friend.

We stopped in last Saturday evening and had a great dinner. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection, the french fries were great, and the beer and wine were refreshing. The blueberry pie was delicious. We quite enjoyed our meal. This is a superb local dining place.

Wonderful service! The onion rings are soooo good! The funky monkey cheesecake is very good as well!

Friendly staff, great food! My wife and I stopped in here after visiting Ravens Nest. I got some delicious lobster bisque soup and chicken tenders and my wife ordered a lobster roll. The food came out quick, and We both enjoyed our meals. If we are in this area again, I would highly consider going back here for lunch / dinner.

This restaurant has been in business for many years. I have visited many Maine restaurants and this was the most perfectly cooked haddock I've found in recent years. I asked for crispy and it was perfect imo. They are NOT stingy with their portions. I also like the options of baked or mashed potato. I'm not always in the mood for fries. My friend had fish and chips and she said it was excellent. The cole slaw was delish as well. My aunt and uncle lived in Winter Harbor for many years and spoke highly of Chase's. I am looking forward to eating there again soon!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, after the lunch crowd. Place was dead (we were the only ones there for awhile) and we ordered fish and chips and a lobster roll.
Overall very tasty.

We had breakfast at Chase's twice. Both times were great. The French toast with cream cheese filling and blueberry compote was so good. They have a good menu with enough options that I think anyone could find something to eat. There's also a good range of pricing, depending on whether you just want something simple like pancakes or want to splurge on lobster Benedict.

We took the ferry from bar harbor to Winter harbor today and was able to walk down to chase restaurant. The food was simply perfect the lobster BLT was the perfect combination of taste crunch and flavor. The broiled scallops stuffed was great though they did not remove the foot. Highly recommend this place for food and service.

I really enjoyed the chowder here. The Reuben sandwiches looked amazing, but I opted for the fish and chips which was excellent. Our whole table enjoyed the meal, so a great place to stop in town.

Good food albeit a little steep.pricing for #market pricing items. Club sandwich was very entiful and the price was in line woth the food portion.

My wife had the lobster dinner for only $25. I had the scallops. The quality of our meal was fantastic. Our server was friendly and helpful and seemed to be genuinely happy that we came in. We tried the Dragonfly wine, which is a local Maine wine, and they served coca-cola instead of pepsi-- which made this southerner happy.

We enjoyed Chase's and will definitely return. The fried fish was flaky and the batter was light, not greasy. The staff was welcoming!

Decided since it was our last night in Maine we should eat some Lobstah! Service and food were excellent, and I recommend Chases to anyone who is staying in the area. And you MUST get the Blue every pie, best we had in Maine!

I liked this place. They were all so friendly during this time of gloom. I had a lobster roll which was very good. I asked for no mayonnaise. That has no business trying to make lobster better. They gladly served it up that way. It comes in a standard size Maine hot dog roll. You can find lots bigger, but this was perfect for lunch. And I got a side of French Fries, made with Maine potatoes. My wife ordered a blackened fish wrap and reported that was very good as well. And we finished with a slice of blueberry pie, the blueberries coming from just a few miles up the road. Attentive service, excellent food, proper social distancing. Perfect lunch and we topped it off with a larger than standard tip. They earned it!

Quaint local flare, decent menu and full bar, absolutely the best onion rings on the planet !!!

Bar harbor and Acadia national Park are must see. But if you want to get away from the crazy crowds jump up to the peninsula right above it winter harbor. And this little restaurant was great. The waiter was super nice very friendly and everything we ordered including the cheesecake was spectacular. Most every eating experience we had at these mom and pop restaurants was fabulous. Enjoy winter harbor.

Not to be missed if in Winter Harbor. Don't let the casual dining atmosphere fool you - this is some of the tastiest food on the peninsula. Have not had better fried haddock anywhere. Save room for dessert. Homemade pies so good you might be resentful having to share. Make them order their own! Great service, friendly staff. A favorite of ours when we visit Maine.
